Villarreal have been rocked by the news that two of their two first-choice central defenders will miss Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final first-leg against Arsenal at Highbury. Villarreal are also missing first-choice goalkeeper Sebastian Viera through suspension. too bad. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Juventus To Lose Scudetto? by c0dec(m): 12:27pm On Apr 17, 2006 |
we've now gone 6 games (including CL) without a win. at this rate, we're bound to lose the scudetto to milan and spirits are not high. anyway. . . milan won't beat roma. FORZA JUVE |

like u dont go off-topic on other threads mr. impaq. if juve had qualified, i would have logically said juve vs barca. let me tell, i may be an italian football faithful but i do not like milan and i dont want them winning this CL. milan fans can be very annoying. so lordimpaq, dont let the fear of defeat make u say shit. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Ac Milan Vs Barcelona by c0dec(m): 10:18am On Apr 16, 2006 |
this guy. barca will embarass your team and you'll see why u need those 5 defenders. no doubt most of what you said about my team is true, i wont argue (though you wouldn't have said any of this during the first half of the season). hopefully, mr moggi and crapello will finally listen to the fans and get a world class creative midfielder to replace nedved. word has it that the czech, tomas rosicky is being considered but i dont rate him highly (he's as good as maresca whom capello sent off to sevilla. he sent away all the creative players that would have made a difference against arsenal - miccoli and tacchinardi). we need a young midfielder with a bright future like we've had with muller, jugovic, zidane, nedved (i no mind kaka - but we know kaka is milan for life). yes emerson needs to move on. the guy is too slow abeg. from being our best player last season, zlatan has been the biggest Bleep-up this season but i still like the guy and i know he'll be back to top form after the world cup. that said may barca brush you guys. FORZA JUVE! |

i've played all the PES (Pro and winning eleven) games from ISS Pro to winning eleven 3 to PES 5 and i can tell u that a keyboard player stands no chance agains a ps2 player. i just bought PES 5 on PC, together with PS2 controller and a PS2 to USB adapter of course. there's no way i'm using a keyboard. no way. |

thanks a lot man but you don't' have to do everything on the list. it's just a list of the effects i have to implement using pixel/vertex shaders. i've written the most of the shaders for the effects. all i need are just models so ignore the particle systems - i've got them working already. i'm writing my own engine (basic really) using directX so i'll have to export whatever model you give me to the X file format (or if you've got an X file exporter, maybe you could export them for me). handling animations with the X file format will be a pain and time-consuming so you can just ignore the running soldiers - it's not neccessarily a requirement so to summarise, these are the models i'll more or less need: - airplanes - walls (3d quads), building strutures - flag (with a pole) - bottles, compases (any war-type instrument that might reflect or refract light) - battletanks, guns, any other thing your imagination (and time) can conjure up. i'll search for terrain models on the internet. thanks a lot man, you're a lifesaver. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Ac Milan Vs Barcelona by c0dec(m): 9:37am On Apr 15, 2006 |
barca is the only team that deserves the CL being that they are the only "champions" left. the champions cup was originally a competition for only league champions. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Milan Derby by c0dec(m): 8:23pm On Apr 14, 2006 |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Milan Derby by c0dec(m): 4:18pm On Apr 14, 2006 |
the biggest derby in the world. inter are under massive pressure to win this but inter fans don't give a sh*t. all inter hopes were on the CL and the team blew. inter fans are not even going to support their team tonight in protest of their lacklustre performance against villareal. milan on the other hand are only playing for pride and want to get revenge for their losing to inter earlier this season. and milan still have hopes of the scudetto now that my team, juve, have been fucking up recently (5 games without a win). my prediction. milan will win simply because they are mentally superior to inter. |

