Ujujoan:That's the big deal. She's his EX! |
what an analogy. it flew right over my head. |
Ha this reminds me that I need to get like 2 or 3 crowns done |
raw! |
It's really not that much of a debacle, really. I think the problem here is that atheists here ask a barrage of questions without wanting to answer any questions themselves. Someone made a claim that the universe has always been in infinite existence without being created. How is this possible? The atheist does not want to believe in the existence of God because it's beyond the realm of their understanding IMHO, yet they want us to accept that some esteemed alien computer with three boobs somehow brought about the universe. |
bawomolo:My exception is not invalid because I'm not looking for a scientific proof to buttress my point. I answered your question by saying that the only way the universe could have spanned an infinite space irrespective of time is if it had been created by a deity that exists irrespective of time. The only primordial subject I can think of is God. Unless of course you know of any others and you have proof. |
duduspace:I am not excluding anything. THere are two arguments here, both of which are under scrutiny. How can the universe have existed infinitely without having a beginning, can you answer that question? You keep bringing up my mention of God to try to escape that question. Lol @ referring to the universe as God, come on now put on your thinking cap. I just skimmed over this page from the top, and I'm basically saying the same thing Prizm has said earlier. If you can understand this, you're set. If you have a difficult time understanding it we won't get anywhere. |
posakosa:you only crammed when you needed to? if you do that your report card will fill up with C's in a hurry. |
I think you are right that better time management would better my odds. Although I can almost say with 100% certainty that no college student at this school goes to sleep before 9/10, with the exception of maybe weekends. The workload is neverending and simply too much. You can't afford to do that because you will fall behind. Most students go to class during the day and can only study at night.
TV in a student bedroom is bad. take your tv away. get a leather rich lavender soap and soak your self in the tub with plenty of soothing lavender candles. dry up and go straight to bed.
Ah ahn so that I can become the laughing stock of the boys abi? LAvender candles, body all soaked up in tub . chineke I'm almost never home to watch the thing, except at nights anyhow. All of last year I didn't even have a TV. I can't get rid of the TV because I am under contract with comcast cable for at least 6 months. |
Okay no sleeping pills for sure. I exercise basically everyday. The gym is my 2nd or 3rd home. And yes I always have to shower after the excess exercise, because I can't bring myself to sleep since the odor/sweat itches my body if I lay down without taking a shower. I didn't even know that eating immediately before bed is counter-productive to the goal I wanted to accomplish. I always imagined that it aided my sleep. |
duduspace:1st of all, yu can't prove to me that the "God of Abraham" does not exist - if I bother trying to prove to you that he does exist, you would discard scripture as an unacceptable source. Secondly, from your scientific angle it wouldn't make sense to you anyway that something somehow exists independent of time. That said, scientifically, how can the universe have existed infinitely without having began somewhere? |
I fail to understand how you can make this assertion yet claim the universe can never be infinite. . . .it's just strange!
You should have said that you failed to understand what was said. I asked how the universe could have been in infinite existence without having ever started "somewhere" somehow. Someone else must have made the claim you are referring to. |
Maybe he is not completely over her? |
posakosa:ARe you saying the caffeine is not that much of a problem? When you are ready to sleep turn off all electronics,I don't know about that. I leave my TV on whenever I'm home. When I go to bed my TV is the only device in operation. When I wake up my TV is on. Without it I would have to stare at my ceiling while tossing/turning on my bed trying to pass time or fall asleep. Breaking my computer like 2 weeks ago doesn't help either. My only other remedy would be to load my stomach with enough food to make me tired, and after a while that alone would make me want to sleep. otherwise you may also have some sleep condition/disorder.Maybe I need some kind of medication then, yeah? |
Stress, caffeine, insomnia- I guess yea all of these things would apply to me. I always thought just sleeping early is enough to fix the irregularity. |
how is it possible for the universe to have been in infinite existence without ever starting. do you know of anything that exists infinitely without ever having a beginning (lone exception being the God of Abraham of course, who happens to exist independent of time). |
ThiefOfHearts:might be true actually. i usually don't drink coffee, but over the past 8 weeks it has been my standard liquid of choice. if not coffee then it's fanta or mountain dew. good to know. i will steer in a different direction. posakosa:not work, school. only thing is, my classes range from like 10am to 8pm. how does that make things different? |
Lol @ girl22 and her history lessons. your posts are a delight to read. girl22 are you still denial, trying to convince yourself that blacks are the inventors and rulers of everything? |
funcy:You would normally think you are married to the right person until the wahala begins. |
I need help with correcting my sleep cycle. I sometimes go to bed at 2am, only to wake at 5:30am to watch TV before going back to sleep at 7am and finally getting out of bed at 8:45am. I sometimes go to bed at 3:30am and end up getting out of bed at 7am to read or watch TV There are times I sleep at 1am, get up at 4am and have difficulty falling asleep, so I stay up for 2 hours to browse the computer and finally go back to sleep before getting out of bed when my alarm goes off. Is there a way to fix this? I have tried sleeping early but it doesn't work. No matter what I usually get up earlier/later than I would like to. Suggestions? |
you are trying to choose who's better among a herd of no good leaders? he may have done some things better than others, i can agree with you on that much. |
obasanjo fa%&$d up the country? what about the crooks before him? he was happy to continue the legacy of his predecessors. |
debest1 you no see say the girl fine small. you suppose help am |
must be a joke of a post. pretender |
WHich one is ummm. you be thief You better go in search of your calabar boy |
I told you on page 3 or so that you have found him. |
Actually we don't need to "convince" our selves that there is a god because you guys do not even have a coherent and universally acceptable definition of what god is. . . . . .what really do you mean by god?who is "you guys"? there is only one true God. Your Alpha and Omega. |
posakosa:should that happen are you willing to split the profits with me? |
@ RubiWell said. And tell the husband not to talk to her as much. If he cares about her feelings he would be able to compromise with her on that much. |
atheists already have a hard enough time convincing themselves that there is no God. |
