Politics / The Outlawed Garri Gang On Nairaland. by BushDoctor123: 12:38am On Jul 05, 2016
To those nairalander who still remember the "GARRI"gang of blessed memory. How was your experience with their invasion? considering the fact that the economy was not too friendly and things were very difficult in Nigeria compare to what we have now? Even the cheapest food "GARRI" is out of the reach of the common man now. Were the "GARRI" gang right then in bringing the hardship of the masses to the fore? Now the slogan is "Who u EPP". Before we say "jack Robinson" this gang will also take over nairaland. The earlier the mod nip it in the bud the better. Abeg do the needful oga mod, cos this info better pass grasscutter.

My cousin sometimes in 2013. I was so used to fb until he introduced me to nairaland, my day is not complete without a visit to the site. I have sold some stuffs and also bought some too, and found solutions to some nagging problems. Remember the era of the "GARRI GANG" I was the secretary under a different Monika lol. I have been banned for two weeks & It was not a pleasant experience at all. been a Nairalander has been a wonderful experience. Oga Seun, three gbosa for you. Lalasticlala, nothing for you until I hit front page.

He/she might not be aware of the habit except you call his/her attention to it. Make sure he/she lick some peppermint or trebor sweet before sleep. It will go a long way in suppressing the effect but if it persist pls consult a qualify medical doctor. my two cent.

I think future ATM machines should be redesigned in a way that a thumb print identification should be the first thing before inputting the PIN numbers. If the thumb print is rejected, you cannot proceed. Period.
This might warrant thieves cutting off the thumb of the victim an go along with it for further withdrawal. Naija thieves are heartless.

This solution might look weird but trust me it will work. spray a very strong perfume the type sold by those aboki mallams, hold a bunch of broom on your right hand and one medium size onion on your left hand walk quietly to the bee hive, as u approach the hive trust me the bees will disappear in a jiffy. Don't thank me later since you dislike honey.

Openly celebrating jungle justice is a crime in Nigeria.
Ok o we hear. the thief should have been celebrated and giving an award for stealing before been handled over to the police, then the rich dad will now use his connection to free him. make e tank in God say dem no lynch am. The beating serves him right.

Good evening Toyota gurus, pls my son mistakenly added water to the plastic water reservoir container, even though the level of the coolant was in between the (full and low) indicator level . The van is a Toyota sienna 2000 model bought sept last year direct from the US. the coolant has been at that level ever since i bought it until this morning when he wrongly topped it up to the (full)indicator level. My question is the after effect of the water on my engine, what do you advise I do. thanks.

what time of the day do you pump the tyres?
Have you driven the car abit before you pumped it that day?
Did the vulcanizer use a meter type or digital tyre pressure or t6e normal stick type?
If yes, its a wrong pump procedure, if no, go over the process again
I noticed it about thirty minutes after change and it was the stick type pressure used. I will try and locate a reputable station for confirmation. thanks a million.

Ymodulus:

Did you use the road side tire pumper, popularly known as Vulcanizer?

If yes, then walk into any Total Filling station or any standard filling station or Tire store that does wheel alignment and balancing and ask them to pump your tire for you.

They use a very standard pumping machine and Barometer.

The road side pumper don't measure pressure accurately.

IF the above is done and you still feel your tire is under inflated, while pumped with the accurate pressure. Leave the tire that way.

It's normal. Or check your dashboard. A tire Pressure stability sensor should blink if it's not well pumped ( Note: i talk from a honda experience. I mean sensor. I don't know if the Toyota model you talk about has such sensor. However i think it should ).
Thanks, the tyres were changed and pumped by a road side vulcanised and no tyre sensor check light on. I Will look for a standard filling station as advised. Am grateful.

Good day guru's in the house. am sure this issue might have been treated somewhere on this forum before but don't know how to search for it. Pls, what is the correct tyre pressure for the front & rear tyre of my Toyota sienna 2000 model? I recently bought new tyres with sizes 215/70R15 but the info at the door says 30 & 32psi. Even when inflated to 40psi it still looks under inflated. pls what is the correct psi? the van is for private use. Mod, kindly pls move to the appropriate section. Thanks.
