You will agree with me that the above post sounds just like some of the monkey hunting posts we receive here in NSEMPA. Any stock pick that is not backed by some form of analysis- be it fundamental, technical, or insider/privilege information- may be referred to as Monkey Hunting. Some persons here had previously blamed, and even laid curses on others who gave predictions and stock picks that wasn't actualised. Some also blamed their failure on the fact that the persons who gave the recommendations failed to include a caveat. Next time if you have a reliable information and sincerely want BnSiTL to benefit from it, make it clear and straightforward so it doesn't sound like monkey hunting. For example, Stock ABC is coming out with a dividend of X and bonus of Y... Source: my relative is an employee, I have privilege info, etc. It is a usual practise in NSEMPA to state the source of your recommendation when you give one. You don't have to wait for someone to ask before you state the source. I hope you understand my point and that my post doesn't upset you.

Without further ado, i have garnered much information here pertaining to stock marketing , but the problem still lies on where and how to start from that would likely be most promising . Though from the sell in may and walk away theory it has given me insight on when to start invest . Please ,gurus in the house i need more assistance as a beginner . Gracias

I saw your efforts today which made oando depreciate to N19 during the first section but when we placed our mandate during the second section and others took advantage of it, the price soared. we can do better tomorow. Don't forget that our goal this time is to achieve 3% of oando with our limited resource. We must all therefore continue to work hard and keep communicating until our goal is achieved. There is a radio program on Smooth FM 98.1 that discuss Business and Stock markets.

They have guys from ARM fund managers, stockbrokers, Ugodre of nairametrics.com, Tunji and others. Every Thursdays, they give a list of stocks on their Radars. (Today was : United cap, Mobil, FCMB)

Vitafoam was trading in a channel before the market slump. Though NGN 4.50 isn't a clear resistance, it may well be considered as one for two reasons: Being the upper limit of the channel breached 10 months ago and, second, the candlesticks of the past few days. However, the technical indices connote an impending bull wave.

Whatever happens today will determine the next few days. But I think you may be able to pick it up again at your earlier price, pretty soon.

Let me appeal once again to you to go out today and sell your oando now that the sentiment surrounding oando is negative (Niger Delta militants have taken up their arms again).

lets not allow oando to rally to enable my company achieve its goal (to acquire the 3% of oando) using its limited resource.

I believe that together we can bring down the price of oando to something below N12.

I am very sure he is very disappointed that all stocks are not losing maximum 10%. If he had his way he will modify NSE rule to allow all stocks lose 20% everyday

Sir, all i can say is that buy whatever u want to buy now before is too late. Don't tell me a stock with eps of 98 kobo as at 3rd quarter and trading around 2-3 naira with dividend expectations of 35-45 kobo will remain in that junction in the next 30 days? Do your home work and see for yourself. Foreign investors are coming back and will take position and sell back with premium to u guys. My simple and personal opinion not a recommendation...

so many people have change investment strategy , there is no doubt the market will still go down , and the fearful will keep selling and losing their money and the core investors will buy till thy kingdom come , if someone would hold firstbank from 80s till now then why do i have to sell when i just bought it yesterday lolz , History never fail but it change topic .
