And NL opens fine in other browsers too.

I've cleared NL cookies but still no show.

The "hate" feeling have got to be mutual. Just when I thought I have made a valid point you just come with your "hypotheses" and spoil my train of thought. You are hereby mandated to stop getting into my brain.

I am not a little girl. My social network regulations restrict me from stating my age.

I do read a lot but we may read different genres.

And my social life went on a sabbatical. And I bet even in its sabbatical mode, it is way more functional than yours. grin.

grin.
Lol, its armchair conjecture VS experience grin.

On a more serious note, you had better take a sabbatical from your sabbatical - and go out more. I wouldn't want Richiy, my good friend, to end up an old maid with a cat.

It happened

If we don't discuss it, the dangers will eventually outweigh the silence. What if he becomes addicted? What if he loses any interest in the opposite sex? So many questions.

I hope you know that teaching him how to get girls is not the way out. There are many who are in relationships, even married folks, who still indulge in the act.
Masturbatíon is not bad in itself. But EVERY addiction is.

while there are a lot of verses which speak on sexual immorality. getting girls isn't the solution. what happen to abstinence? what about helping such child to build a new interest ?
There are no verses, in the bible, that talk about masturbatíon.

And on another note, sexuality is not immoral. Yes, there could be a state of excess - as with anything. So there should be moderation.

Even too much oxygen can kill you. Yes, oxygen.

Society has evolved to maintain order, so preaching abstinence and imposing sexúal restrictions on people is was a way to check kids from popping out babies with reckless abandon. And adults, from not causing too much strife by banging other people's spouses.

For the first reason, we now have something called condoms.

New interest you say? Lol.

Interest is such a weak word, really, to describe one's compulsion. It is called sex drive for a reason.

Here's what the dictionary says drive means: "urge or force (animals or people) to move in a specified direction", "an innate, biologically determined urge to attain a goal or satisfy a need."

Determined urge. Force. Innate.

Your son's sex drive is not a passing fancy. It is a force of nature, like gravity or magnetism, seeking expression. It cannot be wished away.

To me, I won't condemn him or her,but teach the danger of it to such a child, using bible principles ,informing the child how if the act not stopped ,might put s strain on his or her self esteem. I won't tell the child that doing it is abnormal. otherwise,he might begin to think he is abnormal. I will be shock though! what will be your own reaction?
It didn't happen. I won't even talk about it.

Sexual expression is as normal as your urge to feed. And as amoral as breathing.

If he's in his late teens, and doesn't have his own girl(s). I'll teach him how to get girls.

And out of curiosity, what related bible verse could you possibly quote?

Yes because their lyrics don't impact good morals on his fans. How can 14 songs be talking about girls only??..
If you want good morals, there's Don Moen and related artistes.

In a night club with tons of skimpily-clad women advertising their wares. 'Morality' is the last thing you want to hear about.

And don't even get me started on morals. Is talking about women immoral? Immoral by whose standards? Who made the person an authority?

ANYTHING you FEEL from your core is legit!

Far from it!

Music is not close to being dead.

Download the itunes player on your system. Then go to the itunes store and you will be pleasantly OVERWHELMED!

You don't have to like every genre of music. Wizkid, like every other artiste, has his audience, and he does a damn good job of satisfying them.

As good as the guys you listed up there are, you most certainly don't want to hear them in certain environments - or when you're in certain moods.

Av not listened to all o, but from the few I heard, the "in my bed" song was pathetic. What kinda song is that one?

Anybody that rates that song A needs to change his brand of music. Leme not even start with "are you ghana dance o" or "bombom Bombay song". I don't see this album performing well at all.

Any musician that cant write good songs anymore should hire songwriters.
I would actually rate them A++. You forgot "In my bed" - a 5-star song of manly INTENT.

Wizkid has been the most CONSISTENT Nigerian artiste for a while now. And people don't listen to his songs because of the lyrics.

If you want to turn up the temperature in a club, a bar or a party - Wizzy is the right man.

If you stay out from 8 PM to 3 AM, you will usually hear his songs played not less than 5 times - that's how good he is. No other Nigerian artiste currently comes close.

It's hardly ever about the lyrics - even the venerable Mr Yanni doesn't say shít.

MizMyColi:
Errrr

I don't quite follow.
Human babies are very high-maintenance. And are 100% dependent on their mothers, their primary care-giver, for almost an eternity - compared to other species.

And in the harsh pre-historic environment, in which all our basic motivations, drives and inclinations were forged, a human baby wouldn't survive 5 minutes without it's mother.

It needed her 24/7, and probably up to 10 years.

So to make this boring, resource-intensive, heavily-tasking responsibility stick, nature/God/evolution conjured a powerful, potent elixir - oxytocin.

Oxytocin is the pair bonding hormone. It is the chemical single-handedly responsible for the powerful bonds between mothers and their babies.

And it also released in generous quantities during intercourse. So when you poke a woman repeatedly with your man-bat, attachment inevitably follows. And with attachment, aloofness takes a long, long hike.

Then there's dopamine. That's right, DÓPE. Think cocaine and addiction.

Doesn't matter if she's a runs-girl, a prim sweet-sixteen church-girl, or someone else's wife. When you bend any woman over, you are essentially eliciting the support of very powerful drugs to get her hooked.

You don't need to stress ya sef.

Just keep poking her with your midas-cóck and she will turn to gold before your very eyes...

cococandy:
I don't mean the I-was-in-a-crash-and-everyone died-except-me kind of miracle.
I mean it's wonderful but can be explained away by theories of luck or just happenstance.

Have you had any real out of the world miracle like the i-was-blind-for-20-years-and-regained-my-sight-through-prayers kind of miracle?

I have a hard time believing some miracle stories I hear.

Since I haven't ever experienced or seen one up close and personal,I'll sure need some convincing to believe in them.
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” ----- Albert Einstein.

"Miracles are not contrary to nature but only contrary to what we know about nature." -------- St. Augustine.

I used to be the biggest atheist on the planet. Not anymore.

Every single manifestation you see, feel, experience is a fvcking 5-star miracle. No exception.

Regaining you sight after 20 years is not 'out of the world', it is a small miracle. You having the consciousness to even ponder on these things really is out of the world.

Your day-to-day life is filled with an overwhelming extravagance of miracles. What is electricity? How the hell does your DNA sample, that can fit on the head of pin, contain information that can fill up to 1,000 books - of 600 pages each?

Why do plants grow? What holds the particles of an atom together? How the flying fvck does inanimate matter constitute a biological organism like yourself.

How and why do you see in the first place. What is consciousness.

Chains and chains of meaningful coincidences & synchronicities...what other miracles are bigger?
