Op, I don't know if u are a culprit but lots of people I know leave their Google auto back up on. This will back up all their pictures to the cloud and it eats a lot of data. It becomes very obvious when u have not subscribed for a while and have taken lots of pictures. The moment u subscribe it will start backing up all those pictures and before u know it ur data is gone.
