Divorce regimes I know in the West favour an equitable distribution of property because women are always worse off in marriages. Their careers tend to die off, they become too dependent on their spouses. So it appears unfair to throw them out of marriages in penury because they committed their futures to their spouses. I think if divorces were stricter and tougher in terms against women, the better. At least that would discourage women from jumping into marriages.

As for the lady in question, my advice for you is to beg him and change to a loving wife he wants you to be. Not always about sex, show him love and affections and if it's sex give him he's your husband.

If he does this, forgive him and try forgetting, though it might be difficult. If you see him as your last bus stop, you ll do everything to make the marriage work.

I am not advising you to start asking yourself unnecessary questions, but you might need to check if you haven't shifted attention from your husband to your children.

Women tend to do that alot, forgetting that they met the man first before the kids started coming(marriage counsellors know this).

Whatever it is, dont hate him, dont get violent. Dont let the devil take charge. He ll come around and things Will be normal again.

So as a christian, her vision told her she would marry a muslim? O.k. Im hoping her husband is the liberal type and 2nd wife wont appear frm nowhere. After 5-10 yrs then she can come back and talk.
