PUSH1:I am writing this in Clerkenwell in London. I have attached a photo, I just took moments ago. Eat your heart out
|
njays24:It is. What is wrong with this? He is very frugal. His parents are not complaining. Must everyone live in glass houses? |
Osinbajo own house is proper dwelling. Just that his peeps are maintained in the status they have been accustomed to? This reminds me of 1815 AD. |
It is true picture! The question is whether APC will spin this as a virtue or the height of negligence |
realGURU:You are truly disgusting. Infact you are brainless and invidious |
realGURU:Shame that you and your ilk have access to NL. DID JONATHAN TURN A GOOD SCHOOL TO BAD? You are a desperate hoe aligning yourself with desperate lies and fantastic ineptitude. You are the virus that refuses to see the 300 almajiris schools, 12 universities that this administration has instituted in just four years. I imagine you like the twaddle you purvey here. Good riddance |
DSS OVER TO YOU. ZERO TOLERANCE TO TERRORISTS. |
Beating to pulp? But he is standing. It looks his wife beat him up. File this one under domestic violence |
It Varies from area to area. Average man in Lagos is not equivalent to average man in Kano or port harcourt financially. The cost must be what you and your committee of friends has decided to afford. Remember that the cost does not necessarily mean that the marriage will be blissful. Infact, the more that you spend beyond your means is inversely related to the failure of the said marriage. Be warned! |
SuperModerator:The article said that UK government spent £14 million (pounds), equivalent to #4.5 billion Naira to secure the conviction of Ibori in London. Essentially, it is expensive to secure conviction within the rule of law (or going through the courts). That it did not cost Nigeria as much as UK to convict Ibori. In other words, the money used to secure Ibori is the money required to maintain all the anti corruption agency over ten years. Glad to help |
praxisnetworks:The argument is that JONATHAN is better and will always be better that Umar y Adua and his cousin #buhari. I am confused how you are still stuck in 2013. $20 billion missing? Even the originator recently admitted that he was wrong, as well as NASS. DO you know something that we nigerians don't know? Stop watching blue movies, and get with Arise News, AIT and BBC. |
SAMBARRY:Right? No wonder you are unemployed and under employed. Perhaps you can stop self servicing and focus on your future in a transformed Nigeria |
Fasola is a mindless m0ron. Wish I had slapped him like I slapped the saboteur Rochas in London yesterday mornng. I will eventually get him, inshallah. |
Fabrication |
OMO, she shouldn't be speechless. She should tell the husband what really happened. Either she took in by artificial insemination, or she did it with oyibo. This child is not albino. Nigerian women have been deceiving men since 100BC. |
Sambisa must be levelled at all costs. |
Utter hogwash. This news rescue must be strangled to death for this odious fabrication. As usual, conspiration theorists will lap up this nonsense as usual. APC HAGIOGRAPHY. |
See greed. Why are so called Nigerians so keen with alternative methods to get rich? |
Discombobulated and lost. He looks like he was detained for further questioning. |
APC propaganda does not faze nigerians. This buffoon is clutching at straws. |
77 years old tyrant and daughter-in-law rapist. We are through this rubbish and good riddance. Case closed! |
slimfit1:Either you are being disingenuous or mischievous. I must tell you that she nailed it. It is obvious that you didn't get what she is saying. The summary of what she is saying is that our police force, EFCC and the likes of ICPC are not functioning. The legal system as well is not functioning. These are the institutions that penalises and deters people in equal measure from committing the crimes in the first place. Nigeria's legal system is considered the weakest institution within our democracy. The underpinning of the 'rule of law' is very corrupt. The police force that enforces the law are very, very corrupt indeed. Hope this makes your day. It is not all about Jonathan. The olodo that snatched my tablet last week cannot be blamed on JONATHAN, NOI, or PDP either. The Fashola 'agent' who came to my house in ikeja to collect tax, with dodgy receipt is not JONATHAN's fault either. Corruption has eaten into the fabric of the polity (society). The problem I find with simpletons like you, is that you talk before thinking. Your freedom of speech is far more important than your understanding the speech of a woman, who is full of wisdom and experience. Granted that she is not at your level, then read the context of why, how she arrives at her statements. Every speech she makes is not unprompted, but prepared by the best the economic team can summon. Think before you write next time. |
