I haven't experienced any of those with my lumia 640XL,as fOr restart, there is a 1MB update that fixed it,word flow keyboard is the best.

Why are you vouching for Lumia 430 when you are using Lumia 640XL. The former has lots of bugs and poor battery from reviews while the one you use is a fully loaded powerhouse. Honestly I felt you're indeed using 430 all the while we spoke.

it doesn't,you can just 200mb in a month depending on what you are doing, even witjhout disabling the "LIVE TILES". Oh shiiiit,I love live tiles....so colourful, buy one and thank me later, choose green or orange!

How about the allegations of many users that the touch response and typing is poor and the phone normally shuts down and restarts at will.

Lumia 430 is just 14k,just buy that and keep your change, its better than all these chinko craps.

I wanted to buy this phone as my second phone but I heard Windows phone drains data a lot e.g it can finish 1Gb in few days without a download. Can you confirm?

I want to appreciate our traditional medicine. I was sometime diagnosed with diabetes and I read that it has no cure. But some month down the line I came across some traditional drug and now am free of diabetes.

What's the use of opening a very interesting thread if you do not care to provide the name of the herbs & details of the cure for others to learn from.

And moreover such unclothedness displays and indecent dressing is the number one promoter of RAPE. Yet these ladies are happy with it yet they complain about rape.

I'll only start taking individuals and government seriously in their anti-rape crusade when they begin to address the "root" cause of rape which is indecent female exposures in movies, music videos and in real life.
Religion / Re: Is God Unfair To Those Raised In Other Faiths? A Nairalander's Lamentation by ByfireByfire: 9:31am On Aug 10, 2015
TheDauraMallam:
Hi,

I'm a Muslim and lately I have been reading many of the questions and answers on [this] site and thought to myself that I needed to express my thoughts and feelings too and hear what you have to say about it.

The two biggest religions in the world, Islam and Christianity both have a rule that is extremely disturbing when the two religions have so many followers and both make a lot of sense.

According to Islam, if you believe Jesus as the Son of God you go to hell, and according to Christianity if you believe that Jesus is not the Son of God you go to hell. Now living in the 21st century, how are we supposed to know what exactly happened in the Middle East 2000 years ago? Of course we cannot know, we can only believe. Lately this has been really stuck on my mind. I still believe in God but I feel very lost and insecure.

People and religions say you should love God, but I do not understand how I could love someone who would put me into hell for eternity based on what I believe about Jesus, even though God knows my situation and knows that I could never be sure about which belief is true. I do not want to lose my faith and I do not want to not have a chance of going to heaven either and so we must do what we can to try to find answers.

In one of your responses you said that no matter how much you have sinned, if you repent and believe Jesus is your savior you will still go to heaven. So on judgment day if I was to see very bad people who have repented and been saved, and if I was a very good person who always believed in God and never did bad things, only small mistakes that we all do and I go to hell being a much better person, then where is the just, merciful, understanding and loving God that I used to know and believe in? It looks as if Christianity shows an easy way out for Christians and makes it impossible for everybody else. I don't like the thought of this as it does not sound fair and at the same time it sounds scary since I am a Muslim.

If God was to toss a coin and ask you "heads or tails? If you are correct you go to heaven, but if you are wrong then you go to hell", then would you see this as a fair way of deciding who goes to heaven and hell? Of course you wouldn't but when you think about it, you have a much better chance this way since it is fifty-fifty. In real life it isn't fifty-fifty between Muslims and Christians, there are more religions too. Knowing that God has the power to do anything, both religions would be possible in terms of who Jesus really was.

I feel insecure but it is not something that can be ignored. My eternal life and all of ours is at stake. Now before you reply, instead of listing more contradictions in the Qur'an and trying to persuade me that your religion is correct, if you could just think what if YOU were born into a Muslim family and it was ME who was born into a Christian family, then who would be correct? Who would go to heaven and hell then? I was born into this game without a choice where if I win I have nothing to gain (Heaven is unneeded if one does not exist) but if I lose than I have everything to lose................

First Method(PRAY): If you are truly sincere, PRAY always and ask God to show you the true religion if he truly exists. You'll be shocked at the certainty of the answer. But remember the number 1 requirement God will look out for is sincerity in inquiry.

Second method(RESULT) : If you don't want the first method, then ask yourself that out of all the religions which one that if a man/woman stictly follows its teachings will yield the RESULT of genuine love, righteousness, holiness, healing for all incurable sickness, deliverance to demon possed, doing the impossible through God's power. Let us overlook the failed, flawed lives of many so called followers of different religions and rather look at the end result of the true teachings of each religion if strictly followed to the letter.

Third Method(LEADER): Ask yourself that out of all the religions existing which one had their main LEADER live the most holy, sinless life, showed genuine love the most, delivered the suffering, possessed and oppressed the most, healed incurable sicknesses the most, LIVED AN EXAMPLARY,SACRIFICIAL, SELF DENYING LIFE THE MOST... and in all that never shed blood or hurt anyone while doing all these good.

IF YOU ARE SINCERE YOU'LL FIND THE ANSWER EASILY.

I'm a hard line,no nonsense Christian but I can tell you categorically that this sept. prophecy of yours is nothing but total complete garbage.

I've seen such Prophecies "countless" times coming from the overzealous but narrow minded Christians in the past.

When every figure and number and combination begins to turn to 666 or some rapture dates or end time signs, just look out and you'd see that the Christian has began to loose it.

Preach the word and live a righteous Christian life are the main requirements. All these trying to make a show & draw attention is spiritual pride.

Dear Nairalanders,

I logged in today and on my profile I saw "I believe that there is no god/God but Allah and Muhammad is His Prophet ."

