…Describes His Comment on PDP’s Candidate as Thoughtless The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization has described the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Deputy Director-General of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Organization, Mr Adams Oshiomhole as an unstable and falsehearted character who should be disregarded by Nigerians. Nigerians are appalled by the reckless comments made by Oshiomhole, who being distraught by the increasing popularity of the PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar has now resorted to hauling insults and vituperations against the person of Atiku as witnessed in his Channels TV Politics Today interview on Wednesday. Oshiomhole is behaving like someone suffering from acute Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD). This can only explain why the former APC National Chairman, who was disgraced out of office, continues as a chattering roller coaster and a musical chair politician who specializes in making unfounded comments and inventing fictitious claims against others just to draw undue attention to himself. Nigerians can recall how Oshiomhole in 2016 described Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as an impostor, a fake pastor, rusticated student, a career dropout, acid bath assailant, liar, treasury looter; an incompetent and questionable character, who is only good for night meetings and not fit to be the governor of Edo state, only to turn around in 2020 to state that these damaging allegations were mere political statements. Nigerians expect Adams Oshiomhole to note that Presidential Campaign addresses serious issue and not a platform for throwing tantrums and irresponsible commentaries. In that regard, Nigerians are not ready to accept such apparent HPD attitude from him towards the nation’s preferred leader, Atiku Abubakar. In any case, Nigerians will not be surprised to see Adams Oshiomhole turning around at Atiku Abubakar’s inevitable victory and inauguration on May 29, 2023, to condemn Asiwaju Tinubu and declare his current unsavory comments against Atiku Abubakar as mere political statements. If Oshiomhole has honour or means well for this nation, he ought to have resigned as Deputy Director General of Asiwaju/Shettima Presidential Campaign after series of shameful revelations of reported allegations touching on the integrity of the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Instead of forum-shopping from one television station to the other, Oshiomhole ought to be explaining Tinubu’s deluge of questioning over alleged forgery, perjury, treasury looting; inconsistencies in age, name ancestry, educational qualifications as well as the link to nefarious trafficking that led to his forfeiture of a whopping sum of $460,000 to the United States of America in a narcotic matter. Oshiomhole should help his candidate (Tinubu) to account for how the photograph of former Governor Donald Duke was allegedly stolen and used for Asiwaju documentary to campaign as a candidate for the 2023 election. Our campaign holds that contrary to the garments of unity which Oshiomhole is forcing on Tinubu, the Presidential Candidate of the APC lacks antecedents that will showcase him as a believer in a truly united and indivisible Nigeria. It is imperative to note this accounts for the discussion gaining traction in the public space where Asiwaju Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, is alleged to be plotting the relocation of the Federal Capital from Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, back to Lagos, despite denials by his campaign. Moreover, Oshiomhole is not in any position to preach about matrimonial competence and sanctimony as he has not explained the whereabouts of his imported foreign wife to Nigerians. It is important for Oshiomhole to note that Nigerians have moved beyond Tinubu as they have already attained consensus across the political, ethnic and religious divides to vote in Atiku Abubakar as a pan-Nigerian and unifier that will rescue our nation from the shambolic rule of the divisive, insensitive and corrupt APC. Of course, Nigerian have come to a consensus that our nation needs a visionary leader, like Atiku Abubakar and certainly not a bat with its inadequacies, specie inconsistencies and aversion to light. …Says APC Presidential Campaign Smacks of “Oluwole” Creation The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organisation counsels the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to apologize to Nigerians for reportedly presenting a photograph of former Cross Rivers governor, Donald Duke, in a documentary as himself (Tinubu). Nigerians were miffed by the reported disingenuous use of Donald Duke’s picture in the said documentary to portray Asiwaju Tinubu, purportedly at his young age, which again confirms the dishonesty of the APC Presidential Campaign and further questions the personal integrity of the APC Presidential Candidate. It is instructive to note that the gale of questions and controversies surrounding the personality of the APC Presidential Candidate smacks of a merchandise in “Oluwole” market, a Lagos Center where anything was possible. Such reputation is less demanding of any individual seeking to lead a nation like Nigeria with over 200 million citizens who are in dire need of a credible, transparent, honest and truthful leader. Our campaign believes that Asiwaju Tinubu should apologize to Nigerians for making them to believe that he was the one in the said picture of former Governor Duke and using it to gain