Good evening house. Pls help!!

Has anyone paid for IHS recently, what is the exact amount ? What options can I use to pay if I don't have a dollar account?

Are there other locations for TB test outside Lagos and Abuja?

Also I need clarification on this, is POF supposed to be 28 days or 28 working days? Mine is currently running and I plan to terminate after 30 days but a friend who is a travel agent is saying it supposed to be 28 working days . I'm confused pls.

Anyone going to Cardiff Met. January 2022 pls let's connect.

Thanks in anticipation

Business / Re: Online Jobs: How I Made Over $11,000 As A Search Engine Optimization Expert by CamenLuna: 8:38am On Dec 02, 2021
IamNumeroUno:
This morning, I woke to lots of jingles on my WhatsApp status, signifying that Christmas is just a few days away. What that also mean is that, the year 2021 has gradually entered the last month.

I received a lot of messages from friends and well wishers alike, wishing me merry Christmas in advance and a happy new year ahead. One particular message asked if I could recount my blessings in the year under review, 2021.
When I replayed the events of this year alone in my head, I smiled and said, "Thank you Father".

I know that a lot of people have already given up on achieving success this year. The year is as good as over, as all that is left is the race for the festivities that will usher in the new year.

So many people can not really point to what they have achieved in the year 2021 and what they are grateful for, apart from life of course!
It is even worse, considering the harsh reality on ground, if you are in Nigeria. There have been lost of jobs and the cost of living has skyrocketed. There is hunger in the land and so much suffering.

Unemployment is on the high side and so many graduates left to wallow the streets with no jobs.

The pandemic may have caused most of these difficulties, but Covid-19 has also helped to bolster remote jobs. A lot of international organisations now recruit competent hands online, where you get to work from the comfort of your home.

Many Nigerians still follow the conventional processes of job hunting; submitting Resumés and expecting physical interviews. Some dubious elements who claim to be Job Agents have taken advantage of the situation and are cashing out steady. Even kidnappers have seized the opportunity to lure desperate job seekers to their hideouts and had them kidnapped, some even murdered.

The good news is that, none of the aforementioned risks is associated with online job hunting.
A lot of people spend so much on data, even in the face of these challenges and lack of jobs. The data is then wasted on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and a host of other platforms that are all out to milk them dry.
The smartphone alone can earn one a fortune if put to good use. There are a lot of companies looking for people to read and reply their mails, to organise their itineraries, make social media posts and a whole lot of other things, all of which can be done from a smartphone.

The year has reached the final month. That is true, but your life hasn't. Instead of waiting to "start a fresh" by the new year. Wouldn't it be smart to begin the preparations now? Begin to learn a skill.
There are a lot of platforms to learn. YouTube is the greatest of them all, due to the enormous amount of videos on it. Instead of watching "Investor Sabinus" or "Mr Freaky Freaky", who of course are making money off you, why not invest that time into watching something more productive? Get me right, I have not said that those videos are totally wrong to watch, of course I unwind with YouTube. I love watching Steve Harvey Show and Kevin Hart, I like to laugh when I'm stressed out. But I do not spend most of my time on leisure videos, instead, I watch educational videos and Horne my skill the more.

Below, I have attached some screenshots from my earnings on Upwork alot this year.
I have created some threads in the past, to encourage people to learn online skills:

1. https://www.nairaland.com/6679873/check-out-earnings-month-july

2. https://www.nairaland.com/6737795/check-out-earnings-month-august

You can start from those posts. It would give you the idea of how I started. I will also answer your questions and I am opened to mentoring those who are willing to learn, for a fee.

The last set of people I mentored, all from Nairaland are currently undertaking internship programme with an Indian company that I linked them with.

Take the step now that others are giving up on the year, so that by the start of next year, you would already have something to begin with.

Search Engine Optimization is a very lucrative field if you are ready to work. There are tons of jobs on Upwork available to SEO experts, you could pick up some of those jobs and earn something for yourself.

Merry Christmas in advance and wishing you a very prosperous new year ahead!

Check out some of my earnings in no particular order below.

Investment / Re: Which Business Can L Do With 2 Million by CamenLuna: 11:27am On Jun 01, 2018

You could become a co-investor in some properties in the UK under a company that provides Property Investment Services and earn daily.

The company is registered in the UK and in Nigeria and has been in business since 2010.

The properties are in the UK and are gotten through Crowdfunding. Each Property has it own Investment Plan.

All the steps in purchasing, operating and eventually making profit from the business are taken care of by professionals with virtually no input required from the investor.

Investments are made in Naira and returns are paid in Naira to your desired bank account.

For e.g. A property can have a daily profit of 0.46% for 120 business days (that is payable Mondays through Fridays) under the Investment Plan C.
So if you invested 1 million into the Property under Investment Plan C for instance, 0.46% of 1m will give you 4,600 daily.
This #4,600 multiplied by 120 days will give you a total of N552,000 as profit.
It means that you would have earned N552,000 in about 120 business days on your 1 million. At the end of the business 120 days, your capital of 1 million will be returned to you.

Another example could be that you invested N100,000 with daily profit of 0.33% for 120 days payable Mondays through Fridays under Investment Plan B.
0.33% of 100,000 will give you N330 daily.
This #330 multiplied by 120 days will give you a total of 39,600 as profit.
So you would have earned N39,600 in about 120 business days on your N100,000. At the end of the 120 days, your capital of N100,000 will be returned to you.

The interest is earned STRESS FREE via the principle of money working for you.

Business / What Lucrative Business Can I Start In Asaba Delta State by CamenLuna: 9:53am On May 31, 2018
Hello Nairalanders, a sister needs your help.
I recently relocated to Asaba as a result of marriage. Efforts to get another job here have not been busy so I have been thinking of a lucrative business online or offline to start full time with the little savings I have in treasury bill but I can't think of anything on my own. Available capital is about 1m.
I really need to get my hands on something serious before the year runs out.
Pls I don't need MLM or crypto currency suggestion, I'm already into that.

Thanks for your anticipated help.

Income and profit are two different things...if you are asked your income you expected to tell the exact total sales you make in a particular business without deducting expenses. Profit is what you make after your expenseses / expenditure is being deducted from your annual income or monthly income. This Vo's don't know everything about you so you are meant to explain to them and make them understand. You can decide to say your income monthly or quarterly depending on the trend of your business activities.

Thanks Classified60 and LadyGuinivere.
So i shouldn't state any salary on the Ds-160 form then and do the explanation when asked instead.
Or i should state my income as salary there and still explain when asked.
Thanks again for your time.

Hello house. Please as a business owner, is it advisable to accord n salary to oneself while filling the Ds-160 form especially if this does not reflect in both your company account and also personal account. If not what will be the best thin to fill in employment history since i am currently running my own business.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks LadyGuinivere for your response.
After expenses, my income is usually between 180k to 200k depending on how business is in a particular month and sometimes more or less.
My concern is this: i usually don't pay any specific amount to myself as salary at the end of each month. if i state this as my salary, how do i explain that since it doesn't reflect in my personal account statement.
Will this be regarded as dishonesty if i use my company as my employer and state this figure as salary. if yes what then should i feel in employment status. Please help. i have filled out the form but yet to submit and my interview is nest week.
Thanks in advance.
