Statutorily their role ought to be monitoring the process, but I went for a recruitment process for a service company last week, and everything was done by NCDMB. The screening tests (2 screening tests) and interview. Even questions in the tests revolved around NCDMB. Also, all the interviewers introduced themselves and boldly confirmed that they were from NCDMB. And that was where the questions started:” Do you know who we are and why we might be here for this recruitment?” Another person paraphrased “do you know what the functions of NCDMB are and why we are here today?”. In fact they were just everywhere. I met a guy outside the interview room taking notes, he said he was from NCDMB too......and he’s in planning and statistics.

So yeah, don’t be surprise bro......I think it’s the new norm. A way to achieve the 70% local content goal. That’s all think.

this is one of the reasons, why I believe that the total number to be recruited will exceed the reported 150

The merit list will spring from 75% upward.
The second mail was formality and also your strong button way you press.
It was because of pressure when some big ogas came to Es when he came back from morocco both the bayelsa state and local government chiefs tooo and we're demanding that thier children didn't meet up so he said instead of giving them alone it should be reduced to 50 then that was what brought the second mail.. but we hope by God grace most persons would be invited too... But it will spring from 1st mail.

I doubt this will be the case....unless they did not review the documents of those in the second batch, no sensible recruiter we let go of a more qualified applicant just because another applicant scored about 10-15 points more in an unsupervised and "free to cheat test".
I believe at this point it is more about qualification than test score.

Let's look at this situation from a footballing perspective.

We are two central defenders trying to defend against two strikers in a counter attack and we are almost close to our penalty area.

I am defender A, intelligent, faster and with a good positioning skill (NNPC Engineer), while my elder brother is defender B, intelligent, stronger and with a good positioning skill like myself (Programmer).

As defender A (intelligence, pace and positioning = NNPC Engineer), I would man-mark the striker with the ball without letting him out-turn me from the middle to be through on goal, try to make him drift away from the penalty area to the side.

By taking the striker with the ball sideways, I have the options of out-muscling him and winning the ball outrightly or kicking the ball out for a throw-in or corner-kick so that our team-mates can come back and defend in their numbers.

My brother as defender B (intelligent, stronger with good positioning = Programmer), will also man-mark the second striker without the ball. There is no way this second striker will out-muscle him.

If my brother and I were to mark the striker with the ball (using my details to get him the Customs job), we will be punished sooner or later. The second striker will be free and the striker with the ball will see the space to pass to him. Boom! He's one-on-one with our goalkeeper.

Even if we adopt a zonal marking system, the striker with the ball can make a through pass or play a one-two with him. Again, one-on-one with our goalkeeper and they would still score.

What I would do for my brother to get him a job is contained in my next post.

This argument has been dragging since yesterday... Many people are really unfamiliar with Federal recruitment and the Role of FCC..
Any list coming from FCC is the final list. manipulation is carried out before FCC and not after... In the past list will go to FCC after screening and not before. This one is different just like NDLEA where APL was ready even before screening.
As it is now the 3500 shortlisted are officers unless they get screened out for inconsistency in doc or other requirements.

Same thing will play out in the NIS and NSCDC recruitment

Physical screening and document verification is January.. physical screening, documents verification and IPPs capturing will be conducted same day. Successful applicants will receive text to come get APL on a specific day intervals at MOI or designated location. Mind you, this year screening will be by batch to avoid over crowding. INTEL

Obviously this girl doesn't know how Federal Recruitment works..
No be only physical screening and IPPIS capturing, salary will be paid that day too.

For those saying how come it's only nairalanders that knows about the job, don't forget we had sources like Tammy Anybody that told us that the job is actually NCDMB. Many out there did not know, even politicians and I think that was exactly what NCDMB wanted to achieve. To reduce the pressure.

Aunty even at this, the number of applicants will be far above 100k. In 2018 I was a member of a recruiting team for data collectors, with the many restrictions and even stating on the advert that the data will be collected from villages in the northwest, within 2weeks we had about 15k applications. I may agree with the many speculations here but definitely not this "less than a 100k applicants".

Ps: I don't to go back and forth on this.

If the list is at FCC den it's the final list. Screening list don't go there. ÑDLEA has shown 5them the way
