Politics / Re: Elumelu Exposes Multi-billion Naira Power Sector Fraud by bushwailo: 7:34pm On Sep 15, 2015 |
Even while this happened under PDP, we have to be particular about who is who here. The whole $16b dollar worth of power contracts were awarded under OBJ. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7296466.stm GEJ privatised the power sector bringing in money into government coffers. http://www.nigeriaelectricityprivatisation.com/ Now the same OBJ is busy parleying "Mr Change", while most here have made GEJ the face of PDP. Make we dey talk true for the sake of our children o. PS : But some APC followers are intellectually poor. They are celebrating this unaware that this was a ploy by PDP to expand the scope of PMBs probe agenda to include the OBJ administration. And a dedicated website to explain Nigeria's power sector privatization shows GEJ changed Nigeria in ways only the educated will appreciate. 1 Like |

Tittos:So WE now means Yoruba and cannot mean Igbo ? I told you that ur obsession has reached sickening proportions. My point is simple, apart from a mismanaged and ill conceived war where he compromised millions of the lives he was allegedly trying to save. Ojukwu lacks both the moral and calibre to be accorded any respect. He achieved nothing and was hardly seen in Anambra or Nnewi his hometown There's no single achievement that can be linked to Ojukwu in Igboland |

Chino.Elects:Another empty chest beater, you don't need to go far, just go to neighboring Asaba, Enugu and Owerri to realize how far back you've fallen. I'm am from Anambra buy I don't share your obsession with Awo and Yoruba people. It is becoming a sickness. To be frank I don't care much about them, apart from that we're from the same country. Whenever I go back home, if i'm not in my village I pass the night at Asaba. Awka must be the weakest state capital in Nigeria |

Tittos:And you need to stop your obsession with Awolowo and Yoruba people. I don't think the destiny of Igbos should be forged or influenced by anything Awo did or Yoruba is doing. We are big enough to be successful now withstanding what is happenning in other parts of Nigeria Obi and his croonies are busy mismaging Anambra while the likes of Ekwueme and Ezekwesili and Nwabuze are busy drinking panadol for Nigeria's issues. The only Igbo of National repute who spoke on Anambra election was Pat Utomi and he is from delta State. Igbos need to be more responsible. 2 Likes |

FreeGlobe:You are the one who is mental. I have never been Yoruba. I supported Ngige and still feel he was the best to govern Anambra. But truth be told, Ngige lost the election flat ! Not because he was not the better candidate. But because Obi and APGA exploited the stupid mentality inherent amongst our Igbo kindred. Just like the one you are displaying right now. People like you are part of the problem. You are the most tribalistic and yet you start crying whenever you are at the receiving end. 1 Like |

Don't you think there are some Igbo peeps out there who are nit party to this shit ! This is the same mentality Obi and his cohorts duly exploited in the just concluded elections. 1 Like |

I don't understand how this Ojukwu guy is an Igbo legend/Role model in any way. he led a futile war were millions of his people perished for nothing only to abscond at the last minute. He came back and joined the a party led by Northerners against the Igbo party at the time. He married a girl young enough to be his daughter. He disowned his own child and had illegitimate children with Norther prostitutes. Still some dumb fools still worship the guy Tufia kwa ! 6 Likes |

It makes me laugh how the same propaganda tactics Ojukwu used to drive many Igbos to their grave is still used in 2013. So Igbos eally believe that the Yorubas are after their state. The worrying part is hat the victims will end up being millions of Igbos who will be victims to misrule and bad governance. Please we need to outgrow this our siege mentality. So Yorubas need Anambra oil more that all the oil producing states. Anambra Oil money ke Biko nu, Election is over, Obiano has won You guys should stop disgracing urselves, PLEASE ! Seven serving governors just decamped to APC and they control as much states as APGA in the south east. My guess is that this topic is the handwork of another illiterate. |

Politics / Re: Will The Igbo Ever Rule Nigeria? by bushwailo: 6:14pm On Nov 28, 2013 |
Saklekplus: The Igbo, one of Nigeria's three major ethnic groups, are an important power bloc in the nation's political equation. Yet, the Igbo nation has strangely failed to make its influence count politically as the major ethnic groups schemed to dominate political power at the centre since the country's return to democratic rule in the Fourth Republic. You need to have followed Anambra election to see why. And how can you want Biafra and Nigeria at the same time You need to get your priorities right |

ceo4eva:"Chief Willie Maduabuchi Obiano holds a B.Sc. Second Class Upper in Accounting from Unilag (1979) and an MBA in Marketing also from same university. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA)." http://www.chiefwillieobianoandfamily.com/ Too be called doctor you must be a qualified medical practitioner or hold a doctorate (PhD) Obiano as governor should ensure basic primary education so that people like @ceo4eva can learn to read and write. But I guess doing that will mean he will loose his supporters. Illiteracy is a big problem in Anambra state |

Politics / Re: The People Of The Southsouth Must Give A Lot Of Thanks TO Alex Ekwueme by bushwailo: 10:48pm On Nov 22, 2013 |
Yea, old story, everyone knows that Ekwueme is the Archtect of 6 geopolitical zones. Ben Nwabueze as well is a principal author of Nigeria's constitution. Then you have Emeka Anyaoku as well former commonwealth sec gen who have done a lot for Nigeria's recognition on the international scene. Not to talk of Ezekwesili. What baffles me the most is that these prominent Anambra sons and daughters are busy loosing sleep over Nigeria's issues, While their home state is going to the dogs, and they won't even utter a word. Something Fashola had pointed out on a certain occassion. Sorry but as an Anambra Indegene, I don't have any respect for Ekwueme and his likes. They are useless and not worth my time. 4 Likes |

AtlanticBreeze:Was the flawed elections not perpetuated mostly by Anambrains ? How can Jega stop every INEC official from taking bribe and Anambrains from selling their votes for N500. How come it is easier to rig an election in alaigbo than anywhere else in Nigeria? I am not giving you a bad name, you already have a bad name . You choice of leadership has always been questionable. Our low moral standards and love for money is always causing us problems in Igboland. The same way they chose Ojukwu over Zik is the same way they have Chosen a tribal clique like APGA against a party like APC . How come that during a state election you have not heard from the likes of Ekwueme, Anyaoku, Nwabueze, Ezekwesili, Dora etc. Only Soludo got involved and was disgraced. They are all in Lagos and Abuja talking about Sovereign National Conference while their state is being misruled. Its time Igbo take a good look at themselves. And look at the way you are throwing insults around on the internet and you say i'm giving you a bad name. |

Politics / Re: Anambra Election: APC Petitions INEC Chairman, Seeks Fresh Election, Prosecution by bushwailo: 6:40pm On Nov 21, 2013 |
Ngige should throw in the towel. Whatever Obi did, the initial result is quite damning. I have the feeling that even in a free and fair election Ngige will loose massively. I neglected that fact that the state is littered with backward Biafra and Catholic Bigots who will follow their tribal sentiments even to mass graves like during the Biafran war. |
