Blissful102:Yes we can. Isn't it something we can talk about here on NL? |
Stayed awake yesterday till past 2am working on a sales page for the last product I'll give a trial. I have to complete it this morning in other to test run it today being a weekend. I also made up my mind to start building a customer list. I think I leave a lot of money on the table running a hot sales campaign as against growing a customer list. Hopefully this will work 🤞 |
Blissful102:It's herbs and roots. Like your normal agbo. So there you go |
Day 6!! I'm on a flow now. I had a meeting with my friends to discuss business and they surprisingly told me they were on a break from smoking as well. The universe really connects to you when you tune in. I also got an invite for a birthday hangout but I had to decline the moment I heard they already rolled up some fat Canadian joints. Twas tempting but I'll pass. I knew it'd be easy if I made up my mind. And if I dedicate time to lifting weights as I have to get my daily dopamine hits else I'll relapse into the habit again |
Clean sheet continues.. It gets easier after Day 3. One thing I've noticed is that the way you see life when sober and high differ a lot. .. Now that I'm sober, e come be like say I done dey see the shege with clear eyes. Omo!! E no easy to face life with clear eyes o. So na this thing people wey no dey smoke dey experience?! Ha! Omo lol |
CandyOps:Day 5. Clean sheet record still up. I fit just finally become non-smoker last last by the end of this fasting. I now experience headaches. Woke up this morning with a dull almost imperceptible ache. I done even nearly pay for some malaria pills this morning b4 my second thought 🤔 reminded me mild headaches are part of the withdrawal symptoms. Damn bleeping withdrawals! 🤦 Still low on motivation and I hope to have enof morale to hit my gym tonight. At this point, I no dey even get 1 single urge to smoke any more. The nightmares are yet to come. I'm expectant... And I'm yet to start getting rewards from the mystic universe. Maybe it's still not convinced at my efforts. I need to put in more work towards my goals (not just in abstaining from weed) |
Bitterkola100:Ok I saw the products you sent me on WA. Does it work for libido also and any NAFDAC cert on it? |
IMO01:Do you mean the dummy solar CCTV? |
dkidd:Yes. I know right? That's why I'm thinking about the health niche. I know a couple of cheap yet effective products that could fly. I'm currently working on the sales page as we speak. I do get a lot of return customers on that as the product is sure especially for men who don't last long in bed. We keep trying till 1 clicks |
ecomalchemistt:Sure. Local arbitrage has been my saviour for a couple of months especially when I sold kids tablets but then market inconsistency made the seller pause with the supplies when the dollar blew past the ₦1k mark. I also delved into health earlier in my e-commerce journey. Men's health niche gave me my first Milla back then in 2018 but 1m isn't worth so much nowadays. I and my guys had a meeting yesterday to discuss the way forward and we decided to give the sex health sub-niche a try again. We stand more chances of getting cheap products that can be sold with like 20k markup on top after expenses and we also planned on creating a list of buying customers so we don't leave money on the table |
Bitterkola100:I have dropped the number on another thread. Reply me here when you see it so I can delete the number |
SarutobiEky:I done drop the number. Reply me here when you see it so I can delete it |
Nazgul:Yea. Already submitted a few applications. I may have to use LinkedIn more often. With focus on marketing and sales opening. I am currently trying to liquidate my funds in Binance because na who dey alive dey invest |
IMO01:Solar is HOT! right now. I have a couple of friends dealing on it. But then I'm looking for cheap products below 5k that I can pair with another then sell. Any good portable solar should cost up to 20k and above. Anything below that would be thrashy. I just want to send a broadcast to my past customers on WA and see if I can get any return customers. |
Bitterkola100:Hi. I don't have access to the email attached to this moniker so I'll mention you on an unrelated thread to Xchange WA number |
SarutobiEky Use Don't quote the number so I can erase it later. Let's chat on WA |