followership in the documentary that was part of his campaign materials being used to canvass for votes. It is not enough for the Tinubu Campaign to engage in conflicting reactions over the reportedly stolen photograph weeks after the identity theft had gained strong traction in public discourse. In fact, it stands in strong validation of allegations against the APC Presidential Candidate. Already, the inability of Asiwaju Tinubu and his campaign group to adequately explain his links to the forfeiture of a whopping sum of $460,000 in a narcotic trafficking case, the reported theft of another Nigerian identity for campaign documentary amid other sundry allegations, place huge question around the integrity of Tinubu as an individual. It is imperative to state that any candidates who cannot properly and transparently account for his identity is fake and as such is totally undeserving of the votes of Nigerians ahead of the February 25, 2023 presidential election. Atiku/Okowa campaign hereby counsels Asiwaju Tinubu to do the needful by apologizing to Nigerians for deceiving them and then accept the verdict by the people that he is not in any position to govern a country like Nigeria. The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization sympathizes with Nigerians over the persistent fuel scarcity which has continued to make life very difficult for Nigerians, saying that it’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, feels their pains. The Atiku/Okowa campaign however assures Nigerians of realistic solutions to the perennial challenges of providing fuel for Nigerians, a product which we should have in abundance. The campaign says Atiku is prepared to block all leakages that have encouraged mismanagement and inconsistent delivery of fuel to Nigerians. Our candidate has been consistent on the need to liberalize the oil and gas sector by allowing private investors to engage actively in that sector while his administration will provide the enabling environment that will allow business to thrive. Atiku is the only candidate that has the political will to meet words with action and restore the required efficiency needed to make the oil and gas sector to perform transparently and optimally. ... Says His Inauguration Reactivates Better Life In Osun The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization Congratulates Governor Ademola Adeleke on his inauguration as the sixth Governor of Osun State, assuring that his inauguration sets the stage for the streak of victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which will climax on May 29, 2023 when its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will be sworn into office too. The people of Osun State are the first beneficiary of the better life which the PDP will be berthing at the national level with effect from May 29, 2023. Our campaign commends the People of Osun State for their perseverance in the last four years of pains during which their collectively hard-earned fortunes were ferried to Bourdillon by the 'Ajele'. We celebrate the People of Osun State for asserting themselves and liberating their state from the yoke of anguish, misrule and accompanying pains which the All Progressives Congress (APC) has come to represent in our nation. We urge Nigerians to reinforce the feat achieved by the people of Osun State by remaining steadfast in their resolve to vote in Atiku Abubakar in the February 2023 Presidential election. Signed: Kola Ologbondiyan Spokesperson Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organization |
The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization says with the series of disgraceful allegations of narcotic trafficking, forgery, perjury, identity crisis and certificate scam in the public space against the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he has no integrity left to hold office as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Our Campaign also describes Asiwaju Tinubu as the drained, disconnected, blundering and day-dreaming aspirant who has shown a scandalous lack of energy, capacity and presence of mind to stand the rigours of a Presidential campaign, let alone the demands of the office of Mr President. The Atiku Campaign describes as laughable that Asiwaju Tinubu, who cannot comprehend current political dynamics or articulate any meaningful conversation within the demands of the contemporary Nigeria, is asking others to go home and rest when such is an advice he ought to give to himself. Nigerians are in agreement that if there is any Presidential Candidate that must go home and rest as demanded by Asiwaju Tinubu, it is Tinubu himself who has been reported as requiring support to stand, whose speeches are grossly incoherent and who has become the butt of weird jokes among Nigerians for his many blunders. Moreover, Asiwaju Tinubu cannot face Nigerians and the International Community having forfeited a whopping sum of $460,000 to the United States of America. The least an individual with such record should do is to go home and rest because Nigerians will not have such a person as President. Is it not pathetic that Tinubu that needed to forcefully lock all markets in the entire Lagos State to get a motley of crew to attend a rancorous rally is contemplating winning a Presidential election in Nigeria? Our Campaign counsels Asiwaju Tinubu to accept the reality that an overwhelming majority of Nigerians have already reached a consensus on electing the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, giving his energy, competence, capacity, will power