PoliticsTinubu Has No Record Of Keeping Promises by brutustech(op): 6:51pm On Oct 23, 2022
October 23, 2022

Press Statement

Tinubu Has No Record of Keeping Promises

The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization has told the people of Kano State to disregard the fluke promises made to them by the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as Tinubu and the APC are not known to keep their words.

The Atiku Campaign however said its Candidate, Atiku Abubakar and running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, are promise keepers who had always and will continue to fulfill all the promises they have made to Nigerians.

Dismissing Tinubu's assertion on giving Nigerians 100 percent of his time, Atiku Campaign pointed out that Asiwaju Tinubu has proven to be unreliable and unavailable for governance as he has been spending his optimal time out of the country for undisclosed reasons.

On the other hand, the PDP Presidential Candidate is a full time personality both in words and actions as he has demonstrated in and out of office.

The people of Kano have not forgotten all the fake promises made to Nigerians by the APC, where Asiwaju is National Leader, including bringing the naira to the same value with the US dollar, building one refinery each for the first four years of President Muhammadu Buhari 's administration; giving loans to undergraduate students and paying N5000 to aged men and women.

Atiku Campaign noted that almost eight years down the tenure, not the littlest of these promises has been fulfilled.

Continuing, the Atiku Campaign said it is heart-rending that Tinubu can return to Kano to release another set of fake promises whereas his campaign covenant of 2015 and 2019 are like water poured into a basket.

We are not surprised that Tinubu is only making token promises without detailing how they will be achieved. He wants to boost agriculture and link international markets with commodity without addressing the troubling issue of insecurity, which is primal on Atiku Abubakar's list.

Tinubu has failed to provide solutions to rising costs and the exponential inflation which the APC that he leads has caused our nation.

Nigerians must be cautious of beguilers and rent-seekers who are now showboating as managerial experts.

The question which Tinubu needs to answer is why did he not make his sweetcoated solutions to our national challenges to President Muhammadu Buhari in the last seven years?

Is Tinubu saying he deliberately railroad President Buhari to failure for his personal interest?

PoliticsTinubu's Empty Streets Of Kano, Atiku's Huge Support Signpost Of APC Extinction by brutustech(op): 5:51pm On Oct 23, 2022
Tinubu's Empty Streets of Kano, Atiku's Huge Support in Edo, Niger, Katsina Signpost APC’s Extinction in 2023

Spokesperson of Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization, Kola Ologbondiyan, asserts that the empty streets that stared at the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Kano, at the weekend, signposts the road to extinction for the APC ahead of the 2023 election.

On the other hand, Ologbondiyan said the huge crowd of Nigerians that received the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, at his campaign rally in Benin, Edo State, as well as the two separate rallies held in Bida and Jibia in Niger and Katsina States respectfully, are manifest proofs that Nigerians are resolute in voting for Atiku Abubakar as the next President of Nigeria come February 25, 2023.

Ologbondiyan observed that the “thoughtless display of opulence” by the APC Presidential Candidate at his flopped Kano visit was completely repugnant and offensive to the people of Kano State, who cannot be swayed by pointless material showboating.

He advised Asiwaju Tinubu to immediately apologize and rescind from such trips and actions.

“Nigerians in Kano watched in awe as a convoy of vehicles paraded the streets of Kano municipal without eliciting any attention from bystanders who went about their normal businesses.

“In a recorded video that has gone viral, one of the bystanders was heard saying; ‘God has shown them clearly that people aren't supporting them.  No one is concerned about them. It is very shameful; Kano people are not with them”

Ologbondiyan further said that unlike the APC's shameful outing in Kano, Atiku's campaign is gaining more traction across the country because of his tenacity in addressing the issues and challenges brought upon Nigerians by the APC.

"His determination to revive the economy while making the unity of our nation number one priority sits well among Nigerians.

He has also sworn to make insecurity a part of our sordid past by making State Police a plank of the security solutions he will introduce when sworn into office on May 29, 2023.

