The poverty level in Ghana is heartbreaking. One day I was walking around the city and happened upon an abandoned railroad station called Kantamanto. Over four thousand homeless people were living there. All around, people were wandering around half-dressed begging for food or money. There was burning trash and feces everywhere. It was one of the saddest things I've ever seen

Ghanaians argue against truth? very funny coming from a nigerian! Everyone who is not nigerian can see that your pathetic country is on a fast track into the dustbin. Do nigerians accept that as the truth? Hell no. eddioot like you will argue till eternity but its just a matter of time....................

Only twenty percent of Ghanaians have flush toilets in their homes. People have no choice but to urinate right in the middle of the street -- a real eye opener. I was riding in a taxi and all of a sudden we stopped and our driver got out. I looked out the back window and our driver was peeing on the side of the road in front of their government house like it was nothing. He got back in the car and off we went. There is no sanitation system there. Sometimes the smell knocked me back ten feet.

stshakes: Please is it $20K or $200K for P-square? I know why I dey ask. 200K na 32Million o.... Even US artistes don't cost that much.... Let's not mislead people. I don't know how much P-square was offered but I Know it will be no where near $200k

Because you know very little about P-Square! They are the highest paid African Artiste of all time. Their fee is between $150,000 to $200,000. If they mercy for you they will collect $100k, thats the very least they can go.

Last month they performed in Zimbabwe for just 45minutes in an event sponsored by Castle and was paid $150,000. By the way, it was not even $200,000 they where paid in Ghana -- it was a whooping $300,000. P-Square no be your mate

Religion / Re: The Jet Controversy By Tony Rapu. by cameronese(m): 9:29am On Nov 28, 2012
A Market Woman was running here and there looking for where to change Naira to Dollars, she came to me for assistance -- she was so serious about it and ready to do anything for it. Out of curiosity I asked her; Madam, what is that so serious you want to do with this dollars? Then she told me it was for Offering in the church (Christ Embassy) and she must get it at all cost!

Obviously, their pastors have made them believe (Through brainwash) that the best offering is the one offered in dollars or even made it mandatory for them. All these are effort to make more money by the said church. The Logic is: While the naira may get devalued -- the value of the dollars will always be on the increase against the naira -- guaranteeing the international value of whatever amount they make, and at the same time making it easy to be moved into foreign accounts.

Why would a church remotely influence their members to donate in certain currency? For those who are saying quite if you do not like the church; its easier to quite smoking that to break free from brainwash

Politics / Re: Nigerians Should Beg Jonathan To Seek Second Term – Lawmaker by cameronese(m): 11:14pm On Nov 22, 2012
Sincere 9gerian: The everyday REAL people on the ground will decide, not ANONYMOUS internat RATS, posting NONSENSE online. Despite all the phantom hatred for the PDP on the internet( by the same ANONYMOUS internet rats) and ACN propaganda, PDP still came 2nd in the last Ondo elections. I'm no fan of PDP or any political party. I look at the person not the party. Even now, I can guarantee several states that will return 80 to 90% votes for Jonathan if elections were to be conducted TODAY. Ondo and Edo will come tops in appreciation of the free and fair elections policy of GEJ(FREE AND FAIR elections is the most important DIVIDEND of democracy). Others states already in the bag for Jonathan include: Anambra, Enugu, Abia, Imo, Ebonyi, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Ogun, Ekiti, Benue, kwara, Jos, Delta, Kaduna, etc Even in the few tough states, GEJ will surely secure 25-50% votes in those areas. In fact, all GEJ needs to do now is to continue what he's doing and step up in some areas. Elections are not won on the internet. Only real people, with FLESH and BLOOD vote. INTERNAT RATS can continue to waste PRECIOUS time posting NONSENSE online.

And those Internet Rats I supposed includes you as well? The truth is that even if Jonathan wins all the states, that does not make him a good president. Anyone can win anything in Nigeria but the true winner is the one who can be remembered for good years after he left that position -- Nelson Mandela is a true winner!

Eat today and drink today for tomorrow they shall die! That is how Nigerian leaders and their supporter live -- Are you one of them? Then you are worst than Internet RAT

General Garicks:

Guy, no amount of income is too much to consume in one month(i mean 30days). When you hear someone earns N1m a show or a month as salary, you shout because you have never earned it. The very month you earn that amount, it will still pass like the other months you were making only N100k. There wont be any difference if care is not taken. Only a person wearing the shoe will understand.

So what's your argument here? That Tuface made his money, spent it within 30 days and come begging you for food?