and understanding of the issues troubling our nation as well as his readiness to provide the solutions. Nigerians already know that Asiwaju Tinubu is full of frustration and jealousy for Atiku, but resorting to insults instead of activating any forms of issue-based campaign will not help him. November 24, 2022 Press Statement 2023: APC's Rejection of BVAS, IReV Confirms it Has No Genuine Followership, Says Atiku Campaign The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organisation says that the rejection of electronic transmission of results through the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) and INEC Election Result Viewing portal (IReV) by the All Progressives Congress (APC) confirms that the APC and its Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, do not have genuine followership among Nigerians ahead of the 2023 elections. The Atiku Campaign maintains that the APC has realized that given its mass failures across the spectrum of our polity, it does not enjoy the support of Nigerians and as such is scared of any process that will deliver a credible balloting in the elections. APC's mortal fear of mass rejection at the polls is directly behind its unnecessary tantrums against the electronic transmission of results. It is abundantly clear that the APC’s plan is to return our electoral process to the days of mass rigging through the use Incidence Forms, ballot box snatching, ballot stuffing and other electoral malpractices. Having become frustrated because of the introduction of technology to improve the electoral process, the APC is seeking ways to manipulate the elections to enable it to re-enact the horrible electoral seasons of its devious act of holding electoral officers by their jugulars and forcing them to write results for APC candidates. The APC will desire to deploy the use of armed helicopters in order to chase away Nigerians from their polling stations so as to write results and force same on INEC officials. The Atiku/Okowa Campaign urges Nigerians to remain vigilant on the decision reached by INEC to promote the integrity of our electoral process. The only option left for the APC is to accept the reality of its rejection and quietly fizzle away from our political firmament. After all, the APC has since lost the statutory integrity to field candidates in the 2023 general elections due to its illegal and unconstitutional congresses. Signed: Kola Ologbondiyan Spokesperson Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organization |
The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organisation commends the South-South Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for pulling together in support of the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. The commendation is coming on the heels of the meeting of Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri, Akwa Ibom State Governor and Chairman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Udom Emmanuel, their Delta State counterpart and PDP Vice Presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa as well as the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki held in Bayelsa to restate their unwavering support for the PDP Presidential residential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar. The Campaign commends the readiness of the governors to work assiduously and deliver the votes of the South-south geo-political zone to the PDP in the 2023 general elections. Our campaign also urges the South-South governors not to relent in bringing all their brother-governors on board irrespective of their political affiliations. November 19, 2022 Press Statement 2023: Don't Bother about Run-off, Atiku Will Win at the First Ballot , Campaign Assures INEC The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organisation has assured the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to bother itself with any preparation for a run off in the 2023 Presidential election as the Presidential Candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, will win at the first ballot. Our campaign counsels INEC not to listen to diversionary narratives by apologists of the deflated All Progressives Congress (APC) who are ostensibly seeking ways to derail the election, having realized that their Party has been rejected. The campaign urges INEC to deploy its resources towards conducting a free, fair, transparent and credible election that will be generally accepted by majority of Nigerians. Our campaign is confident that by every indices and data available, our Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will win the Presidential election of February 25, 2023 at the first run. The APC has seen defeat ahead as Nigerians are quickly reaching a consensus on the fact that the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is not electable. We urge Nigerians to remain resolute in their determination to vote in their choice, Atiku Abubakar, and take every step necessary within the ambit of the law to protect their votes. $460,000 forfeiture: Probe allegations before joining Tinubu’s campaign, PDPPCC tells Buhari ***says claims may taint President's integrity Barely 24 hours to the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign in Jos, Plateau State, President Muhammadu Buhari, has been advised not to join the trail without first investigating the circumstances surrounding the forfeiture to the United States government of the sum of $460,000 by the flag bearer of the party, Bola Tinubu. The advice was given by the Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organisation