“Atiku is bringing the light to our dark side.  He is creating hope in our state of disillusionment”, Ologbondiyan said.
Politics2023: Tinubu Cannot Be Trusted With Power – Ologbondiyan by brutustech(op): 5:45pm On Oct 18, 2022
…Says Presidency Not for Selfish Entitlement Seeker

Spokesperson of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization, Kola Ologbondiyan, has said that the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, cannot and should not be trusted with power as the President, given his overtly exposed selfish motives.

Ologbondiyan asserted that from Tinubu’s persistent self-centered assertions, haughty claims, annexation and brazen entitlement messaging, which he further displayed during his interaction with stakeholders in Kaduna on Monday, it is clear that the APC Presidential Candidate is being driven by the lust to appropriate the nation as his personal estate and not for the national interest.

Nigerians watched with utter dismay as Tinubu, as usual, avoided questions and discussions on critical and imperative national issues, which confirms that he is in the Presidential race for reasons other than the wellbeing of Nigerians.

The APC Presidential Candidate has not been forthcoming on issues of transparency, accountability and answerability in government, devolution of power, state police, federal character and other key issues that will enhance democratic tenets for the benefit of Nigerians; a development that further confirms a selfish intention against the inclusive interest of our nation.

Perhaps this explains why the APC Presidential Candidate has not composed a campaign organization; a foretaste of exclusionist agenda.

Even his proposed economic policies were generalised without addressing the specific problems of galloping inflation and its attendant unbearable rising costs, unemployment, high interest rates and the abysmally low purchasing power of Nigerians.

Nigerians must therefore resist such tendencies as any government built on what the APC Presidential Candidate ostensibly represents will amount to creating a fiefdom for a self-conceited ruler over our nation.

Never in our national history have Nigerians seen a politician with this level of self-entitlement.

It is laughable that since he became the APC Presidential Candidate, Tinubu has sought for endorsement under every guise forgetting that 2023 election is a referendum against the mass failures of the APC in governance.

Nigerians must note that it will be a disaster for our country, Nigeria, if we allow a Presidential Candidate that will 'alphabetize' our revenue generating agencies such as Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS), Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Plc among others to take over the reign òf governance.
PoliticsAtiku's Popularity Has Sent Opponents Into Panic Mode - Ologbondiyan by brutustech(op): 6:06pm On Oct 17, 2022
The spokesperson of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization, Kola Ologbondiyan, has said that the overwhelming acceptance of the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, as recorded again at the Kaduna rally, has thrown his opponents into panic mode.

The opponents who have now resort to sending armed thugs to disrupt PDP's campaigns in Kaduna as well as the closure of media organizations in Zamfara State are displaying their fears over the acceptance of Atiku Abubakar and his laid out plans for Nigerians ahead of 2023 elections.

It is on record that Atiku Abubakar remains the only candidate who has taken his message of hope to five (5) out of six (6) geo- political zones and, who has received huge turn-out at every port of call so far.

Some of the presidential candidates like that of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, are yet to compose their campaign organization in a manner that will enable them to engage constructively with the Atiku campaign and Nigerians.

It is important for Nigerians to note that the APC and its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, have nothing to offer other than their records of failures for the past seven (7) years.

That accounts for their inability to kickstart their campaigns as well as their resort to campaign of calumny, intimidation and violence.

The APC Presidential Candidate should know that these shenanigans cannot stop the resolve of the people to vote out the APC and elect the pan-Nigerian and unifier, Atiku Abubakar.

Certainly, Nigerians will not support a leader who wants to turn a rotten situation to a bad one.
PoliticsAtiku/okowa Will End Anguish, Pains And Deprivation by brutustech(op): 7:21pm On Oct 12, 2022
The Spokesperson, Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign, Kola Ologbondiyan, has assured Nigerians that the anguish and pains they are currently facing under the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration will come to an end on May 29, 2023, when Atiku Abubakar is sworn in as President.

Ologbondiyan, who stated this while interacting with some PDP youths in Abuja, on Wednesday, said the PDP and its Presidential flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar, are very concerned about the pains and sufferings the APC has imposed on Nigerians in the last seven years.

He said the mammoth crowd that received Atiku Abubakar in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State as well as other venues of PDP Presidential campaign is a pointer to the acceptance of the Atiku/Okowa Presidency ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

"Among the arrays of Presidential Candidates, only Atiku Abubakar has the practicable plan on how to end the pains, the hunger, the starvation, the economic woes, the lower purchasing power and the sense of hopelessness which the APC administration has brought upon Nigerians.