hey man . how u been? i'm actually doing a demo showcasing battlefield effects using vertex and pixel shaders (course work ) a. Shiny airplanes rendered using basic illumination model. b. Bumpy brick walls rendered with bump mapping and Parallax mapping techniques c. Animated water surfaces d. Sky and mountains using cube mapping technique e. Fire, smoke, and explosions rendered with particle systems techniques f. Animated satin battle flags simulated using anisotropic illumination techniques. g. Reflection and refraction effects generated from shiny and transparent objects in the battle field, such as water surface, glass battles, mirrors. h. Any other models and effects you want to add to increase the realism of the battlefield. i've got most of the shaders working (RenderMonkey saves the day ). i now have to put in a proper battlefield demo. unfortunately, my artistic mind is failing me so maybe you can help me out. i don't have much time though, just barely a week. the guns aren't really important as they just going to be lying around with dead soldiers. if you've got animated md2 models of running soldiers or a link to one, i'd really appreciate it but it's not so important. (low polygons please because i still have to load in a large terrain) it's the war vehicles such as the battletanks that would be swell . if you've also got airplanes too and ammo models (mortars, shells), that'll be grand. i don't' have a perfect idea of how's everything going to look like yet and i'm not exactly a war games fan (but i think i'm going to love "killzone" when the PS3 hits). i'd prefer a link rather than an email. but if its easier for u to email, then send it to c0dec7@yahoo.com thanks a lot man. i owe u one. |

hey does anybody here have 3D war models (3ds preferably). battletanks, helmets, grenades, and the rest? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Vs Villarreal by c0dec(m): 10:48am On Apr 13, 2006 |
FORZA TACCHINARDI! you believe forlan can be checked easily? he's the best striker yet your defense will be coming up against. tacchinardi has got riquelme's back. he doesn't take shit. i only wonder now why crapello let him go. and arsenal has to be wary of sorin (he's a real handful). and just like arsenal not being an english team, villareal is not a spanish team. it's a latin american team. well good luck to villareal. i hope they go all the way. 1st champions league, 1st win. fairy tale stuff. |
Nairaland / General / Re: Your Winning Eleven! by c0dec(m): 10:37am On Apr 13, 2006 |
correct Fimmy. FORZA MICCOLI. he's dangerous anyday and i hope lippi takes him to the world cup. didn't put him cos i haven't been following the portuguese league. i know u must be a hard juve fan but kovac, thuram, emerson shouldn't be on anybody's list. i hope they get either quit or get sold next season. |
Nairaland / General / Re: Your Winning Eleven! by c0dec(m): 9:47pm On Apr 12, 2006 |
JosBoy4Lif: yeah my list is based on current form and those are the two leagues i follow most. i considered rooney but there was no more space. and for those that don't know, luca toni is hot! 27 league goals already with about 5 games to go. you could argue that xavi shouldn't be on that list since he's just coming back from injury so i'll put in Steven Gerrard in his place but then i'm not even sure of his current form. @mochafella: whats up man. FORZA JUVE! |

yo man, i'm a neutral when it comes to EPL and it's only logical/natural for me to spite arsenal after their CL heroics. i just found the random pic and decided to stir things up. |

hey bolaoni, i gats support my man now . FORZA JUVE. you make it sound like tacchi is like 40. he's only 30yrs abeg oh. he definitely didn't score in the 95/96 CL. you must be mistaking him for someone else. and yeah he's an icon and we juve fans respect him a lot. 11yrs at Juve no easy. @skintite: let me teach u some small italian, "Forza juve" translates to "Go Juve". guess what MERDA ARSENAL means. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Gunners Will Be Down In Turin by c0dec(m): 10:33am On Apr 07, 2006 |
Skintite: there's already an arsenal-juve thread. i posted there immediately after the match. i will never forsake my team. i can understand why you're over the top with celebrations. it's your very first semi-final after all. we've been there, done that and try and edit your profile. i keep thinking you are male. yo lordimpaq, you're all noise now abi? wait till the realities of football dawn on you, i'll be right there with a big smile. unfortunately, over the two legs, our creative trio couldn't play together (DP, nedved, camo). FORZA JUVE! |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Ac Milan Vs Barcelona by c0dec(m): 10:19am On Apr 07, 2006 |
it's going to be an all-spanish final. that said, milan is desperate to win this CL after what happened to them last year and also they can't win the scudetto. they might be the oldest team but they've got speed and potential danger in serginho, sheva, inzaghi, gilardino and kaka (who is much more religious than ronaldinho and my second best midfielder). this is a team of hungry champions but with current form, barca should come thru. the only team i can support now is villareal, since Juve-man, Tacchinardi, is on loan there together with my best midfielder, Riquelme. FORZA TACCHI, FORZA RIQUELME, FORZA VILLAREAL |