who reasoned that if the allegations of narcotic involvement were proved to be true in the end, it will impugn on the President's integrity. President Buhari is expected to grace the Jos rally to lead the campaign for the ruling party's candidate. The spokesman of the campaign organization, Kola Ologbondiyan, who gave this admonition in a phone chat on Monday, recalled that the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, who is also the spokesman of the APC Presidential Campaign, had admitted that there was a forfeiture of money by Tinubu even though he linked it to tax issues. According to the Campaignorganization, whether the forfeiture was linked to drugs or tax, there was no doubt money was taken from Tinubu’s account. The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization therefore noted that given the implications that might follow, the right thing to do is for President Buhari to probe the allegations before presenting Tinubu to Nigerians. The campaign organization maintained: "There are suggestions in public space that President Muhammadu Buhari should distance himself from the candidate of their party on the ground that it can rubbish whatever integrity is left of President Muhammadu Buhari. "So, the natural expectation being that the government of President Buhari can go and even investigate the allegation against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the sense that a serving minister in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari who is also the spokesperson of the campaign organization of Bola Tinubu had already admitted the fact that there was forfeiture. But he said it was a taxation. "So, whichever way you look at it, money believed to belong to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was taken out of his account, a whopping sum of $460,000. There’s no argument of any sort. "And as we speak now, there are also report in public space Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu claimed to have worked in Deloitte. But there are reports now that Deloitte has denied the fact that he ever worked with them. "So, I believe that all this needs to be investigated by President Muhammadu Buhari before he begins to go round to present Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a candidate. "Because if at the end of the day he doesn’t carry out a proper investigation and all the issues that are in public space come out to be real, how is he going to run away from it? Or how is he going to run away from them?" The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization warned that with just a few months left in his tenure, President Buhari should not to allow himself to be dragged into any drug controversy. "You don’t expect a President Buhari who was elected into office on account of his integrity to go and support a candidate who is being alleged to have forfeited money to the United States government on grounds of alleged link to drug issues. "You don’t expect a president who is leaving office, who has how many months to leave office to be dragged into a drug cartel. These issues of drug cartel, these are implications that might arise," the campaign organization declared. Recall that following the recent receipt of a certified true copy of the US order to forfeit the amount, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had hinted that it may approach the court to determine if his participation in the 2023 poll will not violate the Constitution and Electoral Act. The National Publicity Secretary of the main opposition party, Debo Ologunagba, who addressed a press conference on the issue in Abuja on Sunday, disclosed that the party is keeping its options open. The party spokesman, who was fielding questions, on the attempt by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to distance itself from the case that emanated from a court in Chicago, Illinois, had been asked whether it will head to court should the electoral body fail to act. He said: "We are very hopeful. What we decide to do as a party, we don't consult you, we don't tell you. When we started the case against Osun, we didn't tell you, right? "So, we will look at the issue and take decisions and actions based on the exigencies of the times, the requirement and the need to protect our constitution and our electoral process. So, you leave that us." Speaking specifically on a possible court challenge, Ologunagba, stated: "Every option is on the table. And so, I will leave it like that." He debunked insinuation that a court in the United States is not of competent jurisdiction, explaining that countries are encouraged to domesticate international conventions which Nigeria is signatory, and such has led to local laws including the one money laundering. "Second, trafficking in narcotic is one of such. That's why we have the NDLEA and other agencies of government to enforce that because they have been domesticated, they are international conventions. "Those crimes are described as international crimes to which every member state of the United Nations is a signatory and they are obligated to be like. "And our constitution is also clear about that. It talks about court or tribunal in Nigeria and it says 'by any court or any other court' which by my interpretation and by extension of this constitution, is any other court that is consistent with those international conventions and international crimes. "We will study it and any appropriate action that needs to be taken, it will be taken. Like I said to you, every option is on the table," he