Bukolaolamipo: Ok dear Please where do I pay the administrative charge of 35k? Is it on NIS website and will I also pay for the application fee for passport also |
Travel › Re: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by brown1234: 7:37pm On Nov 11, 2023 |
Bukolaolamipo: When you're changing your name ,you must first of all make sure the new name is what you have on your NIN ,before going to apply for a new international passport, both agencies share database that's why the moment there is an issue with your NIN, automatically you'll have Issues processing your passport. Apply for Change of name on international passport, certain documents are required and you have to pay an administrative charges of 35k,for NIN you have to pay 15k remitta fees for change of details on NIN and whatever additional fees the NIMC center charges you, it'll be on the high side if it's a private one but if it's a government Nimc center like the ones you can find in your local government secretariat, then the charges would be lesser although both centers can charge very high if you want it ASAP Thanks for the reply. I have done the nimc change to my husband name, and also done the news paper publications and court affividate |

Cashmadam: Sorry about the refusal.
My thoughts:
1. When it comes to visa applications, it is always better to be precise. I noticed she 'rounded" up her monthly salary. It might look insignificant but when your case worker is looking for a reason to refuse your application, the insignificant becomes significant
2. Monthly salary of N319K plus is too low. That is the fact.
3. No savings? That was a disaster waiting to happen
4. With her monthly salary, no saving and no other source of income, the only option left is to have a sponsor. Even that does not guarantee approval
5. In my humble opinion, your sister simply cannot afford to travel to the UK at this time. She should not waste her money and time to reapply for now until her financial status improves or she has a credible sponsor.
Perharps others can share their thoughts. Thanks for the response. When she reapply in Dec or Jan. By then she said would have had a sponsor and also due for increament in salary this oct. |

My sister have just be refuse uk visa want can she do when she reply again I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) 4.2 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules of visitors because: • You have applied to visit the United Kingdom for 10 days for a family visit. In assessing your application. I have considered the information provided, your personal and financial circumstances and the credibility of your trip in the context of its timing and your stated intentions. • You state that you are employed by *******''***as a Marketing Manager earning 320,000.00 NGN (340.93 GBP) per month. I acknowledge you have provided employment letters and payslips in support of your application. Having examined the payslips submitted however, I note a discrepancy in the total earnings amount stated and the net amount after deductions. The document states total earnings of 355,500.00 NGN less total deductions 35,540.00 NGN which does not amount to 320,000.00 NGN but to 319,960.00 NGN. This discrepancy undermines the overall credibility of your application. I am therefore not satisfied that you are employed or remunerated as stated. • Furthermore, in your application you state you have no other savings and no one else is contributing towards the cost of your trip. You state that you intend to personally spend 1,700,000.00 NGN (1811.20 GBP) on your visit as declared. I note that this amounts to more than five times your monthly income. I am not satisfied this form of expenditure is proportionate to your circumstances as stated nor am I satisfied of your intentions and whether you will leave at the end of your proposed trip. • Given the above, I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor and that you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph’s V 4.2 (a) and (c) of the Immigration Rules. Rate of exchange 1 GBP = 938.606 NGN reference www.oanda.com on 20/10/2023 |

ekitimanalways: This is from a Nairalander (skentelelady). It should help. "I explained earlier under her post. She only needs affirmation of name from high court not notorised. Then go before her capturing date with documents that carry the right names and arrangement. They will then do verification and capturing same day. I did both verification and capturing same day at shagamu.
The issue of wrong DOB was sorted with email sent to servicon thru one of the officer I we met there for a token. This was rectified b fore our capturing date too" Thanks but she had not capture before |

MrAAA2: As family reunion perhaps. On the day of the mother's interview, both applications will be submitted for appropriate consideration.
But the mother will need a very convincing motivation letter and CV. So while she is filling category b for herself she is book family reunion for the baby. Will the embassy give them appointment date together? |

Mrmoney90: Ok you earn 280k and you spend 100k as part of your monthly living expenses, which leaves your disposable income at 180k. Multiplying 180k by 3 months, you have 540k as disposable income. That’s a good one.
Now how much does your wife spend monthly as part of her contribution? And how much does she earn? With that you can be able to calculate total cost of your trip. And she needs to add her bank statement as well, regardless of you being the chief sponsor She earn 200k after tax |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by brown1234: 11:33am On Jan 24, 2023 |
Mrmoney90: It depends on your travel expenses and how much you earn monthly, as your total cost of trip should not exceed 3 times your disposable income. Your account balance should just be sufficient enough. There is no specific amount per say, but let’s just say 5 million balance should do I earn 280k after tax. Can my wife also summit her own acct statement also |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by brown1234: 11:22am On Jan 24, 2023 |
Mrmoney90: Well, as long as you are financially capable of sponsoring the trip, then you can go ahead. Your job/business should be a proof of ties too What can my closing balance be although no plan of lumps amount of money |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by brown1234: 10:23am On Jan 24, 2023 |
Mrmoney90: Unfortunately that won’t suffice. The UKVI isn’t dumb that they would even consider that transfer of property thing few days to your application. Instead, you can include family photos with your parents.
Since you operate a POS business and also have such funds deposited in your salary account, it would have been better the funds from the POS business goes into a separate account from the salary account. But since that’s not the case, you would have to explain why it is so, and also differentiate which transaction is your salary and which is from POS. Quite hard though.
Lastly, why are you going to the Uk? And who is sponsoring? I am sponsoring myself going with my wife as a tourist for 1week |
