Crime › Re: Christians Killing Muslims In Onitsha by cabali(m): 9:20pm On Feb 24, 2006
Well, 2 wrongs cant make a right no doubt. It isnt right. But i must say i grew up in Kano and i have witnessed in several cases where xtians are infact slaughtered and dumped in wells and on the streets.
It is horrible! A faction of muslims just feel it is their duty to fight and kill for the prophet but this isnt right!
God does not ask us to fight for him as well so the killings are as demonic and criminal as those peformed by some notherners in the north, mayb we shud not discuss this in this friendly forum of ours, dont u think?

Computers › Re: Oracle DBA Corner by cabali(op): 2:36pm On Feb 23, 2006
I expected to have pple talk on this cos i know there are pple with oracle knowledge here

thanx for ur idea sesal! i think u r right about a meeting point.
But I actually know about creating a user;

My issue is adding a user to a password file. for instance if u have two databases already created and one of them is accessed using conn sys/change_on_instal as sysdba. and the other conn sys/different_password as sysdba(for instance). one of the database opens by default over the other; while oracle sid=2nd db. now, even when oracle sid is set for the 2nd db, u cud still access using sys/change_on_instal which happens to be linked with the password file of the first db, now question is how can this be prevented entirely!
Computers › Oracle DBA Corner by cabali(op): 8:14pm On Feb 14, 2006
Hey, I don't read much on oracle in the forum. I am preparing for OCA certificate and i sure do need some help on it since I am studying at home with almost no external help; I presume there could be others like me hence this zone, you can share views, ideas, experience at this corner no matter what your level is ( in-view, OCA, OCP, OCM and so forth)

I will appreciate your every posts! and bear in mind it is educative! someone might need that idea of yours.

I want to start by asking how to add users to a database; open a password file for the database with which one can access the database without having to set 'oracle SID=' Any ideas?

Technology Market › Re: The Ikeja Computer Village by cabali(m): 8:34pm On Jan 10, 2006
the village has its good and bad.

I have bought phones there at good prices and functioning well. i have also bought software CDs with completely nothing in them...that i consider a form of insolence to my laptop.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Do Certifications Really Improve Your Chances of Getting a Job? by cabali(m): 8:24pm On Jan 10, 2006
well I think the most important thing is the passion....if u do these cert. for the money it will bring, u will hit bottom but with the right passion u could even work in a low salary spot and that passion shows out tour employers and finally they will be paying to keep u from taking all the experience else where
Christianity Etc › Re: Mocking God? by cabali(m): 5:10pm On Jan 10, 2006
Believing the stories isnt so important here. Just heed the warning not to mock God period! if u do then only He(GOD) will decide whether ur story will add up to these ones or not!
Christianity Etc › Re: Mocking God? by cabali(m): 5:08pm On Jan 10, 2006
LAYI, dont mind these pple, u have sent ur message of warning.

it doesnt matter if u all dont believe these stories-u mustnt but he who thinks God CAN be mocked should try making statements like these and find out if u r gr8r than God or not...ur judgement may not come immediately cos different pple have various time of grace and God decides that with no apologies to anyone, God does not have to answer seun or anyone why Bimbo died. all am saying is that if u mess with God or His name, u WILL be nailed or He will allow u time to repent.

@everyone else. I dont care if these stories are real but i know about a few of them. All that matters is that the stories gave me a thought and helped me in seeing God more respectfully and being carefull about what comes out of my mouth as concerns God
Politics › Re: The Gbenga Obasanjo Interview by cabali(m): 4:51pm On Jan 10, 2006
Look! this is all crazy!

These people are all thieves...that we know but i am goin to stand with Atiku on this one; this is cos gbenga has no moral right to talk about the imorality of Atiku. if he was in the same position he would probably have done worse.

he announced on radio that there wasnt any interview from him.....these fools are also getting daft o!

where is the greed....why has not spoken abt his father's friend...annenih who took billions of naira for road construction and nothing was done...at least atiku is using his stolen money to buy businesses thereby creating jobs....this doesnt make him right but sure makes him better than his fellow thieves
Dating And Meet-up Zone › Re: Can You Chike A Girl Right Now(on Nairaland)? by cabali(m): 8:51pm On Jan 06, 2006
the thing is this......all the ladies say the lines are wack or lame like they cud do better....these lines, even if sound wack and all, cud be very effective.....it depends on packaging and presentation......if packaging and presentation is right, these same girls wud fall for lines even more stupid than these ones they acuse as lame
TV/Movies › Re: 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' in Nigeria by cabali(m): 4:41pm On Dec 19, 2005
well i appreciate ur doubts.....i am really frank's blood brother.....mother and father he is the first, there is a girl then me, the third and finally another girl. and we are evidently proud of him
TV/Movies › Re: 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' in Nigeria by cabali(m): 4:21pm On Dec 16, 2005
the programme is actually not an emulation.....it is still supervised by the original initiators in europe. it has the same standards and all. it is in fact on air in over a hundred countries and do u all remember Amita banchang(if the spelling is right)? he hosts the one in india!

Frank is the youngest of all the presenters world-wide!

@z4m4eva it is not 'copying' cos the franchise owners are the ones in control...it is like opening a branch of ur business in another country
TV/Movies › Re: 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' in Nigeria by cabali(m): 4:07pm On Dec 16, 2005
well, the host of the show happens to be my brother....am glad to read all this abt him and the show.....i will direct him to read this himself. it is encouraging
