Politics / Re: Elumelu Exposes Multi-billion Naira Power Sector Fraud by bushwailo: 7:34pm On Sep 15, 2015
Even while this happened under PDP, we have to be particular about who is who here.

The whole $16b dollar worth of power contracts were awarded under OBJ.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7296466.stm

GEJ privatised the power sector bringing in money into government coffers.
http://www.nigeriaelectricityprivatisation.com/

Now the same OBJ is busy parleying "Mr Change", while most here have made GEJ the face of PDP.
Make we dey talk true for the sake of our children o.

PS : But some APC followers are intellectually poor. They are celebrating this unaware that this was a ploy by PDP to expand the scope of PMBs probe agenda to include the OBJ administration. undecided

And a dedicated website to explain Nigeria's power sector privatization shows GEJ changed Nigeria in ways only the educated will appreciate. cheesy

70 percent of northerners fail WAEC every year and they contribute less than 20 percent to the Nigerian economy. They are the poorest, most diseased, most ignorant, most insecure and most spiteful.
But they still have the audacity to present politicians without quality education to rule over the affairs of country and some useless southerners would vote the stark ignorant northern politician and jubilate with the northerners.

Nigeria is just a useless country. This country disgusts me.

Wow..... this is interesting, looking at the voting pattern, its obvious that the more educated states voted PDP while the illiterates voted APC.
With GMB barely literate himself, it sets the tone for the next 4 years

'WE' and you still claim igbo. I wonder why you guys love the igbos so much. You can beg God to make you igbo in your next life,as for this one we all know that you are far from being Igbo. Btw,since you pass the night in Asaba and am very certain you don't live in Anambra, why are you having conji over their affairs..please let them be..we all supported Ngige but peter obi has rigged the election. The people of anambra protested and the parties will most likely go to court. Whatever happens please let them be and stop insulting Ojukwu because you can never be half the man that he was...
So WE now means Yoruba and cannot mean Igbo ?
I told you that ur obsession has reached sickening proportions.

My point is simple, apart from a mismanaged and ill conceived war where he compromised millions of the lives he was allegedly trying to save.
Ojukwu lacks both the moral and calibre to be accorded any respect.
He achieved nothing and was hardly seen in Anambra or Nnewi his hometown
There's no single achievement that can be linked to Ojukwu in Igboland

Your posts over time gave you away as onye ofe. If you have been to Onitsha and Awka recently you won't type this gibberish. Was it not the same Asaba that I know? Awka beats Asaba hands. The only snag I have seen is the Onitsha-Awka-Enugu federal hiway which is presently undergoing reconstruction.
Dude why are you lying undecided
Comparing Awka and Asaba is just laughable.

Which is your state? Is your state fairing any better than Anambra? Would you stop taking this panadol for another man's aches? What is actually eating you up. Anambra has the highest human capital in Nigeria, so we have them at federal and state levels promoting Nigeria and Anambra in particular.

Anambra is well managed and in good hands. We are among the 5 best governed states in Nigeria with development spanning health, education, employment generation/attraction of FDIs, urban and rural development. etc

Now tell us what your backward and poverty infested state still struggling with red mud houses in their state capital doing?
Another empty chest beater, you don't need to go far, just go to neighboring Asaba, Enugu and Owerri to realize how far back you've fallen.
I'm am from Anambra buy I don't share your obsession with Awo and Yoruba people.
It is becoming a sickness.
To be frank I don't care much about them, apart from that we're from the same country.

Whenever I go back home, if i'm not in my village I pass the night at Asaba.
Awka must be the weakest state capital in Nigeria

The same way I don't understand how Awolowo will be regarded as a hero..A convicted felon, coup planner and sucidal man. Where in the world is someone who killed himself will be worshipped as a hero. What lessons are we teaching the younger generation. Its okay to plan coup and kill yourself when you are caught.
And you need to stop your obsession with Awolowo and Yoruba people.
I don't think the destiny of Igbos should be forged or influenced by anything Awo did or Yoruba is doing.
We are big enough to be successful now withstanding what is happenning in other parts of Nigeria

Obi and his croonies are busy mismaging Anambra while the likes of Ekwueme and Ezekwesili and Nwabuze are busy drinking panadol for Nigeria's issues.
The only Igbo of National repute who spoke on Anambra election was Pat Utomi and he is from delta State.
Igbos need to be more responsible.

You are the one who is mental.
I have never been Yoruba.
I supported Ngige and still feel he was the best to govern Anambra.
But truth be told, Ngige lost the election flat !

