I've noticed that northerners hardly comment on nairaland....

Imagine Ghana and Nigeria were forced to be a country, that's the issue with nigeria.

The cold war between igbos and Yoruba's is born out of a forced marriage called nigeria. Igbos and Yoruba's may tolerate each other but it doesn't equate mutual respect. Both tribe share almost nothing in common except for their skin color and prior to the 1700s never inter mingled with each other. But for the sake of practicality and necessity it's important they unite politically on a regional front to push for restructuring with their counterparts in the SS/NC. In the long run I believe that a healthy competition between these tribes will spur africa to greatness.

Straight to the point.....most people know me as a core supporter of any candidate from my region(SW), but the declaration of wike changes things; If truly he plans on running for president, he has my vote because people may say that he's unrefined and brash but I honestly think that he's the leader the south needs to support for presidency, the south needs a strong male leader that would be able to put his feet down and take decisions. Osinbanjo is my first choice but he's too soft and liberal, tinubu also another good candidate but realistically speaking I don't see how a muslim Muslim ticket would work(same with fashola), ameachi will end up being the puppet of the caliphate, and individuals like Peter Obi and dele momodu are just marking attendance. Wike is a no nonsense man that would be quick to deal with bandits and their sponsors in the north and ones in the south, He has also done well in terms of infrastructure in his state hopefully this would be replicated at a federal level. My thoughts.

Well logically speaking you can't say hell is imaginary simply because you don't know if it exists, it would be like saying a certain Individual doesn't exist because you've never met or seen him/her. Anyways I envy and respect your conviction, but I don't think I can conquer that fear or rule out that possiblity of hell.....atleast for now.
