Who was the your sponsor
how much was in the account
were there lump sums.

1. My brother

2. I don't want to state the figure, but after settling the fees and every other expenses associated with the program, what is left in his account won't be up to $2,000.

He has a job in Canada. His mindset is to settle the tuition now and travel expenses, and provide the other funds on a monthly basis.

3. No lump sums.

Please when did you submit your application and what date did you receive the refusal?
Please let your GCMS note come first before we know the next step for you.
Thank you

May 2 and Sept 20.

I just got a refusal from IRCC.

The reasons are:

1. Purpose of Study
2. Personal Assets and Financial Status

I have ordered my GCMS notes.

The first concern, I should be able to address that. My problem is the second reason: personal asset and financial status. How do I address that considering that I am being sponsored 100% by a sibling.

I'm in my mid 30s (Male) and presently in my account, I don't have more than 100K there. I have a very small business, but income from this goes to family upkeep.

Please, is there anyone who has been in my situation? What did you do to get approval after your previous approval was denied on the basis of personal assets and financial status.

Thanks in anticipation.

Education / Re: This Is Not My Jamb Result by Businesstools(m): 2:57pm On Jun 28, 2021

You can imagine 2019 i scored 215
2020 I scored 223
How would I scored 210 this year?

Judging by your score alone, we can say that the questions were more difficult than that of the previous years, for you at least. Were you expecting to jump from 223 to 280 and above? Have you put in the effort?

One problem most Nigerians have is we expect good result without work (This is not peculiar to students).

If it's really mass failure as claimed, then these are the possible explanations:

1. The questions became more difficult.

2. JAMB blocked all avenues for malpractices.

3. Both 1 and 2.

Hello guys, as adviced i did some research on masters studies and phd. The cgpa requirements are crazy. My cgpa is 2.81 and their minimum is 3.0. But i found a Pre-master's program in University of Manitoba. What do you think, should i go fo the pre-master's and also its just a year program before applying for the actual masters.

IMHO, There's nothing crazy about 3.0 CGPA. In Nigeria, the requirement for M.Sc. in most universities is 3.0. For professional masters, such as MBA, MPA, MPH, MPM, 2.5 is accepted.
Business / Re: Why Is Foodstuff So Expensive? by Businesstools(m): 12:26pm On Jun 22, 2021
Not only food, the inflation cuts across all spheres, and the reason is not far fetched - greed. Yes, Nigerians are greedy lots. The other day, I bought a leather belt for N2,000. Can you guess how much the seller told me initially? He said N7,000 (Not negotiable). That he bought it a little bit lower than that amount owing to the inflation nationwide. I asked, "what of N5,000?" He said no. I said no wahala and brought my wallet out to show him all that was in it (N2,000), that if he accepts I'll give him all the money. Anything above that, I wasn't interested, and started walking away. The next thing I heard was, "Bring the N2,000. I go manage am."

So you see, greedy Nigerians are the cause of the inflation.

You've been scammed. The earlier you accept the reality, the better.

Next time, please wise-up and don't let your pastor mislead you. S/he is just a human like you.

grin grin angry grin grin angry This your request is somehow funny. You can only swap a used laptop for a used laptop. No laptop company or seller does old swapping for new swapping. Remove your mind from it. All the very best!

True.but I see him appointing from course 35 and 36
PMB just appointed from course 37. I told you it was a possibility.

Oga,coas are not appointed like police igp.it is always among the two most senior NDA courses and always among the top ten most senior officers.it may be political but not as that of igp.infact,I can bet with anything that the coas will be from course 35 or 36

Calm down, even if you're a military man. The person responding to you is also one. Course 35 and 36 are both regular courses, The operational ones among them stand a chance, but if the president has a candidate in regular course 37, he will pick from there and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

True but in the military,it is mostly by seniority

No it's not. Loyalty, branch or corp of the officers and how they are commissioned determines. Just so you know, only regular officers can become service chiefs.

I went out running today, and I said lemme take a picture. All I saw was my hideous and recessed hairline, but I'm only 26 years old.

What do I do?

Bro, can I reach you privately through the number on your profile? There's something I want to discuss with you. It's very important to me. It has nothing to do with the topic. Don't be scared, I am not a scammer, kidnapper or ritualist. My name is Patrick Okunima (You can google me).
