Elephone, which is a Copycat or Clone of OnePlusOne phones and Umi have not reached that international standard yet thats why. Maybe when they stop cloning and doing copy cat and show some real uniqueness then they shall be recognized but still I want you to name any Elephone with the specs of that of the Hot Note Pro with Octa Core, 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM for less than 123usd/N26,000. You dont need to search, there is None. Why wont the likes of Infinix and Injoo target only Africa, afterall, we can accept "anything"

elephone p6000 has 13mp,2gb ram,64bit cpu with lte plus mali 760mp2 gpu yet costs just 24k

UMi hammer has better specs plus military grade alloy body for just 26k.

The one plus one you claimed elephone cloned is in itself a clone of oppo yet its on gsmarena.

I am not a sales agent in anyway, and i dont even use an infinix phone,but i have myriads of users around .
My optimus g pro and lumia 928 no longer have enough endurance to last me a day so i'm getting the ihot note pro. You can deal with that .
Call infinix fake all you want, same way people called one plus one fake until it wiped some major asses .
MY next phone will be the elephone p8000 which you cant find on gsmarena but it'll put all what your lenovo/tcl can offer to the cleaners without breaking sweat.

Thats because the dont target the international market. most of their phones are launched in africa.
xaomi has been around for over a year before they appeared on gsmarena,same applicable for oppo .
elephone and umi are one of the best chinese brands available at the moment yet they dont have a gsmarena page .

oga, Infinix is Chinese, dont deceive yourself with that Designed in France talk. Its pure OEM. I aint gonna go into braggings with you but believe you me, you were so deceived one way or the other. A case of penny wise , pound foolish because my friends who had their Infinix Zero just last year, dont have it anymore. Just stopped working and could not be repaired. Nobody told them twice to go get a Blackberry, a Lenovo and a Tecno.

How can you use your friends experience to judge infinix?
My q10 died on me barely 3months of use,will i now conclude that all phones made by RIM is substandard?
My friends s5 couldnt survive a fall,will that make me conclude the gorrilla glass thingy is a gimmick? Some get lucky,others dont.
btw, i dnt use an infinix phone yet but my bro uses an ihot while a neighbour uses the ihot note and all they've given are rave reviews .were

It is wrong for you to label infinix a fraud just because the upgraded ram/ram for just 1500 naira.
I know fully well that unbranded chinese phones usually deceives guillible buyers with specs but it seems you're out of touch with reality.
phone components have gotten really cheap .
the elephone p6000 with better cpu/cam than the inote pro costs just $112 dollars while the meizu m2 note with far superior specs than the i note pro goes for about 130 dollars,maybe they faked their specs too, lol .

After launching the pro,infinix does not expect anyone to buy the hot not again,that explains why jumia made sure they almost cleared stock.
As for the benchmark difference or lack thereof,between the note and the note pro,that could be due to a software glitch or yet another proof that benchmarks aint reliable .

Stop badmouthing infinix and their users. They are doing a stellar job of bringing android to the masses.

Yes, SERIOUSLY. My Chinese friends have even once offered me some 9.7 inch and 10 inch tablets with acclaimed Octa Core Processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM for less than 15k. I vigorously interrogated them and they admitted it was a "Memory/System Upgrade Tablet", saying that the real specs where Dual Core Processor, 768MB RAM and about 8GB ROM but in the tablet settings, it will read, Octa Core Processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. If what Infinix is doing were possible, why hasnt the poorest International Chinese Brand done it? or is it that they dont want to grow their market too. I also suspect Injoo is doing it too on their phones.

I guess you just jumped into the thread, without knowing what I'm about. I'm not upset. I bought the IHN Pro, not the IHN. And, I'm not too happy with the fact that the specs I read online all said it's 13mp rear camera, not the 8mp I got. I don't care if it's interpolated, they should have made good their specs.
2. There's nothing to suggest the phone is a Pro, it's not written on the phone or on it's box, only on Jumia receipt. Here, Jumia+Infinix should have called a spade a spade, not a garden tool. Obviously, this phone is a VARIANT, not a different model. That's DISHONESTY.
3. I'm NOT ranting. I bought the phone on my aunt's behalf. I'm just PAINED for IHN users who Jumia + Infinix played a fast one on.