Don't you think it's silly trying to educate me on how a million Naira feels and looks like?

That's how you know terrible people, they come to the public square to tell tales they know not.

You know and have the contacts of 186 celebrities? Are you a show promoter??

I may probably know Nigerian celebrities more than you claimed to! Here are what I know about Them:

1. Many are making millions per show and having bookings in numbers

2. Some are buying houses while some are building theirs

3. Many are winning awards and going places, representing Nigeria in positive way.

4. They are getting good endorsement contracts running into million

5. Their albums and movies are selling all over Africa in millions of copies.

6. Some are even becoming wealthy as a result of their hard work in the industry.

7. They live the life you can only dream of --

8. You can only befriend 186 of them in your imagination.

While few are extravagant and wasteful, while some are arrogant and bad examples, many are responsible and reasonable.

I really don't like the industry but I hate outright prejudice against anyone!!

If you say The upcoming Artistes live fake life, you may be pardoned but saying "A-List"? Then what makes them A-list?

Do you know who the A-Lists Artistes are? You are talking about P-Square, D'Banj, Genevieve Nnaji, Tuface, Flavour, 9ice, Iceprincde, Desmond Elliot, etc!

Do you mean these guys can't afford the life they live?? C'mon!

Crime / Re: Policeman’s Wife Cooking For Robbers In Zamfara, AIG Says by cameronese(m): 2:05pm On Nov 16, 2012
The AIG's statement is very incoherent -- a clear evidence of how dumb people in authority are in Nigeria.

A policeman's wife is cooking for Armed Rubbers in the forest.

We tried to make arrest but bad eggs in the system frustrated us.

We tried again and they frustrated our plans again.

Anyone who is found engaging in such act will be decisively dealt with.

Which one do we follow Mr Police officers??

Kslib: ***spits.... Pheew*** What da hell is wrong with my xtian brothers here??
So you guys think the israel in the bible refers to the present day israel??
So you believe today's israel are the children of GOD being reffered to in the bible?? No wonder, the bible says one needs the holy spirit to be able to understand GOD's word....
Haba, people just brush through the bible, see israel and conclude that the present israel is the one reffered to in the bible..
Anyway, with time, all of us will know the truth, and you shall be shocked...

Geographically, they are still the same Israel the bible talked about. The very land God promised Abraham that his children will inherit. The very land that Moses (and later Joshua) lead Israel to take over (before and after Jordan river, in and around Jericho and the surrounding cities --- Is still the same place the present day Israel still lives.

The Philistines they repeatedly invaded in those bible days are still the Palestine of today. The Gaza strip was the same place Sampson murdered thousand of Philistines. The same spot David defeated Goliath.

Geographically, nothing has changed -- Spiritually, a lot have changed. God tend to abandon them after they failed to recognize Jesus Christ, that was about the biggest sin they committed against God. If not for that, they would have been no attempt by Palestine or other surrounding nations. The slightest of God's remaining favors and in standing to his promise to Abraham is the reason that still sustain them.

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth.
But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymore.

One thing that make the business attractive is because the materials involved in the production are not costly, anyone can afford them with little efforts. The product sells fast too because people just enjoy eating popcorn for many reasons.

Popcorn is one my favorite snack, likewise it is to many people. We likes it due to The crispy effect in the mouth, the nutritional value, and children likes it a lot so parents buys it for their children.

Again, the profit potential is quite good and if you can take it to the next level, you will be assured of making even much more sales and profit. If you produce 10,000 monthly and sell to the retailers at the price of (maybe) N70, the retailers will sell for N100 and make profit of N30 each... Read the full article from this link:

Celebrities / Michael Vick Spends $20,000 Daily For The Past Four Years! by cameronese(m): 4:44pm On Oct 04, 2012
Michael Vick has blown through nearly $30 million since filing for bankruptcy in 2008 -- nearly 95% of his total income.

According to legal docs filed in his bankruptcy case, Vick made $31 million since he went belly up -- that includes his Eagles salary and various endorsements and other business ventures.

The math is pretty simple -- Vick had to pay a total of $29.6 mil -- of that, $10.9 went to taxes, $9.2 mil went to creditors, $2.7 went to lawyers and accountants, and the rest is for various things, including child support and living expenses.

All tolled, Vick is now left with around $1.5 mil. That's nothing to sneeze at, but considering what he made it's pretty shocking.

Things are looking up for the NFLer. Vick signed a 6 year, $100 million contract in 2011. with almost $40 mil in guaranteed money, so he won't be poor -- in rich terms -- for much longer.
