dejx: Its strange that an enrollment deadline was specified on your admission letter. I hope you know you can enroll online at TUM , so the deadline in principle should not be a problem for you. If you have paid your semester fee, register with an insurance company, say AOK bayern and upload the registration number/ certificate they provide you with on your TUMonline portal. Ideally, you should get confirmation of enrollment within a week and you can use same to counter the consulate's line of thought. Hopefully, your initial response would be enough to get you a date in October. Best of luck 3 Likes 1 Share |

Shocking story.....Regrettable Bloodshed I'm i the only one who noticed that the narrator, Dr Ishaku Pam is in fact the then 1yr 9month old son of the late Col Pam? I can imagine the horror he went through. This lays credence to the story |
Health / Re: New Organ Discovered Inside Human Body By Scientists by cahnellven: 9:49am On Jan 05, 2017 |
The mesentery has always been there although a tissue specific function wasn't assigned to it. New evidence has shown that it is in fact a continous structure which may or may not qualify it as an organ. But it definitely isn't new. The name in itself is from the simplified latin word " Mesenterium" which is derived from Meso meaning Middle and enteron which losely translates into gut, Hence the english word "mesentery "meaning Meso( middle) enteron( intestine/gut) = Mid gut/ middle intestine. This nomenclature is derived from the fact that the mesentery is formed by the fold of peritoneum that attaches the guts to the abdominal wall. While the claim might be partly true, the title is misleading You can take my word for it cos i have a BS in Anatomy 1 Like |

Most medical related courses are 5yrs so you will already have your bachelors within the next year. You can then divert to any field that catches your fancy |

SharkTank: Ondo state has the longest coastline in nigeria courtesy of ilaje local government. Kindly refrain from making contributions to subjects you know nothing about, for your glaring incompetence therein will only serve as embarrassment to you. Educate yourself and say No to ignorance. un48table: The age declaration should be deposed by the head of the family.. It's just a document confirming your date of birth. You don't need to add any info regarding international whatever. The presence of a passport or lack thereof hardly matters. Mine had no passport and it was totally fine. 1 Like |

idemudian1: I know for sure that your visa will be processed and sent to germany. It will even be approved within the stipulated 4 to 6 weeks by the competent alien authority. If you haven't funded before then ,however, the lagos consulate will refuse to send you confirmation of visa but reminder to fund instead. The statement above is at least true for myself and almost everyone i know who didn't fund before/immediately after interview. Goodluck 2 Likes |

Guys , nothing has changed..... If you have the intention of coming to Germany, do so at ALL 'COSTS'. As much as some of what Herr schwarz posted is true, it doesn't apply to me and people in my immediate circus. Life is always tough in a foreign land,so some of those things applies to US, UK CADDY etc. Considering the situation of things, Germany is still an infinitely better choice than the UK and CANADA. (My opinion) All thanks to God, Munich, eke40seven, seunstein and God again, I don't have to worry about bills, residence permit or anything. If I'm to point to a major disadvantage here, it is their overly intensive education, which is a far cry from that of the UK /US. Like eke pointed out, try to go to a major city like Munich/Berlin where you get longer rp and jobs are in abundance. All in all , na God get power. If some people regret coming to Germany, it's their opinion..... As for me I don't .... And I'll make the choice a thousand times over 10 Likes |

Dam12: There is nothing like JAMB CERTIFICATE. What your school requested for is the so CALLED " JAMB ORIGINAL RESULT SLIP " which can look fancy especially when printed in coloured, with your passport showing and whatnot. UME is what it is, an entrance examination, and not an educational qualification /training , it's validity is limited, and cannot be used after a certain period, like most examinations/test like GRE, IELTS etc. Btw I'm not ready to argue or throw subtle digs and tantrums at anyone 3 Likes |

I live in Munich and I dare say German is only important for economic reasons (like getting a job) I've not met a munchner that can't speak English, and their English is pretty good too. At the foreigners office, you'll be asked if you speak English or German. Almost all, the docs here can speak English . Train signs and announcements are translated into English. Maybe my experience, but as Williamso rightly pointed out, it depends on the city Learning the language is important, but life can still be relatively easy without it in the big cities 1 Like |