Is Nairaland now forcing people to convert to Islam?. Though, you people argue it's a religion of peace, but there's no prove on the ground to support this. While, I believe in Allah (because it interprets as God), I dissociate myself from your "peaceful" religion.

I'm a very peaceful man, extremely peaceful that I still have remorse for a goat I killed on Christmas day in 1989. I wish I'd just allowed the goat to live.

I'll rather die than become a Muslim!.

About the goat... bros your conscience is still very very active.
Religion / Re: Where Does The Bible Condemn Gambling? by ByfireByfire: 8:33am On Aug 09, 2015
Folksyharry:
Occasionally someone will ask, “Where does the
Bible condemn gambling?” They would like a
book, chapter, and verse that specifically
mentions the practice.
Like many other sins, gambling is not directly
named in Scripture. It is nonetheless,
condemned in principle numerous times.

Gambling is a violation of faithful
stewardship.

The Bible teaches that what we have belongs to
the Lord and that it is entrusted to us for our
stewardship.
Imagine leaving money to care for your children
with a relative while you were away on a trip.
How would you feel if your relative put the
whole money on Powerball Lotto tickets (or nairabet, merrybet, pool, etc)? The
flippant person will say, “Great if he won!” But
the reality is gambling empires are built on
people losing, not winning.
To put at risk of loss our Father’s money on
games of chance is poor stewardship.
1 Cor. 4:2
Lk. 12:42
1 Pet. 4:10

gambling ignores the welfare of
your neighbor.

Gambling ignores the law of love for one’s
neighbor. It is a zero-sum game. It is stealing
by deception, because the loser, even though
he grants permission never anticipates losing.
Love for other people means acting in their best
interest even when they do not.
Matt. 22:39
Rom. 13:10
1 Cor. 10:24

Gambling is dishonest.
Gambling violates the principle of doing honest
work for one’s bread. It places your prosperity
in the hands of Lady Luck, rather than a fair
exchange of value for value. Lady Luck owes
you nothing!
2 Thes. 3:10

Gambling enslaves.
Gambling is highly addictive. According to the
National Gambling Impact Study Commission,
15 to 20 million adults and adolescents have
either problem or pathological gambling
addictions, which is about 5-7 percent of the
U.S. population.
1 Cor. 6:12
Gal. 5:23

Gambling sets an evil example.
How many parents who truly love their children
would want them to experience the negative
consequences of of gambling addiction? Your
influence on others either makes this world a
better place, or it leads your friends and
neighbors farther away from Christ.
Rom. 12:17;
1 Tim. 4:12; 5:14;
2 Pet. 2:2.

Gambling is often a gateway to
crime.

Gambling is the frequent companion with other
vices, e.g., stealing, drugs, prostitution.

Gambling destroys families.
Gambling is the destroyer of numerous homes.
It takes food, clothing, and medical care from
wives and children
1 Tim. 5:8

Gambling destroys the soul.
Gambling is the enemy of mental peace. It
brings fear and anxiety. It creates an obsession
with money that consumes the gambler. The
suicide rate among gamblers is very high.
Let every person who wishes to honor God and
respect his neighbor avoid this noxious habit
altogether.

It's not a general network challenge. It's a daylight robbery. Trust me.

Has there been any time Etisalat or any provider had a negative network challenge that coincidentally benefited the masses like free credit or 1Gb data accidentally appearing on subscribers lines? Yet every time there's accidental deductions to subscribers airtime and data that never gets refunded.

Believe me this is a calculated fraud and all of them do it at different times because they know they can get away with it in Nigeria.

Jewish extremist, its as if almost every religion now has its fair share of extremist.

I do not support Jewish extremism but it is very clear that this very type is very very rare especially having to do with taking a life and the Jewish govt always condemn it and arrest and punish the culprits.

Compare this to Palestinian or any Islamic extremism bloodshed that are countless in number and their govt actively support them and secretly and openly support them and give them arms and no arrests or punishment is executed against the perpetrators instead they are called heroes.

Is it the same Palestinians that use their children as human shields in a war? I wonder.

1. Mass Murder
- When a Muslim commits mass murder it is equated to terrorism
- When a non-Muslim commits mass murder is it is called a chance act or one off

2. Doing Good
- When a Muslim does good it is called a rare occurrence
- When a non-Muslim does good it is considered to be the norm.

3. Abuse and insults.
- When a Muslim reacts angrily to provocative comments he is called aggressive and violent
- But when non-Muslims insult , mock , curse and abuse Muslims it is generally ignored and considered fair game.

4. Jerusalem
- When the Muslims conquered Jerusalem, they made everyone live together in some form of peace even though they had their fair share of killing.
- But when the Crusaders invaded Jerusalem they killed almost everyone who disagreed with them inclining Jews, Muslims, women and and children.

Think about it guys.

Fornication & adultery hv nevr bn condemndd the way we condemn homosexuality.

Depends on where you live and church you worship. All the places I've lived from Port Harcourt to Enugu to Owerri and Lagos, I can witness that I've seen fornication and adultery being fiercely & openly condemned in buses in market places, on road sides, folks Preaching on streets as early as 5 am in the morning and much more. Its even on radio stations many times.

And yes I fully support it even if it were true that people are harder on homose'xuality because it's far worse and nauseating in my opinion. It makes animals better than us cos its so unnatural.

Do you recognize the type of disgusting feeling when you hear a man/woman decended so low to level of sex with an animal. Its the exact same feeling for homose'xuality. And if it doesn't disgust you then there's certainly a horrible degeneration inside.

Because homose'xuality is toooooo unnatural to the extent animals as filthy as they are don't even engage in it.

However you are wrong cos fornication and adultery are actively condemned and preached against in living churches on full time basis.