"Atiku Abubakar has the experience of office, unlike the learners on parade, having been the Chairman of the National Economic Council. Nigerians can recall that those years, between 1999-2007, were the glorious years of our nation when we achieved unprecedented economic growth.

"In those years that Presidents elected on the platform of the PDP governed, life had meaning as our naira had value against competing foreign denominations; purchasing power was high; teachers had access to repayable loans and could build comfortable accommodation while those who desired to buy cars could afford them," he added.

Ologbondiyan charged Nigerians not to return those who, within a space of seven years, dragged our country from the “Top to the Bottom” among the comity of nations. He urged Nigerians to continue to rally with the PDP and Atiku/Okowa ticket adding that only such “presents the solution to the myriads of challenges confronting our nation today.”
PoliticsN122m Scandal: Ex-PDP Spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan Makes Revelations by brutustech(op): 1:28pm On Sep 30, 2022
The immediate past National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, has reacted to the return of funds by some members of the National Working Committee allegedly paid into their accounts by the National Chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu, saying the money was legitimately earned and that it has been the practice in the party.

The former spokesman disclosed this while fielding questions on the Arise TV morning Show program on Friday.

Recall that at least six of 19 members of the NWC had returned funds paid into their accounts after alleged approval by Ayu.

The amounts range from N28.8million to N36million, depending on the recipient’s position.

Those who have refunded included Taofeek Arapaja, Deputy National Chairman South; Stella Effah-Attoe, National Woman Leader; Dan Orbih, National Vice Chairman, South-South.

Others were Alli Odefa, National Vice Chairman, South-East, Olasoji Adagunobi-Oluwatukesi, National Vice Chairman, South-West; Setonji Koshoedo, Deputy National.

The development is said to have unsettled the PDP top hierarchy, including the camp of the presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who see the unfolding events as not good for the party, especially with the commencement of campaigns.

But speaking on the issue, Ologbondiyan said it had been the practice in the PDP to pay members of the NWC allowances as they do not receive monthly salaries.

There is no way this issue that we are discussing now would not have been debated, going by experience, in the National Working Committee, with minutes taken, and it will be agreeable to all members of the NWC what each member is going to get.

“So it is totally strange that people are talking about money legitimately earned as if it is a bribe. I will be surprised if any member of the NWC comes up to say that the issue was not discussed at the committee; that there was no agreement in the committee.
PoliticsAtiku Embodies The Hope Of Nigerians, Has Highest Followership - Ologobondiyan by brutustech(op): 10:13pm On Sep 26, 2022
2023: Atiku Embodies the Hope of Nigerians, Has Highest Followership Across the Country - Ologbondiyan

Immediate past National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) asserts that the Party’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, embodies the hope and aspiration of Nigerians for a New Order in the country.

Ologbondiyan, in an interactive session with journalists on Monday stressed that Atiku Abubakar stands out as the “Presidential candidate who best understands the nuances of our country and who is endowed with the required experience, capacity, presence of mind as well as the national acceptance needed to move the nation forward.

The former PDP spokesman who disclosed that he has been touring various parts of the country to gauge the disposition of voters, stated that most Nigerians across the divides strongly believe in Atiku Abubakar as the desired leader to salvage and move our nation forward.

“I am not talking of social media or computer-generated indices here. I am talking of organic followership and raw data from the field which will reflect as we go into the elections.

“In the last couple of months, I have visited various parts of the country to gauge the feelings and disposition of Nigerians towards the 2023 Presidential Election.  I have visited the six geo-political zones and listened to Nigerians, including leaders of thought and especially the youths.

“I can report to you that an overwhelming majority of Nigerians, irrespective of ethnicity, region, religion and age, identify with Atiku Abubakar in confidence that he is the Presidential candidate with the proven capacity, and required nationalistic willpower to unite the nation, revamp our national economy, revive infrastructural decay and guarantee security of lives and property in our country.

