To understand what the so called Christians believed before Constantine came along, just read the sentences in the creed line by line in opposite. Replace ''we believe'' with ''we do not believe'' and you'll discover what Gnostics like Arius believed before the Nicae council.

Council of Nicea was attended by about 318 well read, learned bishops in 325 AD. They all had access to the scriptures. Constantine DIED 12 years later in 337 AD. Do u really think anybody is capable of forcing such a group to sustainably adopt something they don’t agree with as being SCRIPTURAL??Talk less of someone who shortly died. The authority of the council were the scriptures and NOT Constantine that’s why it did not crumble after his death, and has been sustained to this day.

CONSTANTINE DID NOT GIVE ANYBODY ANY RELIGION.
He was too busy fighting wars to even understand Christianity himself. When question of Christ’s deity was going to tear the church apart, he convened a conference of all the bishops that held in Niacea to vote and decide which belief the church should adopt. If he understood Christianity he would have had strong opinion of his own which he would have imposed - he was the emperor.

Constantine was a warrior emperor who had his hands full all his 57 years fighting adversaries, he had no time to be inventing religions. People around him became true Christians- his wife, mother, head of army. He himself had witnessed persecution of Christians as a child and also believed the Christian emblem helped him win a major battle but he was regarded a god himself - it would be rather foolish for a god to convert to another religion, don’t u think? So he didn’t get himself baptized till he was about to die and is buried in a church.

Saying he committed atrocities means absolutely nothing. Didn’t OBJ commit atrocities and had people executed and still a Christian? Warrior leaders commit atrocities, Christian or not.

A little history of Christianity....................

By 5000 BC, the ancient Egyptian spiritual system already had a virgin born, resurrected , son of God called Horus. This belief system got copied all over the world. In nearby Palestine -now called Israel- it became Jeudaism, in India it became Bhudaism and Hinduism, in Greece it became the worship of virgin born, resurrected, son of God called Dyonysius, in Rome it became the worship of virgin born, resurrected,, son of God called Mithra. And many other religions, too many to list.

About 1-30 AD, a sect emerged from Jeudaism called Gnostics. These were genuine Christians. They believed in another virgin born, resurrected, son of God called Jashua. However, like all the other resurrected Gods, it wasn't meant to be understood as a physical resurrection because it didn't happen. This means there were no hierachy. Everybody was equal. When you hear Rome killing Christians, it was the Gnostics, not Christians because they were no Christianity yet.

However, Europeans called them CHRISTIANS, which was a derogatory name because they were willing to die at any moment for what they believed. Rome killed them in thousands per day. But the religion kept spreading in same way boko haram or any other religious sect do today. The eeason they were killed was because their belief empowered them to rebel against Rome, which was a colonial power occupying their land.

When the father of Constantine died, Constantine was vying for the position of Emperor against four other candidates. He was so desperate that he made an alliance with the Gnostics-now increasingly called Christians- to fight along with his army and he promised them that if he win the battle against his rivals, he will make Christianity legal. Think of it like Buhari engaging Boko haram to win a battle his political opponents and promising them he'll make boko haram beliefs legal if he wins.

When Constantine won, he made good his promise but with a BIG catch. The resurrection was to be understood as real and that Peter and co witnessed it. This would eventually allow Rome claim Peter and co as Roman saints and, therefore, at the top of the Christian hierachy. The Gnostics -originally from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Palestine, Turkey-disagreed and left the religion. This is why the Middle East don't believe in Jesus because they witnessed a fraud happen in their own eyes. For their disobidience, Constantine now an emperor, destroyed the genuine Christians completely. There were out-gunned and murdered, and their books burnt.

Rome, then modified Gnosism and added Easter, Christmas, white Jesus, wrote the bible, plus many other Roman pagan beliefs into it. This fraud is what you call Christianity now. So, in reality Rome distroyed Christianity instead of adopting it. What spread across the world is Roman Christianity. The real Christianity died a long time ago！！
