Dear NNPC, pls can y'all add this government to your plans? We don't want to witness them again. Infact ehn, we won't mind another fuel scarcity just to ensure that this request is honoured. The way things are going, one might not even be alive in 2019 because, it's like they want people to just die ( channelling public funds meant to educate, train, hospitalise, clothe, house, feed, secure people for personal use). Pls, add the current members of government to your plans. You'll be saving the lives that it seems they're out to sacrifice. Thanks |

olaoge:May the God that you serve bless you. Sometimes, all that's required is a question like this and commensurate action. When will Nigerian lawmakers commence the business of having arguments over issues that ultimate improve the lot of the common man? Exactly what are they doing concerning the reason behind ASUU strikes? When will they address the issue of police and other state security agencies' training, sensitization, remuneration and welfare? When will they fight over the best ways to enforce our laws? What is being done concerning ensuring that the 2019 elections will be, at least, as free and fair as the previous, if not better? Is there any real plan for social welfare besides the smokescreen currently on ground? When will they put their foot down to face the issue of our loved ones dying unnecessary deaths in hospitals (because, tomorrow it might be our turn)? Anyways, I honestly believe that it can't be like this forever. But, instead of hoping that e go beta one day, we must act, strive and fight to get there. 1 Like |

I wonder what nairaland is doing concerning the forthcoming elections. Why can't we have threads that suggest candidates for presidential and gubernatorial posts whereby we enlighten ourselves about each of them in such a way that truths and fallacies are exposed? Personally, I don't know much about politics but, if we must avoid another situation of being pitched between the devil and the deep blue sea as we found ourselves two years ago, we must suggest and prescreen these folks and then push, encourage and support them until we have our way for once in our lifetime. |
