What was the floor price?
There have NEVER EVER been a floor price for data in Nigeria.
For voice, Telcos cannot go below 11k/sec(i.e 6.60k/min)

Well, i am multitasking because i am a very busy person so i may not have broken it down to a level that you will understand.
But you can ask me what you don't understand. Who vex epp? Even if you wan vex, no be with your mate dem?

But i think you should know this-

Unlike voice, there was no floor price for data before now so NCC recently gave a directive that all data plans/offerings must align with a newly introduced data floor price. This benchmark will be painful to data users as some telcos may have to increase their data tariff but it will give these telcos the opportunity of facing how they can improve their quality of service rather than focus on how much competition is selling data.
I disagree that the floor price(minimum allowable price) will be 1.5GB for 3k.
I think it will be between 1200-1500 for 1.5GB.
Does it make small sense now?

Not true.
Just like voice calls, NCC only introduced data floor price (The data floor price is the minimum allowable price per MB).
Before now, there was no floor price so any telco can decide to sell data at any price of their choice.

If it is allowed to continue that way, some of the telcos may fold-up which will lead to job loss and also drive investors away.
Just imagine if Vodacom decides to pull their tariff plans down just to kill smaller telc coys like Lebara.
Rather than wait until that happens(since Glo has been pushing them)NCC decided to introduce floor price. For voice calls, NCCs current floor price is 11k/sec.

The price will still be between the range of 1300-1500 for 1.5G

And the ones in opposition whose children were not given this juicy jobs are not online wailing.
Because someone works with CBN or FIRS doesn't mean that person will always be better than you; you will have to choose to fail first and persistent online wailing is one of the many ways to fail.

Most of the telcos reduced the price of their data bundle because Glo did was what i said.
Now that they're at a loss, they don't need NCC to tell them to increase the price. Etisalat already did andtheir customers have accepted it in good fate.

What i mean is- Glo slashed down their data price because they can afford to do it.(They're one of the major wholesalers in Nigeria. Meaning Airtel, MTN and Etisalat buy from either Glo-1 or MainOne in wholesale price and re-sell.)

Because of traffic at peak period,telcos need to either increase their network capacity(which requires sourcing for fx), drive traffic to off-peak periods when there is low capacity utilization, or increase data price in order not to continue to be at a loss.
Since they slashed down data price,they have been loosing at least 600 million naira monthly apart from Glo so the price is not realistic.
At the end something will have to suffer;quality or quantity

3.Because they will need to source for forex to buy and pay for almost everything, network quality will suffer if they continue at same price.
4.And if they insist on continuing this same way, they will have no other option than to cut down their staff strength.

As an insider in one of the GSM companies, i can reliably inform you that data rate will go up 1st December,2016. NCC has mandated all GSM Companies to raise data rates. This is sad, Nigerians should not accept it, Nigerian Government through its agencies should not make life harder for Nigerians!
N1000 Will be 500MB from December 1st 2016.

It's one thing to see 4G on your phone;It's another thing for the 4G to even come close to meeting expectation.
