At the airpot right now, no flight is taking off and none is landing. For those who have intension of flying today may have to reschedule.

If you have not booked. Just wait.

what is annoying me now is that they are not giving me my money.

I had to speak to one of the FAAN top officials who told me that they have a problem on the run way.

Its rather annoying that no one is saying jack

Car Talk › Re: Are You Always Conscious Of The Value Of Your Car? by Built2last: 3:07pm On Dec 03, 2013
MONEY IS ILLUSIVE, A SHADOW OF SOMETHING ELSE . . . money is simply the world’s symbol of wealth, Money is not real.
Money is merely legal tender, a form of exchange. We use it to exchange value. It represents value.Money is the “body” of value. It is the physical representation of
value that rises and falls in ourselves, within us. Not within “things”outside of us, but within us. For without us, what can the value of a thing, such as a car, be to us? Nothing, at least not to us. In other words, it is we, the observers, that place value in things, but this
value is really value in us—we give value to the material things. The material things have no “money” value in themselves—we give
that to them. So money is the external physical representation of a particular section of our internal value, within us, within you. That
is why a house or a block of shares valued at $1 million today can fall to a valuation of half a million dollars tomorrow when fear is
introduced into the hearts of those involved. The fear kills a portion of the internal values of the participants, and that is reflected by the
paper money, the “body” of value.

everything is only important dependent on the value we place on them. Gold is gold because of the value we have placed on it

Politics › ASUU Alleges Bribe Of Members by Built2last(op): 10:37am On Dec 03, 2013
The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has accused the federal government of taking money round campuses to influence some lecturers to abandon the six-month old strike embarked upon by the union.

Making this allegation during a television programme, the chairman of the University of Lagos chapter of ASUU, Karo Ogbinaka, said the union was aware that some agents of the government have been going round the campuses to influence lecturers to abandon the strike.

Ogbinaka condemned the federal government for trying to break the strike by trying to influence some lecturers rather than addressing the issues. “Government is just changing its tactics by bribing members to break the strike. That won’t resolve the issue. Rather than address the issue, they are attempting to break the strike,” he said.

A congress scheduled for today by the Union at UNILAG was shifted till tomorrow to address this and other issues. Ogbinaka said the move to break the ranks of the lecturers by influencing them with money will fail.

He also flayed the government for sponsoring market women to protest against the striking lecturers. Ogbinaka said the move will ultimately fail because the lecturers are resolute.

The federal government last week issued the university lecturers a 4 December ultimatum to resume classes or be sacked. But ASUU described the threat as a big joke.

The union has asked parents to ignore government’s directive for students to resume at their various universities because lecturers are still on strike.

The union asked parents to keep their children at home pending the resolution of the dispute between the government and the lecturers.

Politics › 2015 Presidency: Tambuwal To Run Under APC, Sets Up TPP by Built2last(op): 10:31am On Dec 03, 2013
Baring any last minutes change of plans, the Speaker, House of
Representatives Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal will contest the 2015
Presidential elections under the banner of the All Progressive Congress,
APC, an informed source told Pointblanknews.com.

Sources told Pointblanknews.com that Tambuwal has been secretly meeting
with top Politicians from the North and has set up the Tambuwal
Presidential Project, TPP.

TPP’s membership is drawn from top Politicians in the North, members of
the National Assembly as well as APC chieftains who are not disposed to
General Mohammadu Buhari’s presidential ambition.

Tambuwal, regarded as the “new face of Northern politics” is seen as the
most acceptable among Northern politicians who desperately yearn for power
to return to the North in 2015.

The Speaker’s Governor, Aliyu Wammako of Sokoto State recently decamped to
the APC. But the Speaker cannot leave the PDP now, as he would forfeit his
seat in the National Assembly under the new electoral law.

Tambuwal’s choice as a presidential material according to inside sources
is to represent the much call for the return of Power to the North in
2015.

Sources in the North who are following the emerging politics are of the
opinion that Hon. Tambuwal, coming from Sokoto State; a key north western
state of the country would be in better position to slug it out with
President Goodluck Jonathan in the event that the President emerged the
PDP presidential candidate.

Already top echelons of the APC who are not particularly comfortable with
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari running for the Presidency on the party’s platform
are currently said to be holding clandestine meetings to convince the
Speaker to join the Party and contest the Presidential ticket of the
party.
The Speaker, although has not acceded to the overtures but his close
associates said his body language is encouraging.

