I want to believe this is IBTC MMF account. Note that IBTC has since changed the way it handles interest accumulation and re-investment. Not as straight forward as other MMF. With the little I understand, when you see the subscription for a particular day, it does not mean all the accumulated interest for all days before that day. Interest accumulates daily but are reinvested according to their new system which I myself still trying to understand. If you check very well. You will notice that interest accumulate but the re-investment is done in bits. you may accumulate say N2,500 between Jan 1 to Feb 10 and they may decide to invest N520 on the 10th of Feb base on their new system. So don't worry too much it's their way. However, you can call their customer service to explain to you how their system works in terms of accrued interest and investment of interest. I hope this help

Quite a lot sir.

Thanks for the flashlight. Now I can see what's moving in the shadows.

You already served the customer care purpose. No need to ring them

God bless you and bless us all in our struggles

Greetings full house.

Please can someone enlighten me on this issue?

Btw February 7 to February 13 is 3 working days which is Friday, Monday & Tuesday so that by 13th of February, I'm supposed to have an interest of 4 days but when I look at the interest column on 13th, I see #48.53k.

This can't be right

Can someone help me out on this before I lodge any complaint?

MODIFIED*

Even between January 31 to February 7 is a long gap with that interest too. I look worried about it

I don't agree with number 3 except God isn't the foundation.

I have a few Christian friends who never started a relationship but prayed to God and they got their fairytale wives.

Infant, one of them told me when you're ready, first ask God to forgive you for condemning igbo, calabar, edo, yoruba, etc. Who are you to condemn what God has created in the first place? Your place isn't the best.... There are good people everywhere as much as there are bad people too.

Open your heart with fasting and prayer and ask him to give you your woman no matter her tribe. He did this every night and on the second night, he said he had a dream where he was walking and from afar, two ladies called his name. He recognized them real life from the first place he had lived as the ladies ran towards him. Inches away from him, the junior sister stopped and stepped aside to let her senior sister hug him.

They hugged for couple of seconds and caught up with life and in an instant, he woke up with a voice he heard saying "what you're looking for, you have seen it except you're looking otherwise."

The following morning, he called his aunt to ask the whereabouts of that girl. Got her contact number from his aunt and called her. Immediately he said "hello", the lady called his name and he was shocked because this is someone he hasn't seen for 15yrs.

Fastforward>>> the lady came to Lagos but what he saw wasn't his taste. No boobs, no butts, looks a little unkept and doubts started creeping in and then he said he heard again "what you're looking for, you have seen except you want otherwise."

That was the instant he made up his mind. Invited her over to his one room and proposed to her before she traveled back. Little did he know that all the locks in his life, she had the keys as everything started blossoming for him ever since she came to his life.

God already knows our perfect fit if only we ask Him. Most of us saying you have to date a girl to know her usually get it wrong cos we judge from canal knowledge. It takes forever to study a woman so if you think dating her for just a few months is enough, think again and put God first.

She's pretty, busty, curvy, slashy, are all normal judgment from men to stand out amongst friends

For money market funds that I know about of which I have account with them (fbnquest, stanbic and mansard), the minimum holding period is 30days. Anytime after 30 days, you will be free to withdraw your money either in part or full without any charges.
As at Friday,
FBNquest: 13.66%
Mansard : 13.46%
I don't trust stanbic rate bcoz they credit a little below their displayed rate.
Based on this, these money market funds suit your taste

Do you mean stanbic is poor at money market rate? I used to do with mansard but I closed down late last year and instead of going back there, I opted for stanbic.

The only thing I hate so far from stanbic is the fact that the rates per day aren't displayed.
Romance / Re: 35-Year-Old Man Tries To Woo 23-Year-Old Lady On Facebook. Then This Happened. by C505: 6:45am On Jan 27, 2019
PrettyCrystal:
A young lady who claims to be 23 years old, has taken to social media to reveal her displeasure following her conversation with a 35-year-old admirer who wooed her on Facebook.

The lady identified as Daniela Umebuani, shared her chats with the man online which show how he tried to win her as she berated him for insulting her and her mom after she rejected him.

The lady who said the man is too old for her - told him to get out of her sight after telling him to take his experience to his age range.

This angered the man who in return hurled insults at her and even her mother.

Internet users have reacted to the post, with most blaming the lady for being at fault and too harsh on the "old" man.

They said there are various ways she would have politely declined advances from the man without being rude.

See her conversation with the man below.

If he was a 50yrs old white man, he won't be too old to be her father.

Most Nigerian girls marrying white men, marry them with their grey hair.

It was a savings account that he used. From what I gathered from this page the bank charge should be 0.125*7M=875,000.
Am I the one who isn't doing the maths right?

Aren't you suppose to divide the 0.125% by 100?

Now that I see the bank stop rate is fair but they're not being professional, I'll put my coming 2M in the secondary market since I can't place a bid of my choice in the primaries

From information I gathered, it's around 14.3%. others should confirm. It wasn't close to the closed rate of 15%.

Yes you're right. It's 14.3%

That's what they calculated for me too

46750 plus bank charges

Does bank charges differ from bank to bank?

Also, is the bank charges in the primary market different from the secondary?

The charges I'm acquainted to is 0.125%

1.7m * 14.7/100 * 364/364 = 1.7m * 0.147 * 1 = 249900.

T n P applies sha = there are associated charges per bank

This is exactly what I got when I did my calculations too. And if the bank charges is over 5grand, not to sound too greedy, it's a bit up cos I thought the charge is just 0.125

Please I bid for TB at 14.7% for 364 days with 1.7M and just got credited with 243'000.
Debit is 1'456'745
From my calculation, it's less than 14.7%. I'm not sure if I'm correct but can anyone do the arithemetic for me?

My account debited, interest not paid.

Successful or not, shouldn't I have gotten my total investment or interest already?

Do I write to stanbic?

Morning my fellow money conscious people. My last question here got some good responses and further queries but I can't explain why I couldn't reply again. Being hearing of being banned but in this case it happened only on this thread. That said would love to thank all that stopped by. If I still have further queries, now that the system has given me reply option. I wouldn't mind attempting them.

My fellow "go to jail" partner....too bad get out of jail cards don't work here. Why was i banned sef? (In Indian tongue)...for tailing d trut.

Here i am thinking the only TAC was "please do not post adverts in this section, to avoid being banned".

you can get 14.5 in the secondary market nah. I did with diamond and gtbank @14.5%

So, if you are allowed to choose your own rate, aim higher like 15.5%

Much appreciated. I've always bought from the secondary. I only decided to try the primary once to see the difference

God bless you

You can only bid with your own rate if you have N50m and above otherwise, you will have to make do with whatever rate the bank bids at the primary market.

Afternoon guys

I obtained a tbills form from stanbic today in anticipation on the upcoming primaries.
Kindly throw in your suggestions what rate one can assume to get for 365days with less percent chance of it falling through.
I'm thinking of bidding at 14.5%. What's your stance?

Greetings nairalanders

I've been sourcing the internet a few days now in search of a very good scooter....brand new or could be used to buy between now and now.

I've always loved bikes and rode my first bike 7yrs ago for 2yrs before getting a car. However, with the unbearable traffic in lagos, I've decided to get me a bike for easy access to and fro work.

Particularly, I'm looking for the Honda forza 125CC like the pix below but in the absence of this, I'm open to any alternative similar to this scooter
