Nairaland / General / Electric Luxury In Motion: Mercedes-maybach Reveals Vision 6 by callmenow: 1:15pm On Aug 22, 2017 |
Love it or loathe it, there’s no denying that Mercedes’ latest creation will turn heads wherever it goes. It’s called the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet and it combines the luxury of a superyacht with dazzling super-coupe looks and a drop-top roof. The four-wheeled cruise-liner concept was revealed this weekend at Pebble Beach as part of 2017 Monterey Car Week in California. Being a concept, it’s highly unlikely that the car will ever be put into production. Were it to go on sale, it would easily eclipse the £260,000 starting price for the Maybach S 650 Cabriolet launched last year. https://www.nigeriaserve.com/index.php/2017/08/22/electric-luxury-motion-mercedes-maybach-reveals-vision-6/

themilanway: This is not about Jonathan or KAYODE. It is about the limited freedom that we had that has been taken away. I witnessed an army beat up someone on airport road a few days ago. My rational self prevented me from intervening. Afterwards this innocent guy was bundled (arrested) into a car to be taken away. His crime was that he did not clear the way. I hate KAYODE politics, but his essay is spot on and valid. Where is Oby ezekwesili and her gang of vindictive evil campaigners. Is one thousand lives lost not enough to make her go to ABUJA square? By the way, they said men, women, children, including girls were murdered. Where are the bring back Shia girls campaign? |

Aigbofa: He may be confused. His essay is spot on. Except if you are paranoid and schizophrenic. We are under a dictatorship. The main underpinning of democracy is the rule of law. For those ignorant of the meaning of the rule of law, it means in part that court orders and judgements must be implemented. Efcc and DSS, security agencies don't bother with the courts anymore. They take their orders from the presidency. That is not democracy. 1 Like 1 Share |

amaechi1: Forget the messenger and address the issue he has raised. Even the dreadful obasanjo did not stoop this low. We are looking at the disintegration of Nigeria. Jonathan played a fast one to cede the fraudulent election to Buhari. Buhari has been shown to be what most observers stated before his 'election'. Shallow, vindictive, illiterate, myopic, fraudulent, dictatorial and useless. 1 Like |

How can hundreds of Shias be massacred, yet the so called president is mute. Do you know no shame going by your waffle? This administration/Regime is clueless, cruel and callous. 3 Likes |

This could only have been done by order from above or more succinctly, the Oga at the top. Maybe Buhari should make a statement. Even a prepared statement is acceptable. Buhari should remember that what goes around comes around eventually. His rule so far has been unavoidably violent. The most violent period in the past 45 years bar none. Zakzaky humiliation is another in a catalogue of executive thuggery. 2 Likes |

TonyeBarcanista: Nigeria is a perfectly constituted country with a constitution. Nothing is funny. Can a civil servant not borrow money from bank or relatives. Must he pay from his salary? A bit of lateral thinking should suffice here. EFCC must not attempt to query the civil servants. That is not part of their remit. If they try it, then they are trampling on the civil servants fundamental human rights. That will mean litigation. 2 Likes |

Dokpesi and Dasuki are INNOCENT until convicted by a competent court. You cannot convict and jail them on Twitter and the Nation. That is wishful thinking. Dasuki must be released because he did not kill anyone. Let him go back to his family to celebrate freedom. This country that thrives on nonsensical trivia. If they spend one extra DAY in detention, then that is INJUSTICE. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: CBN Sources Reveal How It Operated Accounts For Dasuki, Other Government Agencie by callmenow: 12:36pm On Dec 16, 2015 |
It is well. Thank you CBN. It will be remiss for CBN not to clarify this. Everyone must remember that CBN and parastatals or agencies if you prefer work with mandates. Since CBN is a bank, also a central, bank of last resort in Nigeria per se, it operates retail banking for government departments and agencies. It also operates retail banking for state governments, senate, House of Representatives, etc. As long CBN operates the account of the agency according to the laid down rules, CBN is not culpable, since they cannot dishonour a valid mandate. Okonjo Iweala has denied wrong doing. She is a glorified umpire. She sees a mandate, she queries it and cross reference the president if necessary. She cannot stop a valid request from an agency. The problem is however with the agencies. The minister leans on his perm secs with threats and gets his way. Then massive looting takes place. The agencies need to be addressed. Who ever that is IN charge OF AN AGENCY treats the agency as his fiefdom and ATM. Structurally the agencies are very weak institutions. |

Iranians Shias are serious trouble makers. They protested at the Nigeria high commission in the uk a few days ago after the Shia massacre in Zaria. They have accused United Kingdom and israel of teaming up with Buhari against their brothers in diaspora. Iranians hate Sunnis. However they don't play with their brethren anywhere and anytime. Buhari must explain the situation to those mullahs. Else Nigeria will be a battle ground like YEMEN. |

The master of propaganda, lai mohammed had been feeding the gossip or yellow press with tittle tattle, which is packaged for Nigeria masses. Please leave prince Dasuki out of the shenanigans. hinwazaka: I also wonder about the quality of the newspaper reporters in Nigeria. We know that Dasuki has never volunteered any information for now, since his lawyer has affirmed such. Yet 'people close to Dasuki' keep mentioning names. Keeping alluding to names. Inconclusive journalism. Vanguard is becoming Sahara reporters. Make up a story. Wait for denial from the victim of the story. If it is not denied, it is exclusive. Breaking News! Most Nigerians are confused by the plethora of unverified conflicting 'news' out there. Have we forgotten the billions of dollars in money in akpabio's strong room. Or the billions of dollars money they found in diezani's house in London. They all turned out to be overlooked libels. It is always in dollars, and billions of it. |

Medicine after death. This COAS is very blood thirsty. On his very short tenure, soldiers has been murdering unarmed Nigerians in their thousands. Yet we are not in a military regime. Does this NHRC not read the news. In UK and France, once a police officer or army officer is involved in a fatal accident, their NHRC steps in. Here in Naija, they hide their head in the sand until the incident is forgotten. Where are the relevant NGO when you need them? |
Politics / Re: Why We Attacked Zakzaky, Other Shiite Members – Nigerian Army by callmenow: 9:04am On Dec 14, 2015 |
That is the reason why the western world ganged up to stop selling weapons to Nigeria. After obasanjo Odi massacre, the USA and European Union stopped even light arms sale to Nigeria. Even Russia refused to sell to Nigeria. Infact, no arms should be sold to any Nigeria government. Our army are trigger happy, excitable and kills indiscriminately. No probe are ever instituted after every killing. This has also become a weekly affair for Nigeria army. Buhari should issue a state for shooting two weeks of the eboes and the latest one. Sanity must prevail. |