Looks like idle touts to me. Pity. |
Jonathan administration has done well. But have they exceeded expectation? The jury is still out. |
We know what Nigeria will become if Buhari wins. More violent, more intolerant and more Islamist. Beware the ides of March. The 'murder' of democracy is imminent. #stopbuharinextmonth |
Yet he said a different thing in London last week. How can Obasanjo speak from both sides of his mouth? Was Yusuf, the founder of Boko haram killed during the administration of jonathan? Why must the federal government feed the people of North east? This culture that Jonathan must provide food and solace for every nigerian is a non starter. What of the state governors and the local government? Obasanjo is mischievous and divisive. He is inadvertently stating that Boko haram was his fault. He presided over the marginalisation of the people of North east. It's a grave indictment. |
Sanusi is too arrogant to apologise. Before he became the emir, he believed that Nigeria revolves around Kano. Now that he has forcefully seized the emir ship, he will consider it condescending to deal with his hubris. In any case, this Nigeria, where corrupt people like sanusi moves through the system with impunity. |
gbadexy:Perhaps I can help. Previously Soyinka has stated that Buhari was not a democrat. He fought Buhari in 1984-85. Soyinka lost a great deal during Buhari's tyranny. He has also condemned Buhari's religious jingoism. The essence of his diatribe is that Buhari is morally repugnant. He will not be voting for Buhari. He is also against PDP governance of Nigeria. He believes that successive PDP administrations have become arrogant and have deviated from concerning themselves from alleviating the lot of the average Nigerian. He is particularly disenchanted with the office of the First Lady and the rot and corruption which is still in the system. He believes the Chibok situation is unacceptable. That Jonathan should be held accountable for the weak armed forces. That the Boko haram insurgents was not new, but has been around in previous administration and has not been dealt with. Hope you understand his gist better now. The key to understanding the noble laureate is to read up on his back catalog. His views are consistent. I don't agree with all his views, but most are progressive. |
1stola:Wole Soyinka must go further. It is people like you that said Zamfara state governors islamisation of zamfara state was irrelevant. We are now enjoying the fact that the entire north is gripped by the violent minority that controls and intimidates the silent majority of Moslems. From sokoto to Maidugiri, Boko haram has stated on record that the Sunni establishment hegemony constituting the sultan of sokoto, the Sarduana, the emir of Kano and others of the same ilk are apostates. Some emirs have already been murdered. The sultan and the emirs are petrified of this virulent and garrulous Boko haram. You are quite simply irrelevant. |
It is an affront to the our collective sensibilities for Buhari to come back at the helm, because of disenchantment with Jonathan. I agree that the malaise in the country is a rot that started a while ago. When zamfara governor invoked their right to islamisation of zamfara, Obasanjo turned a blind eye. He thought the bold experiment will wither and dies. Ofcourse, we are all now reaping the wind. Some of us that raised an alarm about the divisiveness of that move, were accused of intolerance. Yet certain nitwits in this forum blame jonathan administration for Islamist tendency in the north. I will blame jonathan for building Almajiri schools. This is very divisive as well as other schemes that promote idleness in northern youth. Their vision of going to heaven and martyrdom is the game changer. Soyinka, that I have met and especially like must step up and name the guilty culprits. More than any one, he has been witness to the misrule of Nigeria. |
Hogwash. Speculative trash. All of a sudden, Jonathan has acquired a reputation for Machiavellian scheming. Inconsistent tripe from imperialistic and divisive toilet paper. |
Every time APC liar in chief makes unsubstantiated claim/Allegation, etc. APC supporters go to town with unwarranted Rantings. This is supposedly 'opposition'. These APC thugs and touts must be run out town. Jobless, hopeless and witless nitwits. Get a life. We are not persuaded that APC will take nigeria forward. Obj, amaechi and other goons want another Y'adua episode. |
