My opinion thou, theres this nysc parade team, those that match to welcome the gov. Cant remember the names, they the one to welcome the gov. During swearing in and passing out in the camp, those that match in quater guard, colour party, and all that, most of the people in my time where mainly posted to the capital, this people are different from people that match in their various platoon, and i think during the final passing out, OBs can an also help but its not a cds group per say, i think footbal can, if u in nysc team, as there will be regular training for those selected, another group is the band, and this stuff are available to those that come to camp early, like the nysc parade team and even obs, that my thought anyway

First it makes u go close to the authoriries in ur camp, say the soldiers and the nysc officials, although soldiers do say in posting, but theres this nysc parade team welcome the governor and match jim in into the different platoon on swearing in and passing out of the camp, colour party and quater quard, this people are selected based on "first come" this can help u inflence ur posting as all the people that where in that group in my time where posted to state capital

Sure u will be allowed to enter the camp on monday, u will be at advantage cos u do ur registration and collect materials before the rush on tuesday, saves u from that nonsense cue that u spend hours standing to do registration wit ur load, and also u if u can match, then u join the first set of people to begin, u now make up nysc parade team, this people are distinguished from their platoon parade and they mainly posted to the state capital

if you have go with it, sometimes they dont perform thorough search, they seized mine at the gate, but when i wanted to go take hair cut, i went there the office and they ask me to drop my tag and i should return the clipper after using so i can come back to collect my tag, so you can go wit urs, they will giv it to u when u need it

good u go still open eye soldier men go collect am for gate tell u say u no be military man, anyway they do a search at the gate and they will collect it before entering the camp, but if you are lucky dey dont find it, u r good to go, in my camp, there was a woman selling at the gate just before u enter the camp, and wen u get to gate, they will ask u for your soldier belt, i stupidly fall for it, the soldier man ask for my clipper and soldier belt, i went to search for it down my bag thinking its one of the requirement to enter the camp, as i handed it over to the soldier, they said its their property and i should only collect my clipper on the last day before i leave the camp, meanwhile they will be looking at you as you are buying the belt from the woman, am even sure they where the one that place the woman there just to collect peoples money and they seize it from u as u entering the camp, na nja we dey

Take vehicle going to lagos and u can stop at ore, thats in ondo state, from there take a bus going to ife or osogbo, u get vehicle going to ede, also someone said u can get from Onitsha, but it may be slow, also u can follow tru edo, stop in benin city, tell the vehicle u wont to stop at uselu motor park, u get straight bus or taxi to ede camp, all the best

95 percent of people posted to nysc may never hv the oppurtunity of visiting the state they posted until they receive their call up letter, e be like nysc dem dey employ native doctor to choose state for people just to Bleep u up, anyway u gona be fine am sure sokoto is not that bad, if u working on redeployment start to strategiz now, remember redeployment is only granted based on health, and marital for status this for ladies, so if u choosing health, plan ahead, get good medical report, tell the doctor to giv u more info, abt the chosen ailment then make sure u redeploying back to ur state of origin, for example u from enugu, and u got posted to sokoto, wen redeploying u shld not choose abuja lagos, or delta, it wont be granted, its expected u return back to ur state of origin or base as filled during registration,u can ask other people for more info.