It seems you didn't get the main thrust of my post but grinface98 has done justice that.

However, iHote PRO doesn't deserve the tag pro because it's just another variant of the phone. iHote PRO should have gorilla glass, NFC, Better Display, Of course better RAM, Higher Clocked processor, and better performing Graphics processing chipset.

in my opinion, the pro deserves its name .
the specs you listed would be more appropriate for the ihot note 2 .
APPLE phones are mostly minor upgrades over its predecessor yet everyone accepts its an entirely new phone,yet you find it hard to accept doubled ram and rom as a pro version.
I CALL THAT DOUBLE STANDARDS .

I get your point but i want you to understand that its market forces that determines the release of phones . Innjoo released their note pro,infinix had to answer in kind to remain competitive.
there is a 3month gap between the release of the two phone,and infinix is not alone here ,sony is also culpable.check the time frame between z1,z2 and z3.
As for the little price difference,did you really expect the inote pro to b priced @33k in order to keep ihot note users happy?
This is naija,the price has to be as low as possible to remain competitive.

AS for naming and specs, there is no defined industry standards for PRO versions. In short a pro version need not be significantly better than the standard one.minor upgrades is all thats needed. The doubled ram and rom is more than enough to justify the pro name . Your claims would have hold water if jumia/infinix named it ihot note 2,which supposedly denotes a different phone.

That's what those other brands did that Infinix and Jumia didn't do.
If they did, many camera lovers would have gone for the IHN, while the RAM lovers would have gone for the more expensive Pro.

As far as i know,both devices are currently on sale .
jiayu and injoo didnt release both devices at the same time.
And i dont think its ur place to tell infinix what to release and when.
If you call their marketing a lie,because of the 13/8mp confusion,then maybe you should have stoned the guys at apple/samsung to death.
In case u dont know, 60% of chinese phones claiming 2 have 13mp are infact,just 8mp units interpolated to 13mp .

I disagree with you .
The phones can look the same,the price point can be the same ,thats at the discretion of the makers.
The jiayu s3 and s3 advanced looks the same with minimal price difference, yet no one critisized them. Samsung had a galaxy s3 variant with 2gb selling for the same price with the international version with 1gb yet no one coughed.
Samsung s4 with snapdragon 600 is better than the exynos variant yet everyone is fine with them selling at the same price.
innjoo just released the innjoo note pro with 2gb ram(only difference),everybody agrees its a differnt phn.
y then, is the inote pro different?
why is every1 criticizing infinix for trying to stay competitive.
Aggrieved ihot note users should blame themselves for buying too early.

The major ish here is the camera downgrade to 8mp/2mp. The 2gb/32gb memory upgrade is worth a lot more than the N1,500 difference.
But, Jumia/Infinix shouldn't have lied about the specs. So many guys and gals went into panic mode, just to get the Pro, while selling their few days old IHN at 5k+ loss, only to find out they've been duped on specs.

For buyers who are yet to make a decision on which one to buy, they now know the truth and can choose more wisely. Patience is indeed a virtue.

I dont see how the 8mp/2mp combo on the pro is a downgrade to the hot note's camera .
AS IT is,i'm unsure any1 would go for the hot note when they can double the ram/rom for just 1.5k extra .

The launch of the pro means users who recently bought the note will be forced to sell their phone in order to upgrade,others will cling to their with the knowlegdge that a better variant is out there for roughly the same price. . Unhappy customers,recipe for disaster.
Infinix should have waited at least 6 months before launching the phone.

For those saying its a minor upgrade and expressing dissapointment at the camera specs , i beg to differ .
The pro is just 1,500 naira more expensive than the hot note ,yet it has 16gb additional rom. That alone cancels the price differentials .

How about the extra gig of ram? Can you put a price on it? I dont think so . . .its priceless
I can also bet the pro battery life will be better than the already stellar battery life of the hot note.

More ram=less need for cpu to search for resources=less cpu load=better battery endurance.

As for hot note users who will read this ,dont blame me , blame infinix for their scattergun approach to phone launch.