declared as he read from the proceedings of the court suggesting an indictment. Reading from a prepared text earlier, the PDP spokesman, said: "It is no longer news that the Presidential Candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is irredeemably and hopelessly ineligible to contest the February 2023 Presidential election having been reportedly indicted and subjected to criminal forfeiture judgement for a narcotic related offence by a United States Court in Northern Illinois. "Nigerians are however appalled by the lame attempt by the APC Presidential Campaign which, after admitting that there was a $460,000 drug money criminal forfeiture judgment against accounts traced to the APC Presidential Candidate, is now desperately trying to pull a wool over the eyes of the Nigerians people and our democracy institutions. "Seeing that it is technically out of the Presidential contest and further distraught because it cannot also field candidates at all levels in the 2023 general elections due to its illegal and unconstitutional congresses, the APC has resorted to unleashing hoodlums to attack PDP Presidential Campaign rallies and other innocent Nigerians going about their legitimate endeavors as witnessed in Kaduna and Borno States, in a bid to trigger crisis and scuttle the elections. "There are already apprehensions in the public space of unrefuted allegations that the APC is behind the orchestrated attacks on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) offices in Ogun and Osun States. "The plan of the APC is to instill fear in the citizenry, disorganize and weaken other political parties, frighten, hamstring and immobilize INEC from conducting the 2023 general elections. "The APC must note that its schemes, denials, threats and resort to violence cannot help Asiwaju Tinubu. By the provision of Section 137 (1) (d) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) Asiwaju Tinubu is not eligible to contest the Presidential election in Nigeria. "Section 137 (1) (d) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) provides that 1) A person shall not be qualified for election to the office of President if: (d) He is under a sentence of death imposed by any competent court of law or tribunal in Nigeria or a sentence of imprisonment or fine for any offence involving dishonesty or fraud (by whatever name called) or for any other offence, imposed on him by ANY COURT or tribunal or substituted by a competent authority for any other sentence imposed on him by such a court or tribunal. "For clarity, forfeiture is means “something to which the right is lost as for commission of a crime or misdeed, neglect of duty, or violation of a contract” "It is instructive to note that trafficking in narcotic is an international crime to which all nations are obliged and mandated to apprehend, prosecute and enforce any judgment or Court Order imposed on offender. Nigeria being a signatory to international convention on trafficking in narcotic is obliged to enforce any Order or judgement imposed on any offender by a competent court ANYWHERE in the world. "For emphasis the US Court “Ordered that the funds in the amount of $460,000 in account 263226700 held by First Heritage Bank in the name of Bola Tinubu represent proceeds of narcotics trafficking or were involved in financial transactions in violation of 18 U.S.C. S1956 and 1957 and therefore these funds are forfeited to the United States pursuant to 21 U.S.C. S881(a)(6) and 18 U.S.C S981' "Having been sentenced and fined by way of criminal forfeiture of $460,000 drug money in a criminal suit filed pursuant to the United States Criminal Code, Asiwaju Tinubu cannot by virtue of Section 137 (1)(d) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) seek office as President of Nigeria." November 13, 2022 Press Statement Stop Hiding Behind A Finger, Respond to Allegations of Forfeiture of $460,000 to the US- Atiku/Okowa Campaign Tasks Tinubu The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organisation tasks the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to come out boldly and defend his reported link to the whopping sum of $460,000 he forfeited to the United States rather than hiding behind a finger and sending his media aides to attack other Nigerians. Our campaign insists that the burden before Asiwaju Tinubu is to cleanse himself of being linked to illicit funds by a court in the United States rather than searching for scapegoats and pointing index finger on others whereas the remaining are pointing to his direction. Is it not absurd that rather than proving his innocence by personally telling Nigerians the truth about the forfeiture judgment, Asiwaju Tinubu is allowing his aides, who were not principal witnesses in the crime, to issue threats and vituperations on Nigerians? This accounts for why the campaign is singing discordant tunes on taxation while Asiwaju Tinubu himself is labouring to dismiss the case as "a rumour." This is very laughable! Our campaign wants Asiwaju Tinubu to know that Nigerians are still waiting for him to address the very serious issue of alleged link with narcotics for which a forfeiture judgment was imposed on him. Signed: Kola Ologbondiyan Spokesperson, Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organisation |
