What would you say about National Open University where students don't know their examiners or whomever will mark their scripts?. It's almost like writing a professional exam. But an exam with about 30% pass rate? Na ACCA question dem dey set?
It's either the lecturer is a sadist, didn't impact knowledge, the student's learning environment is very poor or a large percentage of the students are dullards. |

Those top schools require two things for admission; stellar grades and meritable curricular activities.. Not one useless post UTME. Yet our students thrive over there because admission processes are more meritocratic. But in my country, I don't think admission into public unis are up to 50% merit. May God help us. |

Romance › "Twerk For Your Husbands" - Ayanda, Gospel Singer Advises Women by BrosMayowa(op): 10:07am On Jul 06, 2016 |
The gospel star’s wife told Drum magazine that prayer‚ trust‚ faith and intimacy plays a vital role in a marriage. And good food‚ of course. Ayanda told the publication that as a wife‚ cooking is not all you do. “You pray‚ you cook and you twerk for your husband. He needs to find twerking at home. As much as I’m a wife‚ I can’t afford to stop being a girlfriend. When we close the bedroom door‚ it’s not time to pray. Intimacy is very important. You can’t downplay intimacy‚” she said. Ayanda added that even though female fans are bound to get carried away- “groupies” are not an issue for her. Ayanda and her gospel singer husband are known for their fun view of their marriage. Sfiso has famously referred to his wife as his 'Kim Kardashian' but has expressed that he doesn't like it when people refer to her as a gold digger. During an interview on CliffCentral The gospel star stated that when he met his wife for the first time in 2002 he knew she was the one. “The first time I saw my wife‚ I told her‚ ‘I want to marry you’ and she didn’t believe me. She told me that we were too young. Even though she didn’t believe me and I didn’t have money I told her that God will provide.” Sfiso remembered how he couldn’t afford anything at the time but Ayanda still loved him. “After we got married things were so bad‚ it was like someone told everyone not to hire me or give me any interviews or anything. I had to stay with my mother-in-law and Ayanda in their house because it was bad.” He explained that this led him to approach churches in the community for gigs saying this is the reason he gets angry when people label Ayanda as a “gold-digger who is only with him for the fame.” Source: http://www.sowetanlive.co.za/entertainment/2016/07/04/you-pray-you-cook-and-you-twerk-for-your-husband---ayanda-ncwane

Romance › Re: What Can One Do About A Snoring Partner? by BrosMayowa(m): 10:56pm On Jul 02, 2016 |
redgem: Most people are prone to snoring... Snoring is one big turn off for some people, me in particular... imagine you had a very stressful day and need a good night rest and you can't get one cos your partner snores so bad...... Damn!!!
I love my sleep and wouldn't want to be disturbed by the sound of a crying bull...but what can one do about a partner who snores
I've heard and read that snoring causes havoc in relationships, which I'm sure is true because one person won't be able to have a good sleep....and not having a good sleep, won't keep your mind at rest...and not having a rest of mind, emmm....you know what will happen next
If you find out that your bf/gf is a deep snorer, would you end the relationship?
If you decide to stay with him/her, will you tell them that they snore? I asked this cos I know some people don't really know they snore and won't be happy if they were told...
Married folks, what are your sleeping arrangements like, Do you and your partner sleep in separate rooms?
How do you keep your bond strong in the face of snoring?
Can one ever stop snoring? Get a chin strap |

evegran: I'm tired of the generalisation that goes on here on NL.
OP, use "some" Eg: "Why do some women prefer bad boys to nice guys"?
I'm excluded from that though. I like nice, civil guys. Ones with manners and a functioning brain.
Not some smelly, uncultured guy- forming rapper and acting like a teenager in a bid to come across as "cool". I get irritated at such. 0_o But why are you this gorgeous na |

Oh, yeah, they are all at the other thread writing long headache inducing essays about gender equality and how the man should par take full time in house chores since, according to them, there is no difference between a man and a woman. ochallo: Typical nigerian response. A typical Nigerian can give you the full analysis of the problem but would start giving blanket statement when asked the solution. What is real banking? lool Maybe he doesn't want to let out or reveal their own measures/strategy to the public like that. Remember that competition still exists among them. |
