Politics / Re: 10 Most Developed Local Government Areas In Nigeria-opinion by buddyboi(m): 5:22pm On Mar 15, 2017
Unak78:
I think he's trying to say that there aren't 10 developed local areas or even one outside of Lagos. Debatable, however it bothers me that almost all current investment, including private investment, is directed towards Lagos when the country needs more regional economic hubs. Part of the reason that Lagos is overrun and overpopulated is this mentality. If more investment could be directed towards Aba, Port Harcourt, Kaduna, Maiduguri, Jos, Ibadan etc you would see more growth across the country and fewer people running to one single city. Some of this is out of anyone's hands since you cannot force private investors to go where they don't see a return on investment. But you can invest government funds in different regions in order to make those regions more attractive so that the private sector can finish the job. Look at what China did by with their regional economic zones. It could be said that there were only three economic hubs in that country twenty years ago and two of them weren't even technically part of China. Now Hong Kong will have to soon fight just to remain among China's top ten investment destinations. I like the project in Eko Atlantic, for example, but a similar project elsewhere would help Nigeria more.

At any rate, I'm glad that the OP is proud of his state, but how about wishing for the country's growth, the uplifting of a nation that can be an example for all of Africa. It would not only aid Nigeria, but ease the congestion in Lagos as well.
The problem with nigeria is that our state governors are some of laziest people on the planet, they just collect salaries and allowances, for a state to develop it needs a masterplan and i havent seen any governor with any form of idea for a blueprint to propel his state forward. I believe in Nigeria the federal government should only be concerned with monetary and foreign policies, healthcare, education and national security. Every other thing should be taken care by the state government. But that is my opinion though

Ghana's stable electricity and gas are from Nigeria. yet Nigerians can't enjoy constant electricity

to show you how foolish your country leaders are.. the same Ghana we are giving light has snatched most industries from us. Most have moved to Ghana cos of stable electricity there.

I think he is trying to secure the enjoyments they get from Nigeria while Nigerians keep suffering with recession biting hard
The leaders are not foolish NO, they are playing on the intelligence of the nigerian masses. The masses are yge foolish ones, once we realise that we have more power than the so called leaders then watch how the county will change rapidly. Greed is the main issue in this country, the earlier we realise this the better for us

Politics / Re: Nigeria To Build Nuclear Plants – Onu by buddyboi(m): 2:41pm On Dec 22, 2016
asorocker:
This is the best Idea by the APC government so far, they should endeavour to site it in Lagos and Kano as this would solve the perenial electricity problem of the 2 most populous states in Nigeria , it will also serve to boost the industrialization of the 2 states and deepen the cost effective manufacture of goods and services and reduce the quantum waste in Diesel.

This is the best News so far i have heard this year.

Kudos to the best APC Ministers in Buhari's cabinet and a first class Engineer.

Please this 2 Nuclear plants can only be meaningful if they are sighted in the Lagos and kano states as they are core APC states and should not be wasted in wailers states as the wailers are in opposition parties.
Mans what are you saying? First of all the first world is moving away from nuclear energy and embracing renewable energy. Secondly, cost of buliding such a delicate energy source maintaining it and training people. Why cant we be forward thinking in this country. When everyone is running from something we tend to run towards it. This is stupidity and it should not be accepted. If you dont know what nuclear reactors can cause if it fail check chenrobyl and fukushima diiachi nuclear disasters. Dem go build am now carry all their pikin comot na una go come suffer radiation poisoning. Toor

Now I regret campaigning against Jonathan, Buhari is the worst thing to have happened to this country, he's as daft as a brainless slowpoke and has successfully surrounded himself with experts in corruption, I can vehemently say he's more corrupt than the previous president.

#bringbackJona
Point of correction, he is a very intelligent man. He played on Nigerians intelligence but telling us what we want to hear. In Nigeria we tend to look at the big picture and not the details. This same man was brought in under a party led by a corrupt man who used stolen funds to bring him to power, atiku was comptroller general of customs in his first stint as head of state, are we so blind that we cant see these people are securing the future of their bloodline at the expense of the masses . If we continue down this path nigeria will be worse than sudan in 50 years i can bet you. The downfall of nigeria is nigerians period. They always hope rather than make moves.

Let's be real now nigeria is rotten to the core. There are 2 ways i feel nigeria can prosper is when politicians/government officials get their wages cut down to barest minimum. No additional incentives. Let them live like average Nigerian . Secondly, capital punishment for those government officials past or present whom have been investigated and found guilty of corruption/looting and their assets must be seized by the government. Let their families feel the hardship an average nigerian goes through on a daily basis. With deze 2 things in place nigeria will develop at a very rapid rate. We need a ruthless president in this countrý. I believe nigerians love being treated like animals before tthey do the right thing

nduchucks:
40% fee is standard in the US for recovery from insurance companies and in personal injury cases. Many lawyers in the US have become ambulance chasers because of the said 40% fee.

This lawyer may have conned Nigerian officials into signing a contract which favors the lawyer. The Nigerian government needs to hire very high powered attorneys to find a hole in the contract. Holes can always be found.
I suggest thry hire harvey specter from suits, he'll get the job done

u should hard reset it, it happened to my n8 use this method powering on the E6 while holding down the Shift, Space and Backspace keys does work to hard reset the phone. If it's not working for you try removing the SIM and taking the battery out for at least 20 seconds.
