When you say Jesus didn't collect tithe that is misleading. Tithe was supposed to be brought into the house of God. I can't find anywhere that suggested that Jesus Christ was the head of any synagogue so he couldn't have received tithe. However Jesus Christ also supported the payment of tithe. In Matthew 23:23. When it comes to tithe I don't know why people continue to criticize tithe payment because I haven't seen when people were forced to do so. Who wants to pay will pay cause all the criticising is just a waste of time. Tithing came before the law, because some erroneously believed that tithing was part of the law and since the law was abolished so tithing has been abolished. Tithing was before the law and has nothing to do with the law. When you study what Paul wrote in Hebrews concerning tithing that will tell you that tithing is not just a old testament thing but also it's a new testament thing. You are failing to understand that Abraham children paid tithe and we are the children of Abraham. The priesthood continues and who you receive the message of the gospel is your priest, therefore tithe should be paid to them.

Lastly, tithing is not the only thing they preached. Through out the year they preach other messages, but if they just speak about tithing once, the next you will hear is that pastors always peach tithing.
