Actually that’s not quite true. Bitcoin is worth thousands for the same reason a childish drawing from Picasso is worth millions: there are people willing to pay that much for it, that’s all. Otherwise both have basically zero intrinsic value. One is number entered on ledgers. The other is an ugly drawing no one would want otherwise!

Hard currencies are stable but Crypto currencies are volatile. Isn't that why y'all invest because you can get insane ROI within a short time? So, it isn't abnormal if the market does otherwise.
Liquidity, daily volume, centralization, events and other determining factors are different in Crypto/Hard currencies.
The only thing constant to all currencies is rise/fall. And this is what matters.
Moreover, assuming Pound could ever rise to $40k, then it can also dip to $25k.
The exchange ratio determines the volatility rate. Hard currencies have tiny exchange ratio, so volatility is also tiny.

As for Picasso, his paintings would keep going up as long as the children of Adam think it's cool to overvalue some less important things.

That’s the problem with this type of case - people jump in in the middle and start commenting without having followed the case. Of course his dorm mates were the first to come out to say there was no playing of football and that the school insisted on that narative even after they told what truly happened. It made front page here on NL. I’ve followed the case from beginning so I KNOW.
And yes, the INITIAL AUTOPSY collaborated what they all said including the dying boy.

There are three parties in the case
1. The victim family
2. The 5 boys families
3. The school
Yes, the family is rich but they needed the cooperation of the school to actually made a headway.
It was the school that threw the spanner in the case. Their insistence that the boy fell while playing ball, gave the families the alibi.
They didn't allow the school in investigate independently. Rather, the made the school appear as culprit.
This might actually be the reason why the school is on same page with the accused, who are connected people in the society.
Why I think the family was too fast?
They were actually accusing the school based on their observations and not medical examinations.
Because they would've sued with their own medical results, so the judge will order for a second independent autopsy.
That will put everyone on caution.
They also said the boy mentioned names? Who was there? But they stampede the school and that made the school to try to protect their image.
If they had allowed the school, they would've disowned those kids and the case won't be bad.
