@nwando AS long as Jehovah lives,my feet will not enter Airfrance unless as a last resort. I had a serious verbal altercation with a check out girl for Air france and while in Paris,an air france employee challenged my husband to a fist fight. The people are uncultured. Never flown Iberia and from what I read here,I won't. How can I fly for more than 7 hours without watching movies? I could take my laptop or portable DVD but why should I ? People should beware of all these cheap deals. who can forget "world airline" a few Christmases ago that dumped Nigerian holiday makers in Ghana and turned back. As far as they were concerned, they were in West Africa and can find their way home from Accra. These people bought roundtrip tickets to Nigeria and ended up in Accra,of course they had to find their way back to the US on their own. If you get roundtrip tickets to Lagos from JFK at $900 when others are charging $1600 be prepared ,you get what you pay for. I hope you can speak Ashanti or Twi. lol, maybe the treatment you got from the crew member was a result of transfer aggression, air france operates one of the best airline in the whole world, iberia is cool too as i had flew them once from naija , but if you really want where passengers are washed with loads of insults and treated like dogs my brother try lufthansa ![]() |
@ patakhee. Thank God you come down!!! i need not lie on issues all what i gave was a personal experience and my circumstances here in england, and thank God i got some few nairaland members who can attest to this. You are my pal anyday!! whenever you are in UK let me know so dat i can quantify my facts, i cant be too stupid to be confusing the poster, anyway a million thanks for all your efforts. You are appreciated. Good luck man |
@ Funkybaby, you should notice I ignored you… because I can really quatify your level of understanding from your recents post in romance section. 2. lies is not something you can quatify with facts, hence my resolve to ask patakhee to drop me a text so that I can call him and quatify my facts. 3. of what sin is if you use your boss to stand as a sponsor for you in visa application? Records of my employments is still with Esso exploration so if you really want to know further the HR door in lekki is open for your enquries 4.talking about career path !!! I have phd students here that invested over £600 pounds for SIA training and license so are you saying they are mad , i am sure mike adenuga must be lost on career path too when he was driving truck in states please be informed that any career activities anyone with student visa delved into for now is just for sustainability sake.( software testing, downing street jobs etc are not core proffessional jobs!!) What I stand to gain after studies still stands as my priority and nothing else. Also you might have to blame medical doctors taking up bank jobs in nigeria too, i think all of us deviating from our career path must be crazy, funky yu talk like a small girl 5 immigration lawyers… sometimes the way yu argue amuses me, I could have told the poster to contact me without letting you know. Funky baby its never my intention to insult a woman, but please it seems you are confused. @ phatackee, uncle akolawole i am still expecting your contacts details on the number i dropped, if i am not sure of myself i wont stay this long on the thread. |
@ nairalanders He now proclaim that he was wrong about joe okoro thing!!!( when I don threaten to sue you for defamation and subsequent deportation… lol) Phatakee I don’t gain anything mis informing people, if you are still in Holland text me your phone contacts I will call you to enlighten you the more on my success. |
@ Phatakee I bet your BP is rising over another man issue, what I don’t know I will never come on board to tell the people I know it. Let me ask you, do you reside in England?? I am quite aware that your visa appeal to UK was refused twice hence you decided to be wondering around in Holland!!! I am glad I did not follow those advise you initially gave to me on visa issues( all good thanks to blue2, monddallars e.t.c who really took time out to deal with my visa enquiries ,this same set of guys can attest to my success here) who knows I might be India like yourself now . If you must know, though I train as a scientist before I left Nigeria I already have SAP and Sage100 accounting qualification. I don’t really know when the number of post on nairaland now became criteria to determine Mr Know-all( for the fact that you are jobless sleeping on this forum does not mean some of us are jobless) Is it £10 per hour in Downing Street that is making you mad?? The new info is I am leaving downing street come 31st of march for another good job(software testing) that will be fetching me £250 per day, so be prepare to go into sea. My friend I am not really interested in trading words but let it sink into your thick skull that I don’t make a mountain out of mole-hill on issues, the fact that you consider some attempts in your life as a failure does not mean such attempts is a failure all round for all people. So relax man and stop creating unnecessary hypentension for yourself, seek info first before your empty drum starts to make noise. Lastly howz your guyz in red light districts in Holland doing? |