Drug Cartel: Atiku/Okowa Campaign Dismisses Tinubu Alibi, Says Forfeiture Establishes Link to Drug Money The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization after a review of issues arising from the linking of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to a drug cartel and surmised that the forfeiture of $460,000 by Tinubu to the authorities of the United States of America establishes a connection to drug money. Campaign maintains that our nation can not afford allowing a candidate with the remotest link to a drug cartel near the Presidential Villa. We insist that the mention of Tinubu’s name in a crime bordering on drugs and consequent upon which some monies were forfeited raises a moral question and issues of security threat. How for instance will the nation cope with a President who will consistently be blackmailed by a drug cartel? It is also disturbing that Asiwaju minders are running around an ocean of excuses from where they have been fetching what they believe will convince Nigerians. It is deductible that the $460,000 removed from the account represented the illicit fund that accrued from the drug. That accounts for the reason why no other sum was removed from the account contrary to argument from Tinubu’s minders that the amount represented a tax. But if indeed, like his minders have said, Tinubu “took responsibility” for drugs money, it goes with saying that he must also take responsibility for the consequences of that action. |

8th November 2022 Press Release Gov. Udom Emmanuel Never Contemplated Resigning As Chairman of PDP Presidential Campaign Council– Atiku/Okowa Campaign The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization states that the rumour being bandied to suggest that the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, resigned or contemplated to resign his appointment as the Chairman of the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council is fake news. Our Campaign assures Nigerians as well as all pro-democracy and development partners that such idea is not in the contemplation of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Emmanuel. Governor Udom Emmanuel, this afternoon at the Flag-off of the PDP Governorship Campaign which held at the Nest of Champions Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State Capital, declared that the rumour is a lie “from the pit of hell” and that he remains the Chairman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council. The appointment of Governor Udom Emmanuel as Chairman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council was predicated on his belief and commitment to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the ideals of our founding fathers as well as his unwavering confidence in our Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, as the leader that has the required capacity to lead the charge to rescue and rebuild our nation. Governor Emmanuel is effectively and committedly leading a successful campaign that will take our Party to victory and will not be distracted by the wishful thinking of the enemies of Nigeria. The Atiku/Okowa Campaign therefore urges Nigerians to ignore such shenanigans and fake news coming from the enemies of our nation who are desirous of causing confusion in the polity with a view to derailing the electoral process. We caution those behind this wicked rumour to desist from such and know that they are fighting a lost battle as Nigerians across board are already rallying with the PDP and cannot be swayed by fake news. 7th November 2022 Press Release …Says APC Candidates Afraid to Face Nigerians The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization mocks the Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Sen. Kashim Shettima for running away from national debates for fear of facing probing questions from Nigerians. Asiwaju Tinubu has a record of avoiding debates and public interrogations following a mortal fear that Nigerians will put him to task on his alleged stinking corruption record, reported proxy treasury looting, obvious incompetence, ethnic bigotry as well as his alleged masterminding of APC’s anti-people policies that wrecked our nation in the last seven and half years. The APC Presidential Candidate and his running mate cannot face debates for fears of having Tinubu’s claims of building Lagos State publicly exposed as a hoax as he cannot point to any legacy development project he achieved in the State as Governor. Asiwaju Tinubu is also aware that he cannot face the public to answer questions bordering on his past, particularly the question on his ancestry, the Alpha-Beta tax saga; as well as his alleged stranglehold on the business, politics and lives of Lagosians from 1999 till date. He is afraid of being exposed of fleecing Lagos State for eight years through multiple and harsh tax regimes with nothing to show other than rulership by brawl, breeding of touts and raising criminal street gangs, only to turn around now to attempt to claim the achievements of succeeding governors as his. Nigerians will recall that the APC Presidential Candidate did not attend the signing of the National Peace Accord in Abuja; he failed to turn up at Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industries, he avoided the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Conference and shunned the televized debate organized by credible media houses and Civil Society groups in Abuja on Sunday to attend a marriage bash in the same nation’s capital. Is it not strange that Tinubu, who claims to be a progressive, is dodging debate, a hallmark of progressivism? Asiwaju Tinubu and Kashim Shettima have turned themselves into a butt of public joke over their reported inability to even defend the scripts that were written for them with spurious claims and litany of fake promises which Nigerians