CrimeRe: Samantha Otobo: Uber Driver Injures Lady's Breast, Breaks Her Phone In Lagos by candelanetworks: 1:31pm On Aug 28, 2019
While no level of provocation justifies getting physical, we must admit here that this is a one sided report. Even a brute will not attack you for simply requesting that you obey the law.
CrimeRe: Nigerian Soldiers Intercept ‘strange’ Military Equipment In Adamawa (photos) by candelanetworks: 7:29am On Aug 25, 2019
PatrickOkunima:
Sentiment apart, no governor has the permit to buy weapons in Nigeria. Let alone automatic weapons. Amosun is not being sincere. Even you know it.
My question still remains, why wasn't the legality of the action challenged then? We all know the poor funding security agencies recieve and the mismanagement of the funds they do receive. So it is not totally out of place that a governor procures weapons, besides all that'll be needed is clearance from the ONSA. The IG then was aware and came for official hand over, while the remaining was kept in the state, for the state's use. I'm not arguing for Amosun, Nigerian politicians are dubious at best, but why now? They've had all the while to raise the alarm, they kept mute ever since.
CrimeRe: Nigerian Soldiers Intercept ‘strange’ Military Equipment In Adamawa (photos) by candelanetworks: 6:43am On Aug 25, 2019
@OP what does Amosun have to do in this matter? I remember clearly when Amosun said he bought those weapons to help the police battle crimes in the state when he was governor. The police took some and other were stored in the government house under police protection. The IG and Commissioners of police were fully aware of the existence of such weapons. When he was leaving office he called on them to get the left over to prevent them being pilfered and used for criminal activities. Why didn't you report and challenge him then?
CrimeRe: Eight People Die In Enugu As A Result Of Generator Fumes (Disturbing Photos) by candelanetworks: 11:04am On Jul 23, 2019
All generators need to have fume poisoning warning signs and stickers on them. Probably in multiple Nigerian languages as well, including Arabic. These avoidable deaths are becoming too much.

No sane country uses live ammunition on its citizens for crying out loud, or are you guys senseless to comprehend the simple narrative
If you take your young child to a protest that's consistently turned violent, would you call yourself sane?

and those kids were also exchanging bullets. May evil greater than this befall your family if you’re a supporter of evil
In all honesty please answer this. What sort of parent brings a child to a protest that has a well known history of turning violent?

EducationRe: Biggest Library In West Africa In Picture by candelanetworks: 4:32pm On Jul 10, 2019
Honestly it is impractical for us in Africa to build large libraries holding hard copy books. Instead of building these to hold hard covers, it'd be much more cost effective to have good Internet access and subscriptions to reputable international journals where students can research from. Most books published now have e-copies out first anyway.

NAFDAC is now working effectively in Sai Baba's reign unlike during PDP's 16 years reign of corruption.
God bless Buhari
Do you even know what you're sayinghuh Do you know how effective NAFDAC was under Dora Akunyili of blessed memory? No NAFDAC boss have been able to match her feat since she left that agency. You don't have to play politics with everything please, it tells poorly on your person.
PoliticsRe: Dino Melaye On INEC Server: When they claim they don't have a server show them by candelanetworks: 12:24am On Jun 16, 2019
MT:
I am sorry but you are so wrong despite claiming to be IT-inclined. You were trying to build an architecture based on your assumption. A database DOES NOT not need to be on the server. It can stand alone on a computer system as a repository. I have pointed this out in a series of my post, there is a reason they call it a SERVER which I expect you to know, if you are as you claim. It is a SERVER because it SERVES out resources to client upon request. If I store resource(s) into a remote computer system, that DOES NOT make that computer system a server. It only becomes a server when the client request for information from the computer system and it responds (that is SERVES) by providing the resources to the client that requests for it.

Not everyone is qualified to talk about server, as easy as it sounds, it is such a technical thing.
Where then does the data for authentication functions of the card reader come from? Where does the card reader send the data to for matching? Be it a data centre in INEC HQ, be it a cloud server or a pentium II PC under somebody's desk. That's the device in question and as much as you'd want to argue, deep down you know it exists. This would be the last from me on this. I wish you peace.
PoliticsRe: Dino Melaye On INEC Server: When they claim they don't have a server show them by candelanetworks: 9:48pm On Jun 15, 2019
Max8:
This Dino guy na buffon, showing us card reader means INEC have a server?,PDP claimed they have results sheet printed from the server, who ever that gave them the print out should be an insider, why can dey also show us pictures or video of the computer room and the server where they are located, rather than all this cock and bull story about server or no server
Are you really ignorant or you're just trying to deny the truth. I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt, being that not all are IT inclined. But please note that, where you have a client that collects data like that card reader, there's usually a centralised data base usually on a server, either physical or virtual that stores this data and from which cross matching is done. INEC cannot deny its ownership of servers for the elections.
PoliticsRe: Governor Seyi Makinde Cancels Midterm Break In Oyo Schools by candelanetworks: 3:08pm On Jun 12, 2019
saheedbadmus:
Mr seyi..remember you would re-contest for a second-term and u know pep in Oyo state might not like ur decisions .. think well before making a decision o
It's better he does a single term, makes an impact on the system and goes away, than spend two terms with nothing to show for it. Until politicians begin to work on leaving a lasting legacy and impact, instead of playing politics of re-election with the lives and well being of the citizenry we'd not make much progress. And you sir, need an urgent reorientation of thought.
PoliticsRe: NBC/AIT: Court Asks Parties To Maintain Status Quo by candelanetworks: 3:42pm On Jun 07, 2019
AfonjaBoston:
Maintain status quo meaning license withdrawal stands
Justice Inyang Ekwo on Friday ordered the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, the Attorney General of the Federation to revert back to state of affairs before May 30, 2019.

Status Quo before May 30. Before May 30, ait was operational, so that is the status quo to be maintained.

All this is grammar. What that person just posted is the fact. Besides when you supply me power, your only concern should be that I pay for what I use. How I use it is non of your business. There's nothing wrong in using it to cook whatever, if your system can't take the load, increase the capacity or ration it. It is shameful that in this age and time we're celebrating a mere 1MW. 1MW won't even power my estate for one week end

Really sad that the average Nigerian youth is so narrow-minded and cheap thinking. It's safe to conclude that given the opportunity as a leader to execute this kind of project or even offer any meaningful solution, you won't be able to because of self-induced pessimism, cynism and lack of vision.

The current not so great old leaders are definitely better than the average Nigerian youths.

iammo:
tongue huh

If not for politics, someone like wike cant seat close to a GOC not to even talk of talking like an urchin about one. Only the Comander In chief has such authority to summon a commander for questioning or levying an allegation on him, But as Nigeria is Banana republic and the Rascal Governors have Imuinity from prosecution, the can defame or assasinate a Generals character and go scott free.

just imagine a Commander from Rivers state posted to Kaduna been lambasted by El Rufai and even been accused without evidence or proof ,

Mr man you're saying nonsense!! Is the general not a Nigerian? Would the governor just wake up and say such if indeed there's no iota of truth in the matter? Y'all should learn to speak the truth when you see it and leave out these nonsense religious, ethnic and tribalistic bias you bring into issues at every turn.

Ingratehuh Is Coachella doing him a favour for that? Like he said he's an African Giant. Even though it really makes no sense about the name print thing, Burna Boy has the right cred to be given same spot like the rest.