@ akolawole I reserved my comments( you are one of a person i gat so much respect for)!!! if you need clarifications drop your mail or mobile, i have met a quite few nairaland members here in england and wales (one of them just left my crib in london and travel back to newcastle) who can attest to this information . of what use is lying on the above mentioned concern?? i don't know the poster from adams!!! what i gave is a personal experience @ phatakhee You are ignored!!! i will still like you to bring out the evidence on your presume joel okoro( do you even know what is call defamation of character??), , however you need to dig into my working with exxon mobil production in nigeria as a finance officer, i bet when you get this info you will have to sue exxon mobil nigeria for employing a biochemist as a finance officer. exchanging words with you will be a bloody insult on my intellect!!! |
akolawole, funky, e.t.c, i refuse to argue with you, ignoramus!!! some nairaland members who happen to meet me in jand can attest to my story |
@ Akolawole Thanks alot for your indepth analysis, but i must let you know it"s a personal experience. If you must know seems d employer was desperate for me , lol hence i was employed as soon as i got to uk( nothing is impossible). my lectures was always mon-weds (9-3) and i work 5-7 during this days, while i work full time on thurs and frids. Am through with the coursework so i no dey go lectures again , i dey work full time.(35hrs) I am using my NI 24/7 and i don do renewal, even i got friends here that work in security firms (they work 70hrs weekly) and dey just renew their visa. I might not be an expat on immigration issues, but from experience home office no too dey shakara postgraduate students from universities unlike the colleges(of course NFAs don polarise colleges). Egbon, i work in downing street as a finance officer the seat of united kingdom goverment if you are still not convinced i can send a private mail to you from my office e-mail.(God dey). lastly i am one of the guys that graduated from your visa appeal process, (i did not appeal anyway, i just reapply immediately i was refused initially and pronto !!! i got the visa) you guys are doing wonderful jab on the appeal thread anyway, cheers @ funkybabe I reserve my comments |
@ poster I will advice you to dump the diamond offer and take up your postgrad studies, have you ever heard this phrase “slow and steady wins the race”. If you don’t work out your ass how would you get to the peak of ypur career?? Let me tell you don’t get discouraged by what people write weigh out your options and pray for God guidance , not all UK students suffer like people makes it look like, I am doing my masters currently and to tell you something I got job(office job) the 3rd week I came into England and I have never got any job less than £10 per hour ever since. Talking about working and breaking rules!!! Even in America people break the 20 hrs rules so I don’t consider it a big deal so far you have demonstrated evidence of satisfactory progress in your academics. Bank jobs in Nigeria is just something to keep boys going(reigning thing), I tell you prospects is dull, even the bankers will tell you this. cheers |
go to south african embassy in lagos ![]() |
@ poster its such a pity you are treated like this, i will seriously advise you to keep low and watch things if shes truly yours she will surely come back to her brains. |
brauneyes:@ poster, brayunes could you please list wat you have achieved in 10years in germany!! germany is a very bad country, i for one has been a victim of their visa refusal waybak in lagos,i applied then becos i was ignorant of wat operates there.i really thank my stars for not landing myself in germany. i must confess wat you are boasting youve achieved in germany in 10 years will take an average naija person in america, uk , canada or australia 3yrs max to achieve it. i will advise the original poster of this messsage if its a must for him to travel out, look for anywhere else in europe!! if you know wat racism looks like. |

guys i need advise on uk visas, blue2 , gbengaijiot will appreciate ur e-mail so that i can discuss with u in details |
applied for a student visa to Uk in august, however my application was refuse due to lack of sponsorship this is what the consular wrote ‘whilst you have evidence of fund, you have not indicated evidence of their origin, the documents (financial) you have shown largely stands in isolation in the absence of your sponsors business, income or the origin of these funds. What happen was that presented an account with a fixed deposit of 15million naira, together with a current account that is like 300,000 naira. The fixed deposit expires on the day I turned in application. I have decided to reapply again with a deferment letter from my uk school, and my sponsor has given me his salary current account detail with which he just lodged 15million naira after a balance of 100,000 before, though in addition to this he has collected a letter from there HR manager (Exxon Mobil) to the consular in Lagos which states that he has been in working with them for nine years and his salary annually+ allowances is 9million.Please I need you honest advice, Like how many weeks can I wait before applying for the visa since my sponsor just lodged the money? VOR, Femilangy ? , i need your honest advice i will appreciate your personal e-mail so that we can chat better |