Treborblue:Yes most definitely. 35k per day is a whole lot. I usually start with 10k daily but fund 5 - 7k for like 2 or 3 days before scaling the daily ad budget to 15k while funding 10k. If performances are good, I then scale to 20k daily while funding 15k except on weekends. I go all in Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. FB is crazy if you have the whole formula working out fine for you. |
Day 4, identifying as a non-smoker. 6.45am wake up time. I feel a whole lot better after a full 7 hours rest. I feel refreshed, recharged and brand new. 🌞 Happy independence day my people... Today we count our blessings and loses. Oh damn! I didn't get to fund my Meta advert account as my debit cards got expired yesterday. Plus I was too dizzy to keep my eyes open for another hour to midnight. I'll most def use a friend's card to fund my account as banks are meant to be on a break today. So my routine for the day will be: 1. Journal on NL as I'm doing rn (30mins). 2. Toilet break (15mins) 3. Read a chapter of Brian Tracy's The Psychology Of Selling . Read half a chapter of Robert Greene's The 33 Strategies Of War 40mins 4. Have a little quiet time to meditate (30mins) 5. Look at my To-do list from yesterday and have a mental pic of my tasks ahead today 3. Stretch, cardios (45mins) 4. Bath (10mins) 5. Brew myself a hot cup of black coffee 6. Turn on my ads - back to work. (3 hours) 7. Take a break for 30 mins. 8. I need to take a swim later in the evening. It's been a while I took a dip. 9. Complete the course outline I drafted for my digital products sales and review my advert performance. 10. I should pay for the nursing school entrance form and open a CA & UK Tiktok account for monetisation. Facebook included. I should learn to wake up earlier... 1 hour headstart is better |
Leniroyal:Wow! What triggered your decision to take a break? |
Obierika:So fast forward to 4 months after this post .. ⏩ I actually sold off my 2 inverter ACs & Washing machine. Then I moved in with the rest of my properties with my single friend who stays alone in a 4 bedroom apartment here in Lagos. The original plan was to move back to the East where my bro has an accommodation and my parents also have an accommodation. You may ask, "Was it a good move?" Yes, absolutely! I raised close to 400k selling off my excess properties and reinvestment it into my business but currently business is stagnant and I'm searching for new options to trade in. To be honest, I think I would have made the move earlier. My sales soared but then the naira devaluation and slow turnover is one obstacle I have to overcome which is why I'm seriously considering 2 options: 1. Earn in foreign currency 💲💵 2. Get the Bleep out of this sinking nation. So how do I plan to achieve these: 1. Work visas. Raise like 5m or 7m. And get a valid work visa in CA or any Mediterranean countries and go and do a 100 odd jobs till I get PR especially for countries with such options for care givers 2. Nursing school. Invest like 2 to 3m over a period of 3 years in any nursing school here in Bongo then work my way out after my certification is obtained. From my calculations on the 2nd option, Tinubus government should be entering the 2nd tenure by then. I should be done and out b4 he hands over to El Rufai, Wike or The Dollar Stuffing Governor for the final coup du grace on us. So right now, I need to focus on saving up for nursing school. I go buy form this month and take exams this month. Short term pains for longer term gains |
LastGiantAlive:What's with all these slave mentality? You didn't even try to explore the options of you standing up to your current oppressors. Rather you chose to go back to the white colonisers? We truly deserve the economy and leaders we have because what sort of thinking is this?? How would you even come up with such demeaning thoughts? So your ancestors fought off those colonisers with their sweat and blood for centuries only for you to say such abominable words? You should kneel down with your hands to the floor and heads bowed down to the floor as you ask for forgiveness from your ancestors for even entertaining such thoughts. It's an abomination for you to even let those sick words come out of your lips.. over 300 years of slavery and ethnic cleansing was for nothing? I pray your ancestors find a way to overlook the evil thoughts you harbour in your mind. I pray you have the mental clarity to see through the webs and realise the enemy has always been the white government (not just all white men) whom you rather bend your back over for to be raped, maimed and whipped with the koboko & our own brothers who have been made gatekeepers of the nation's treasury and armoury ![]() |
