Eyewitnesses sighted a fire before the crash;a red flag that there could have been an explosion(probably an IED),before the crash.Investigators must try to eliminate the possibility of mechanical fault or electronic malfunction or human error.PA has questions to answer. My personal view

Please kindly help me with info on possibility of getting admission to study PGDE in education at NOUN. I have HND in Mech Engineering but have interest in establishing primary and secondary school very soon. Since I will like to major on a science subject do I need to have credit in English Language @ WAEC O'Level before I can apply? I am inquiring this because I have P7 in English at SSCE.
You need to obtain a Credit in English Language to apply for your programme, but don't be discouraged: there is a programme called "Access Programme",you could register for your English Language under the programme and do your level best to obtain a Credit first before you proceed to your desired Course.Otherwise,NOUN wouldnt allow you to start any Course without a Credit Pass i English Language.Wishing you the very best
NYSC / Re: NOUN Graduates Will Soon Be Able To Participate In NYSC, Law School – VC by buddyosan: 11:00am On May 31, 2017
"All great ideas are first ridiculed, then rejected, then violently opposed, then later accepted as self-evident."(Arthur Schopenhauer)
This is the case of NOUN.
Continue to ridicule it.You are helping NOUN to fulfil the law of acceptability above.
Open University UK law graduates are called to bar and are given front - row seats in UK courts.Nigerians should refuse to be blind and ignorant. The world has moved passed that.

Callmemike:

i am going to be blunt. The Nigerian Law School does not recognize any NOUN certificare. If NOUN is accreditated then you should go to Law school

Going to NOUN or not is a personal decision. But an introspection will help. You study a full blown course like Medicine without recognized labs: law without viable classrooms and all that. While schools like IMSU worked to regain accreditation by increasing their structure and work force.

I will want anny NOUN student to prove me wrong that Nig. Law school or Nigerian Medical Association recognizes NOUN certificates
At some point it took UI 5 years to get Law School accreditation same with NOUN and IMSU.When NOUN Law Faculty eventually gets accreditation later this year, would you be angry about it?

You cannot say anything about NOUN if you are an outsider.I am an insider(400 Level student of NOUN).All the courses in NOUN are accredited by NUC including Law and BSc Nursing. But the National Assembly(Senate Committee on Tertiary Education)is handling the CLE/Law School issue at the moment.Accordingly, the only course you cannot apply for for now is Law.Every other course, you are good to go.And if you may know, the best MSc. Sociology postgrad student in last session Unilag is a BSc Criminology graduate of NOUN.So,don't say anything about NOUN if you don't know shit about it.NOUN is a Federal University, though young, like every new idea, is developing, improving everyday. The only caveat is that you cannot pass ANY COURSE if you are not ready to study hard. You cannot bribe any lecturer because your scripts are marked anonymously.Check Webometric, you'll see that NOUN has been ranked 15th best Uni in Nigeria in just a few years. In another 5 years, you'll be surprised about the quality of training in this school

I work with a multunational firm with formations across Nigeria.Though I had a 2.1,I never submitted any CV or indicated I had a 2.1.All they just know is that I'm a graduate.Grade is useless,in fact certificate is worthless in this age. It's hands-on skills that matter now