Not because he was not the better candidate.
But because Obi and APGA exploited the stupid mentality inherent amongst our Igbo kindred.
Just like the one you are displaying right now.
People like you are part of the problem.

You are the most tribalistic and yet you start crying whenever you are at the receiving end.

he led a futile war were millions of his people perished for nothing only to abscond at the last minute.
He came back and joined the a party led by Northerners against the Igbo party at the time.
He married a girl young enough to be his daughter.
He disowned his own child and had illegitimate children with Norther prostitutes.

It makes me laugh how the same propaganda tactics Ojukwu used to drive many Igbos to their grave is still used in 2013.
So Igbos eally believe that the Yorubas are after their state.
The worrying part is hat the victims will end up being millions of Igbos who will be victims to misrule and bad governance.

Please we need to outgrow this our siege mentality.
So Yorubas need Anambra oil more that all the oil producing states.

Anambra Oil money ke grin grin grin

Saklekplus: The Igbo, one of Nigeria's three major ethnic groups, are an important power bloc in the nation's political equation. Yet, the Igbo nation has strangely failed to make its influence count politically as the major ethnic groups schemed to dominate political power at the centre since the country's return to democratic rule in the Fourth Republic.

My questions are , Will Igbo Ever Rule Nigeria? And what will happen to Nigeria if Igbo were allow to rule Nigeria?
You need to have followed Anambra election to see why.

And how can you want Biafra and Nigeria at the same time
You need to get your priorities right

"Chief Willie Maduabuchi Obiano holds a B.Sc. Second Class Upper in Accounting from Unilag (1979) and an MBA in Marketing also from same university. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA)."

Too be called doctor you must be a qualified medical practitioner or hold a doctorate (PhD)

Obiano as governor should ensure basic primary education so that people like @ceo4eva can learn to read and write.
But I guess doing that will mean he will loose his supporters.

PHIPEX:

Am appalled how a full grown man who may never have stepped his foot on the soil of Anambra and knows next to nothing about its politics will come to tell me whom I should vote to govern me. Who told you that Ngige is a better man for this job, show me your facts and figures. Ngige ruled Anambra for 3years but the only development he could lay hold to were the few roads he tarred in Idemmili LG and its environ which happens to be his home. No single individual here can mention what he did in Anambra North senatorial zone. Can you Mr know all mention a single gutter Ngige constructed in Anambra East and West LGAs? You can google all you like but you can't find any because he concentrated on his home town for 3 whole years. Yet you want these people who bear the brunt to foolishly vote thesame man again for possibly another 8yrs of pain.

Ngige was hailed for the little he did in 2003 because Mbadinuju whom he replaced was a disaster, Obi's record has made a mockery of whatever Ngige would have boasted of but APC supporters want the entire state to be handed over to a failure. If Ngige is an exceptional performer, how come the only thing he did in 2yrs as a Senators of the Federal Republic with half a Billion naira constituency allowance was the construction of a VIP toilet? To make the matter worse, Ngige's running mate was a 2 time Chairman of Anambra west LG and a one time federal House of Rep member yet his village does not have electricity nor access road. What sort of campaign do you expect from such a person and is that the kind of performers you want to rule Anambra? How long do you expect him to fool his people, thank APC lost in his village. If Igbos are ethnically biased as you would have me believe why did Ngige win a senatorial seat on ACN platform? You APC supporters should accept defeat and stop polluting Nairaland with your noise.
Are you sure of what you are saying or are you still propagating those lies being fed to you. This Ngige in Idemili roads story is old and is a cheap lie and you know it. If you want to languish in your ignorance you can carry on.
Politics / Re: The People Of The Southsouth Must Give A Lot Of Thanks TO Alex Ekwueme by bushwailo: 10:48pm On Nov 22, 2013
Yea, old story, everyone knows that Ekwueme is the Archtect of 6 geopolitical zones.
Ben Nwabueze as well is a principal author of Nigeria's constitution.
Then you have Emeka Anyaoku as well former commonwealth sec gen who have done a lot for Nigeria's recognition on the international scene.
Not to talk of Ezekwesili.

What baffles me the most is that these prominent Anambra sons and daughters are busy loosing sleep over Nigeria's issues,
While their home state is going to the dogs, and they won't even utter a word.

Something Fashola had pointed out on a certain occassion.

Sorry but as an Anambra Indegene, I don't have any respect for Ekwueme and his likes.

I have the feeling that even in a free and fair election Ngige will loose massively.
I neglected that fact that the state is littered with backward Biafra and Catholic Bigots who will follow their tribal sentiments even to mass graves like during the Biafran war.
