But it is a shame that UBA result is ready while the big boys Zenith and gtb are not.
Never follow the crowd. I have noticed that any stock most chased lik that don't do well. Take Skye Bank, FCMB, Zenith , Transcorp..ect as at when the euphoria is high. Cos all eyes are on it. I always go the opposite. Way when such happens. More like ...warren buffet analogy of be afraid when others are....

"Wale Tinubu Group CEO of Oando says the company will pay off its existing $450 million in debts in about 2 years.
Tinubu who was speaking at the economist summit said the firm will clear its existing debt (which is down from $900 million) by paying $50 million a quarter over the next 18 – 24 months.
Other thoughts shared by Tinubu include:

Second tier FX market is probably needed for non CBN priority sectors to improve liquidity and inflows.
Capital Expenditure (Capex) in Oando’s Joint Ventures (JVs) down to $150 million out of a budget of $1 billion.
NNPC is in arrears of $10 billion with JV partners.
Need deregulation in downstream sector."

I can hold DANGCEM until cement is no longer useful in construction across Africa. grin
NB: I don't have a single unit of it yet.
Don't bank on that , Dansuger came to market at N18 around 2006....? where is it now. Suger is used more than cement in Nigeria. There is no stock to bank on in Nigeria for that long. The attitude of our people is what needs to change first. NSE is over manipulated by corrupted individuals.

Oando just wiped out minority shareholders systematically from OER and people still get mind to drop their hard earned cash into oxygen. It is well.
Which is better. We knw how much was lost in organizations lik...unity bank,Transcorp, flourMills, those stocks have lost close to 57% of its price...yet..we still de..so why not focus.

I will load up on Oando if it hits N2.5... as far as I remember they still have a hedge at N65 on the COP production... but I will read up on that first sha before making my decision
I agree with you 100%. I have more than 60% of my portfolio in Oando....i remembered when everyone here was buzzing abt the "Oxygen Boys" lol. I have told Wify to chill for vacation for now...am ready to hit big or die trying on this. See oil price now gradually appreciating. Making money is not easy.

hmm... each time I hear "read page 1 to the end" I just hmmm. Do you know what it actually takes to do so? Some times it is better to not advice than to give one that would place the receiver in greater burden and a more confused state.
This is because Most black people like Nigerians don't read, so the best place to hide information is to put it in writing\Book.
Now this guy needs info for free, and was told to read for Free ooo..and you are here defending..

Do you think next year is a JIJO year? For me i think its a year of real investment in the sense you buy a stock at cheap price like they are now and watch the prices soaring.JIJO will only favour your brokers while you are in a haste to sell between 5 to10% profit which is nothing to compare with 100% profit.

wishing everyone in this forum a happy xmas and a prosperous new year.
Bros, u sound like the " FatherOf2 " back in the day of stock market before the crash, Pls confirm

I noticed that the quantity traded in OandO has been very lean, 230k , today 705k units,
Please does that signify that investors are not selling or what ?, and why is the stock still on Full offer
will there be the possibility of a turn around is close-by, when there are no more sellers ??

Boyzz are not sleeping...see forum !! grin
something tells me their Q3 result will normalize this bomb shell. OandO is not BigTreat that sells bread !!, I know how much I lost then.
my gut feeling is..if OandO drops to N7, i will buy more if it stays at sub N9, I will stay action and maintain my current holding,
As Peterichy says, Not for short term funds,

You guys shouldn't get too excited about the spike in volume of OandO's shares traded today especially the crossed deal. Like someone already mentioned, only time will prove who made the right decision between the buyer and seller.
What if one of the big boys got sick and tired of them Ocean and Oil clique and sold his holding to them. My point is today's trade is not sufficient to make any sensible deduction from. Let's keep watching trades in the coming days. Temper your optimism with caution.
Bros , did u see that the stock is on Bid ??, analysis paralysis kills, rather than set your exit price with the kind Bull that will hit OandO now, u are creating fear..me, I seat there quietly with my 220k units, average price now N16.60, still adding though, hoping to use proceeds accumulate more FloorMills..I must quit my job 2016.

from inspection ,you have never been a serious person. if my guts are right you might just be a school student

I have checked you out ,and hundred percent of the time you have never been serious.

This is a serious place and if something is not done about you and your likes, information would be hardly given out here.

check for your self ,when last has there been meaningful statements ,recommendations, suggestions ,ideas here.

the trend is just long without any true content. check out her past and you would find out . check out every serious comment is accompanied by a stupid quote or smiley ,especially from ihedisomething,agbasomething,etc.... isn't Stockbull still its moderator.

I'm not the kind of person that would allow anything goes... I think we need only serious humans here. most might just be robots.

we need the next bright ideas, next vision, next levels, more seriousness and less students here. Do have a nice day. Regards.

I'm ogbs2020love ,and I'm only trying to make common sense.
Oga, U made my day !, remember I had to ask him one day to share his portfolio information, he never knew my intention.
Once I read any quotes here and it makes no sense to me , I immediately look up the poster, and 100% of the time its Ihedi. embarassed

I also ask myself same question, all valuation methods show that most of our banking stocks are currently selling below their intrinsic values. If I win $1 million lottery what percentage will you invest in the stock market?
Oga, u see that Nobody answered ur question, because its easier to advise than make the decision your self. really owning a hotel with N100m is less profitable than a stock investment in Banks like UBA,
So to my opinion : I will invest 70% of the fund in the stock market. Currentky am a salary earner and have been contempleting starting my own business, but looking at the current economic realities of Nigeria, I decided to still remain an employee with average salary of N450k per month, but keep accumulating certain stocks in the market, than start a business for now,But don't know if this is the best strategy though.
Advice needed :