have appropriately tagged as ‘Renewed Hopelessness’. Moreover, it is apparent that the APC Presidential Candidate could not detail his running mate to represent him at the Abuja debate ostensibly because of Sen. Shettima’s abysmal performance at the last Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industries outing. Besides, the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign is challenged to come clean on allegations in the public domain that Shettima is avoiding the debates for fear of awaiting probing questions on the alleged compromising of security as Governor of Borno State during which about 270 students were abducted in Chibok. Also, under his watch as Governor, there are unanswered questions over series of deadly terrorism attacks in the Borno State. Is Sen. Shettima afraid of explaining to Nigerians why his government did not heed to the alleged security warning and directive by the Federal Government to relocate the schoolgirls to a safer location which would have averted the abduction? In shunning public debates, both Tinubu and Shettima have shown that they have nothing to offer and that they are in the Presidential race just for personal aggrandisement and not to serve Nigerians. On the other hand, Nigerians are celebrating the dazzling performance of the PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar and Vice-Presidential Candidate, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, in public debates, media interviews and Townhall meeting where, in readiness to take over the reign of power in May 29, 2023, they have given excellent answers to questions and proffered practicable solutions to the myriads of problems brought to our nation by the APC. You moved to Europe few years later in 2011 - let's say you moved to Europe 5 years after meeting him... that means his first child will be 8 years old. 2022 is 11 years later, it means the first child will be 23 years old. A 23 year old male is already a man and there is high possibility that he is done with schooling. Also a man that sponsored you abroad in 2011 cannot be extremely poor that he can't afford good education for his kid. See your story is fabricated, e no make sense |

October 28, 2022 Press Statement 2023: Atiku/ Okowa Campaign Punctures, Dismisses Fitch Report on Tinubu The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization has dismissed as speculative a report credited to Fitch Ratings and peddled by the Tinubu Campaign Organization conjecturing an unsupported direction for the 2023 Presidential election. From all analysis, the said report is merely contrived, imaginary and completely illusory; It is a trivial opinion of ignorant interlopers which does not conform with any empirical or substantiated indicators regarding the direction of the 2023 Presidential election in Nigeria While we do not want to conclude on the opinion already widely held in the public space that the report was procured or not emanating officially from Fitch, especially, given the desperation and devious antecedents of the Tinubu Campaign Organization and the All Progressives Congress (APC), it is however important to state that these conjectures are direct opposite of the reality on ground. It is important to note that the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has no electoral fighting chance before the PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa. Contrary to the report being peddled by the APC, Asiwaju Tinubu is battling with trust issues, stamina concerns, massive open rejection by majority of voters across the country, mass exodus from his APC into PDP due to the abysmal failures of his party in addition to his (Asiwaju’s) self-confessed selfish motives for being in the Presidential race. In reality, unlike Atiku Abubakar, Asiwaju Tinubu has no strong, organic and reliable political base anywhere in the country and cannot get the required 25% in majority of the States of the federation. Across the north, the APC Presidential Candidate does not have a stable political structure with the daily decamping of hordes of Nigerians in the region who voted for President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 and 2019 now crossing over to the PDP to support Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 elections. In the south, Asiwaju Tinubu has no solid base in the South South and South East where he has been roundly rejected. Even in the South West, the former Lagos State governor has been demystified as evidenced in his party's devastating loss in the last Governorship election in Osun State; a state considered to be his ancestry home, to the PDP. Asiwaju Tinubu has been booed in States of the South West and he has lost his political allies, cultural institutions and foot soldiers in Lagos State and other parts of the South West because of his selfish posturing and trust issues. Moreover, the APC Presidential Candidate has not demonstrated the desired capacity, experience, stamina as well as selfless disposition to lead a nation like Nigeria. The reality of the 2023 Presidential elections is that the PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar has the highest organic followership cutting across all demographies like age, class, ethnic, sectional and even political affiliations in the country as Nigerians believe in his proven capacity, competence, experience, readiness and will power to lead our nation at this point. Nigerians should therefore disregard the said Fitch Report as it does not reflect the reality of the 2023 Presidential election in Nigeria.
