I have HND and pgD and I am writing IELTS for UKVI. The recruiter said pgd plus HND isn't cannot suffice for UK BSc.

Actually, standard IELTS has both Academic and General tests. Similarly, IELTS for 'UKVI' also has both Academic and General tests.

I wrote standard ielts acedemic with 7 band score but I have booked to write ielts for UKVI general.

If you didn't do IELTS UKVI then it's probably IELTS Standard you have.

NOTE: If you meant "Academic" up there then it's certainly IELTS UKVI you already have.

Best sit for the UKVI IELTS because proficiency letter won't do anything except if you want to use it for NARIC and NARIC doesn't accept HND to the best of my knowledge. Maybe try with your PgD?

You must use UKVI IELTS to apply unless you want to suffer and have your visa refused

UKVI IELTS, TB Test Police report is a COMPULSORY requirement for tier 2 visa
You can only use proficiency letter to prove your English knowledge if you are going for studies
Go to gov.uk , all the information you need for your visa application is here

Your employer is asking for the government approved IELTS result which is UKVI IELTS(Either general or academic is acceptable, but most people go for general )

I am awaiting COS. My recruiter requested for proficiencieny in use of English.

This is the background: HND Mass Comm, PGD in International Relations. Being a post graduate diploma, is it advisable I apply to the University for the proficiency letter as the course isn't degree based or I sit for ielts for UKVI general.
I earlier sat for ielts academic erroneously.

I went for my TB test at iom Lagos and even with my doctors report and xray results indicating complete eradication, I was told I need to do a sputum test with them cause I had TB in 2015. My worry is, I was told it will take 10 weeks for the result to be out! 10 weeks!.
My question is, how do I communicate this delay back to my employer?
Will they withdraw their offer because of this?
They are supposed to start my visa processing while we wait for the passports of my dependents to be ready. Now the waiting just feels so long.

I will advice you tell your employer the simple truth without divulging all, your TB test is not ready. Your employer might help shift your resumption day forward and not withdraw the COS.
Also, waiting for passport for your dependants might take the same length of time. So, please just continue to prepare in other areas while you wait.

I’ve also tried to reach them via calls but all the lines are switched off. The issue is my biometrics collection is on the 19. Is there any other way I can reach them or should I just go to the center I wrote my exam.

If you apply from Nigeria, you will use a police clearance certificate. Got mine at Alagbon for a token. The police certificate is for the principal applicant only

Re-book and follow the instructions sent to your email. You have option to choose a suitable date on the booking portal.

This is false. The immigration skills charge is £364 for small sponsors. £364*3 years=£1,092. According to UKGOV the employer is meant to make that payment.

There is a difference between Health Surcharge and Immigration skill charge.
As a care worker, you are exempted from the Health Surcharge when applying for Visa.

Akanniaelde, your salary is good. If I were you, I'd go ahead and accept the deal if they insist that you must refund them.

Ultimately, my advise is same. Take the job even if they want to deduct from your salary.

Hi guys, I have been assigned a 3 year CoS and my employer agreed to certify my maintenance so i don’t have to use my bank statement when applying for visa.

My annual salary (gross) as stated in my CoS is just a little above £28,000 per annum but they have stated that the immigration surcharge for the three years (£1092) will be deducted from my salary with an agreement.

I am not sounding greedy but is it right as there were no prior discussion regarding this, I was only told after my CoS was assigned.

It was released this morning. Apparently it was a general issue with everyone that wrote the exam in Abuja.

Your passport number is stated on the yellow fever card. If you have change passport, you will need to get a fresh card.
