DEMZEE: Chisos so why do they have legal team that are defending the credibility of their election win They are not in court defending against trump's baseless allegations. They don't even need to since trump is doing a lousy job all by himself. They are there to look and see mostly, to keep the judges on their legal toes if anything. Being prudent, I'd say. |

demmymoney: You don't have to be an idiot to realize the rallies had thousands of Trump supporters and Biden only had 10 or 20 people. Look at the numbers of followers on social media. You'd have to be braindead though to not realise votes were not cast at rallies and followers don't equal votes. Good thing is many magas thought it would be so never bothered post voting, the poor wailing sods. |

Christianity Etc › Re: You Cannot Pray In Jesus Name To Amen. by budaatum: 11:56am On Nov 25, 2020 |
Amujale: Jesus is a fictitious character that never existed, whilst Amen is an African God.
Now, can you now see why it doesn’t make sense to pray in Jesus name to Amen? It makes complete sense actually, but first. In Yoruba culture we say "ami" when we pray to Sango and Ogun and Olodumare etc, none of which are related to Jesus. The Greeks had Zeus Ammon, and the Romans were given Jupiter Ammon both before Christ. Effectively, Jesus has had the supremacy of Amen imposed on him as we read in the Bible where it is written the Lord said, ""Out of Egypt have I called my son", in fulfilment of Hosea's prophecy. The fact many mention Amun the Obscure One at the end of their prayers is a reminder of Amun's one time supremacy in the god pantheon and insurance Amun is forever remembered.

Amujale: Democracy is a failed experiment by two counts.
In theorey, it's been proven that Democracy is a failed experiment.
In practice, I cannot talk for any other people but myself.
Democracy is a failed experiment. There you go again asking us to believe your baseless assertions. Amujale: Due to the fact that there's currently no way in any of the forms of Democracy that exist out there today that is able to prevent the huge gulf between the super wealthy and the rest of us. 1% own all the wealth and the rest of us have to make does with the remainder Democracy never claimed it will "prevent the huge gulf between the super wealthy and the rest of us". Democracy is simply a system of electing into powers of government those the majority prefer. If you don't like the fact that "1% own all the wealth and the rest of us have to make does with the remainder" (which is not democracies fault since you'd find its the same in non-democratic China, Russia, Saudi Arabia and throughout the history of Nigeria), then organise and get voted into power those who would change it or kindly present a better system of choosing leaders. Your assertions just don't cut. |

AmazonTopaz: Trump is a cancer to the GOP whom should never have been the nominee in 2016
I read tweets and stories from parler by Trump supporters who are planning to invade the GOP in their own word "cause an insurgence" in the party the far right will take over from the moderatea just watch and see.
Especially with the way many of them stayed silent and aided Trump even after his loss some are still egging him it goes to show you how Trump changed the party in 4 years.
I won't be surprised if the likes of Romney,Murkowski and Collins not seek reelection again and leave the GOP politics.
Never Trumpers and some independents leaning Gop that voted for Biden will find it hard to return to the party they will continue voting democrat if they remain moderate or centrist. Imagine names like Carlson,Tom Cotton or even Dan Bongino being floated for 2024 LMAO Gop must learn of Corbyn's Momentum which made Labour more unelectable.

Trust you, Amujale? Why, when you've shown no reason we should apart from baseless assertions? Tell me what "our own system of government" we should focus on looks like and what "our values, our needs, our wants" are and perhaps I'd consider trusting you. Amujale: Democracy is a failed experiment.
In a way, Democracy is at the demand of a strengthy, wealthy country and at the same time the same Democracy is 'demanding' of every one else.
Assuming this system was so productive and marvelous, firstly, us would have by now seen such to be correct, but not so.
In an ideal world away from foreign extremist ideologies, our focus ought to be on the creating of our own system of government, based around our values, our needs, our wants.
Trust me, these are the ways to secure a better tomorrow for ourselves and the coming generations.
Taking this gigantic yet, subtle steps towards all that's rightfully ours; peaking the potential of a good career for every one, super competitive education, best health, best military, relative peace, these are the juicy prizes that awaits the next generation. |

Bluebyrd: How many times will I make it clear that I was only reporting on what the Trump campaign lawyers said at their press conference and that it was up to them to bring the evidence they have to the courts? So if I say that a Mr X held a press conference today and this is what he said, does that mean that I am now endorsing everything Mr X said? Some of you were even asking me to provide evidence for the things Giuliani said as if I was the one that said it. The Sidney Powell in question has even been cut off by the Trump campaign lawyers as of now. I repeat again, the people that held the press conference are Giuliani, Jenna Ellis and Sidney Powell, I only reported what they said and now it's up to them to provide their evidence before the courts. It's funny that your brain works only sometimes. You should endeavour to make it work more often. |