“Without prejudice to regional, ethnic and religious sentiment, Nigerians are united in their desire for a leader they can trust; a leader that can unite our nation and not a regional champion; a leader that has the capacity to revamp the economy, a leader who has the patriotic resolve to secure lives and property in the country.

"Already, there is an emerging national consensus that only Atiku Abubakar meets these criteria.

“Nigerians are convinced that Atiku Abubakar is the only candidate among the rank of Presidential aspirants who has the practicable solutions for our challenges as a nation, including issues of national unity, reducing high cost of governance, education, health care, revamping of the economy by providing stimulus for the informal sector among others," Ologbondiyan stated.

He said Nigerians are rallying with Atiku Abubakar because of his Pan Nigerians stance; his humane and accommodating outlook as well as his track record of performance, especially as the head of the National Economic Team between 1999 and 2007, which represents the golden days of Nigerian economy and national polity.

Ologbondiyan lamented that the last seven years of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration have been replete with tales of terrorism, mass killings, anguish, pains and untold hardship adding that the nation cannot survive if the APC is allowed to remain in office a day beyond May 29, 2023.

He therefore urged all leaders of the PDP to unite and join forces with Nigerians “to end APC’s vicious stranglehold on the nation and usher in a New Order under Atiku Abubakar so as to return our nation to the path of peace, stability and economic prosperity”

PoliticsINC: Foremost Ijaw Group, INDG, Congratulates Prof Okaba, Assures Him Of Support by brutustech(op): 6:57pm On Jun 11, 2021
The Ijaw National Development Group/Ijaw Peoples Assembly, leading Ijaw group, has congratulated Professor Benjamin Okaba on his emergence as the President of the Ijaw National Congress.

The INDG message was made known through a statement that was jointly singed by its President, Benjamin Nanaghan, and its Secretary, Dortimi Kester, on Thursday.

The group’s congratulatory statement can br seen below;

“The President,
Ijaw National Congress,
Ijaw House,
Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

On behalf of the Ijaw National Development Group/Ijaw Peoples’ Assembly (INDG/IPA), we wish to congratulate you and your fully studded Management Team on your globally acclaimed victory as the President of the Ijaw National Congress, the inauguration which took place on the 14th May, 2021.

The Ijaw Nation has elected you not because of your professorial laurels or academic excellence; rather, among the many likely favourable reasons, your “Ijawpatriotism” is indisputably at the core of Ijaw people’s choice for you to lead them at this challenging times of our national history.

Pls remember Sir, that this victory we now savour is not for you alone but for the hapless, deprived and neglected Ijaws in the Niger Delta and the furthermost helms around the globe. The Ijaws have been robbed and are still being robbed of their land, their wealth, their fauna and flora, their right to safe and sustainable environment and of mineral resources that God has bequeathed to them. And with the recent award of the Marginal Oil Fields while the matter is pending before a court of competent jurisdiction is a clear further attempt to emasculate and enslave the Ijaw Nation by the Federal Government and it’s Agencies. It is an unmitigated travesty of justice to undertake the award of 23 Oil Blocks of Marginal Oil Fields without first commissioning a clear plan for the remediation of the already damaged environment resulting from the inhuman processes and activities of oil and gas exploration.

We salute your courage in accepting this daunting and herculean responsibility. We on our part in the Ijaw National Development Group/Ijaw Peoples’ Assembly promise to support you at all fronts as we together craft our own Bill of Rights to liberate ourselves from this excruciating pangs of man’s inhumanity to man.

Ijaw National Development Group/Ijaw Peoples’ Assembly was formed by our Convener Mr. Dennis T. Banigo in October 2017 with broadened scope and objectives to include an organizational structure that defines more clearly the cultural identity, heritage and mores of the Ijaw Nation. We aspire to strengthen, deepen and broaden the routes to finding answers to the Ijaw question to achieve economic integration and freedom for the Ijaw wo/man anywhere they live in the universe.

Mr. President of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), we of the Ijaw National Development Group/Ijaw Peoples’ Assembly are ready to work in sync and in fullest cooperation with you to lift the Ijaw Nation to its glorious position in the comity of states and nations. We look forward to your re-subscription to membership of INDG, please.

Thank you Sir and God bless Ijaw Nation.
