Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo formally took over the leadership of the Villa Chapel on Sunday. The chapel was built by the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

The chapel had always been controlled by a president or vice-president of Christian faith as the political head, while the president’s or vice-president’s chaplain is the spiritual head. Former President Goodluck Jonathan would have handed over the chapel to Osinbajo penultimate Sunday when he attended service in the worship centre for the last time but for the vice-president’s absence.

Osinbajo attended service in the chapel for the first time yesterday accompanied by his wife, Dolapo; Bishop Wale Oke of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries; Senior Pastor, Living Waters Unlimited Church, Pastor Ladi Thompson and other clergymen. The vice-president, who himself is a pastor, delivered a goodwill message to the congregation and did the benediction. He later proceeded to the children church where he prayed and took photographs with the children, along with members of his entourage.

...pragmatism and sarcasm do not go hand in hand.
Hard work my foot,are we all not privy to wht happens on our naija campus,no matter how brilliant u are if don't knw your way around campus,u cant predict the outcome of ya degree.
Is it a sch dt fix exam Tim tab and suddenly disorganiz it midway it had started? Or postpones a paper abruptly; or cancel Papers indiscriminately only to fix it at odds times forcing studnt to C'OV for having missed their papers.
Look, this distorted and convoluted systm is enough to disorient a students memory bank. How pathetic,naija ppl don't knw this is root of their half baked grads. Yet even among d so-called top univ in naija the disorderly system stil persist in this digital age,but only a few are abt getting it right with cbt exams

...degree is good but your fortunes does not depend on it. Rather it is wht u make out of life that counts for u to succeed whether with degree or no degree. Where hav u been all this while to know dt most powerful rich and famous ppl did so from their raw talents and skills but not with degree. However, if u stil wanna challenge yourself, go for ya professional certification in ur field,whc is far respected than degree. Hmmm naija degree, very funny with the empire mentality of many questionable and nonchalant characters as lecturers and hods,yet we had to humble selves to put up with all the shenanigans to graduate with second class.