“The Speaker is a politician and so he has to calculate well before
deciding. He has not said yes to the request but from his body language,
we know he is not opposed to it,” a source who has been part of the
political calculation told Pointbalnknews.com.

Some APC chieftains are also said to have commence mounting pressure on
Gen. Buhari, urging him to drop any idea of contesting the 2015
Presidential

An APC member of the House of Representatives who pleaded anonymity said
majority of the members of the House are in support of Tambuwal’s
presidential ambition and are already working round the clock to sell the
idea to other Nigerians

“We have gone far with the Tambuwal Presidential Project (TPP) we have
reached virtually all nooks and cranny of this country to seek support of
major stake holders within and outside the APC, we are very comfortable
with the response we have received so far. Nigeria and Nigerians would get
a better deal if and when we translate the TPP into reality In-Sha-Allah

“Nigerians must also recall that that the emergence of Tambuwal as Speaker
of the House of Representatives was not the making of the PDP, rather, we
the now APC made it happen and ever since, the Speaker is carrying
everybody along irrespective of ethnicity, tribe or religion some rare
quality a good leader must possess, the Federal Lawmaker who hails from
the north revealed.

My kid brother works there and i remember he told me his take home is 243k or there about.

But if i were you, i will make money the last factor, put passion and job satisfaction ahead and you will be wealthy.

the bigger question is why are you going there.

Has your desire for a job led you into desperation?

You must do what you like to make it in life.

Politics › Re: Ngige-Fashola Ticket: How Do You See It? by Built2last: 3:22pm On Nov 28, 2013
there is something you dont get or you simply pretend about it.

the north is in APC because they must be produce the presidential candidate. Fashola can never win the ticket. if Tinubu insists thats the end of APC. APC is about northern interest. The historical mistake Tinubu made and will regret later is to allign with CPC and ANPP.

The Oduduwa nation was better as a political force when they were ACN.

Get it, the north wants power at all cost and Yorubas are the easiest to help them access it. but i doubt it in 2015, maybe 2019.

The core not had over time used, the middle belt and dump them after elections with the deception that they are nort central. but they don use kerosene wash eye now.

I have been waiting for APC to present their template for rebuilding Nigeria. who knows? i may join politics but all i see are men whose desires for power has gone into desperation. and a desperate man can do anything including this rascality on display.

APC need to focus on reaching out and buying the masses with a workable programme not accepting every dick and harry, visiting former heads of states and granting unnecessary press interview.

i forsee them crying foul that the election was rigged in 2015. It is studpid to think that the noise on the media will win election for them.

they should spend more time mobilising and strategising

Politics › Re: Fresh Confusion, Discombobulation And Commotion Rocks New PDP/APC Merger by Built2last: 8:22am On Nov 28, 2013
PDP is suffering cracks now which is better for them to restrategise early next year. my greater fear is the APC which will suffer implosion as the election approaches next year. Power sharing, party leadership structure and presidencial candidacy will implode APC.

Again because of Buhari and Tinubu varying political interests. we haven't seen the worst of the Aggrieved People's Congress APC.

The major reason APC will implode is because Nigerias development is not their agenda but the personal quest for power by the partys leadership. Their followers know this but pretend about it.

PDP may be a den of corruption but APC is not a good alternative. Nigerians must know this.

It will be the height of gullibility to believe or think that Balarabe Musa wishes the igbos well. The greatest fear of the north now is that the almighty north is divided already between PDP and APC meaning that the votes ffrom that region is shared already. the block votes from SE and SS is a major threat. Hence, the cocky advice fom the white beared old man to Igbos to consider fielding a candidate.

how i wish it was from a pure heart.

Ameachi did not enter one chance..na half chance with no AC. Its political suicide for that young man. I expected him to learn from Timipre Silva. Where is he now? Jonathan will patiently wait for Ameachi after election in 2015. I forsee him running out but APC, the internet party will only rant on media.

My people says its an abomination for one to join forces to fight his own brother. I really pity ameachi ahead of 2015. He has committed political suicide, no thanks to his advicers.

Do you seriously believe that GEJ is enjoying the unfolding development? Put yourself in his position and give a candid answer.
if politics is about interest, where do you think the interest of OBJ, IBB and abdulsalam is better. Is IBB, OBJ better under Buhari and Tinubu which they consider arch enemy? these 2 men will rather die than hand over the affairs of Nigeria to Tinubu and Buhari.

What you dont know is that majority of the elite class dont trust the comination of Buhari and Tinubu. Its a bad thingy for the elite class and they will protect their interest withe evrything they have. If you understand the machiavelian principle.
