At last, the Igbos have something to cheer about as they finally get an Igbo indigene gets appointment under President Buhari's administration. The Igbo man who by Name Sunday Ogochukwu Oliseh has been referred by many as "The lucky one" has been unveiled by the Nigeria Football Federation, replacing sacked Stephen Keshi, as coach of the Super Eagles. However, the newly appointed head coach of the Super Eagles has told Nigerians in clear terms that he does not possess the magic of a messiah but would give as much as 150 percent service towards lifting Nigerian football to greater heights. “One thing I will say, dear compatriots, is that I am not a Messiah. I have come to do my very best, give 150%, to take Nigeria football to the next level, with the support of my assistants, the NFF and relevant stakeholders. I am optimistic that we will lift the Nigeria game to a new height,” Oliseh pledged at his official presentation to the media and general public in Abuja yesterday. The former Nigeria’s captain, while dealing with several questions and insinuations on his perceived stubbornness drew the lines between being principled and being stubborn. “I have come to serve, and the NFF has promised to give me all the support I need to succeed. They are the employers and I am the employee. That distinction has to be appreciated at all times,” he said. “I have had meetings with members of the Technical and Development Committee, led by Chief Anyansi-Agwu, very knowledgeable people all. I have met members of the Executive Committee and the General Secretary. I believe we will all work together excellently. It is a huge honour to be Head Coach of Nigeria,” Oliseh added. Meanwhile, NFF president, Pinnick, yesterday announced that his board would immediately pay three months’ salary of Oliseh and his assistants in advance; while the Super Eagles’ gaffer and member of the FIFA Technical Study Group opened a window on his philosophy for player-selection. |

FOR the second time in 13 days, all the major markets in Anambra State were Thursday shut by the leadership of the traders in protest against the relocation of some Boko Haram detainees to Ekwulobia Prison in Aguata local government area of the state. Today’s closure of the markets came on the heels of a high powered security meeting held in Awka between Governor Wilie Obiano and an official from the office of the National Security Adviser, on the possible withdrawal of the Boko Haram detainees from Anambra. Also, the presidents’ general of the 177 communities in the state issued a statement describing as shocking and embarrassing the news that the Nigeria Prisons Service had transferred some detainees of the dreaded suspected terrorists to Ekwulobia. Many traders from outside Anambra State who arrived Onitsha early to make their purchases were taken aback when the traders’ security operatives informed them that all the markets in the South East geo-political zone were closed down to dive home their opposition to the relocation of the Boko Haram suspects to Anambra State. Some of the Onitsha traders, who were unaware of the closure, came early to open their shops, but were turned back by the market security personnel. The closure however did not affect those trading on the streets as they were doing their businesses unmolested. In Awka however, some traders initially tried to challenge security operators for forcing them to close markets, but order was restored after some heated arguments and they allowed to display their wares. The president of Anambra State Amalgamated Traders Association, ASMATA, Okwudili Chief Ezenwankwo later led other officials to Ekwulobia where they were expected to march through the streets. Meanwhile, Governor Obiano hinted after the meeting with a representative of the National Secirity Adviser that the Boko Haram detainees would soon be withdrawn from Anambra State. I dunno why some people dont want to see the real side of this issue. Mr Ubah is only taking advantage of a bad situation to make his money. Everybody is praising him for releasing fuel but nobody is interested in the price he is selling per litre. What favour is he doing Nigerians that fuel he bought at N97 per litre or so is what he is now selling at N250 per litre? Afterall, he is not just a businessman but one of the oil marketers holding this nation to ransom |

1. Understand the Causes. Infections and diseases are the major causes of serious vaginal odor. Examples of such infections and diseases include yeast and bacterial infections, STIs, STDs, or viruses like herpes. Even much more serious problems like some kinds of cancer or internal ruptures can cause vaginal odor. You will need to monitor your body for other signs of illness and if you really feel that your vaginal odor is unnatural, see your doctor. One thing you should look out for are unusual discharges from your vagina. Brown, green, or chunky white discharges are signs of infection and you need to see your doctor as soon as possible. Bear in mind that some discharge is normal and healthy but it should not smell! 2. Watch your diet. Certain foods tend to affect your body in certain ways, by altering your body’s balance of sugar, bacteria, and chemical compounds. -Start by eating less sugar. A spike in blood sugar can cause yeast infections and buildup, which will cause bad odor. -Try eating pineapple. Though there is no scientific evidence, many people swear by the idea that pineapple improves both taste and smell for both genders. -Yogurt is also a great way to help women keep a healthy vagina, as it contains the bacteria which naturally occurs in our body to maintain a healthy vagina. 3. Try shaving or trimming . Having pubic hair can create an environment that harbors bacteria if not cleaned properly. If you want to reduce the likelihood of this being a problem, you can shave your pubic hair or keep it cut short. 4. Good hygiene . If you use soap, antibacterials, use pools frequently, take hot baths, use lotion too close to the vulva, don’t change underwear often enough, use scented pads, use underwear made out of stifling material, this can cause problems. Rinse your vulva with water, avoid soap in your vulva, and wear clean clothes. 5. Another powerful antibiotic is garlic, specifically a clove of garlic. Insert one into the vagina and keep it there for a few hours to remove odor. 6. Avoid hot baths and hot tubs . Surrounding your vagina with overly hot water will kill much of your body’s natural bacteria which preserves the delicate balance of your vagina. Avoid sitting in very hot water too frequently or for too long. Change pads every four to eight hours during the menstrual cycle, as needed. 7. If it’s your natural body odor that is offending you, try increasing your fish, fruit, and vegetable intakes while reducing consumption of red meats. In summary: Never think that your natural smells are bad smells, it’s designed to smell like a vagina and that is a good thing, it’s not supposed to smell like soap, perfumes or flowers! |