3seriez:Another slave boy who prefers the white man's oppression as against standing up for his rights. SMH... I don't think we are ready for any firm of positive change in this nation |
vowiski:Most Nigerians are super religious/superstitious. A nation where a full grown adult male without any form of disability will relegate his social duties to a god rather than take action. It's pitiable and laughable. A country where leaders who steal billions of naira are hailed but a petty thief is given the jungle justice. We truly deserve the leaders we get |
Day 3. Clean record smashed! 3 days complete..No THC inhaled. My lungs are getting the most needed rest it deserves... My motivation was low today sha. I didn't lift any weights today. I got my business travails on my mind. My car had pressure hose issue. Had to cough out close to 30k to fix that. The only thing that put a smile on my face today was the warm bowl of yellow eba and bitter leaf soup I had for dinner. .. I wasn't feeling today at all. I guess it's the withdrawals... Yeah! Thinking about it now... It could be the withdrawals. The first 3 days are the worse as it gets better with time. The vivid nightmares are yet to come and I'm expectant. Fuckin' withdrawals! I feel sleepy but won't bait an eyelid as I need to turn on my FB ads by midnight so it starts running as early as possible from tomorrow morning |
SarutobiEky:It's ok. Mention me on a separate thread let's see if we will exchange emails |
I'm down to my last 100k and can't seem to support myself and babe with such poor income. It's really affecting my love life and all. I think I'll have to buckle up on whatever it is I wanna do cos water has really passed garri ![]() I'm even considering going back to school at my age. I could start a career in nursing and in 3 years time I should be done and work my way out of this country. By then, Tinubu should be starting his 2nd tenure. And I should be out before he hands the baton over to El Rufai or Wike or Tambuwal who will now give us the final SmackDown. It's like being stuck between a rock but I still gotta make a move. I know I'll figure it out. I always do. It's just exhausting looking back at where I started and not seeing any real growth in my financial metrics. 2018 - present time. 1 million naira before was like 3k dolls. Now it's a mere 600 and some. It feels like I'm hustling backwards. I see people online smiling and laffing at memes or making tribal remarks to score cheap points instead of being mad and infuriated by the current economic situation. It's funny how Nigerians be suffering and smiling. The IMF just approved almost 5billion dollars loan for us and my question remains -- why giving us money we can't pay back if there isn't anything in it for you? It got me thinking the whole system is rigged against me and I have to make a move. Modified.... Someone just DM'ed me a product I can source for 25k (landing cost) and sell with like 50k on top. He already has stocks on ground and I only need to buy as I get orders. Hopefully that works. Long term plan - save up, get a work visa and abort the sinking ship b4 it's too late. 2nd plan - get into nursing school. Give it 3 years while selling online in the background... Then GTFO of this sinking ship. Gosh! |
I spend at least on an average 250 to 500k on FB Ads monthly. I sell strictly online with no physical shop Niche- Gadgets and electronic wearables. I had to stop selling kids iPad as the cost price keeps soaring and one spoilt product will erase any gains you made from past sales. Plus dollar to naira is killing the gains. My dashboard sales are great. With CPA averaging at 3000NGN per purchase on dashboard but with 30% success rate in deliveries that means that my real time conversion rate is around ₦6k. . I don't build a list as I'm focused on Hot Sales and direct response. So I had to switch up my products and I ran a test ad for wearables like smart watches and accessories. It was good with conversion rates averaging N750 - 900. Realtime conversion rate should be like 2700 (approx. 3k) I paused the ads. Raised 700k Imported at the rate of N9k per watch... Plus 5k for delivery as we run a free delivery service for every order. BREAKDOWN: - 5K Delivery + 9k watch + 3k ads = 17 to 20k expenses b4 sales on top 1 sale Selling price = N23k - 20k = 3 to 5k gains after sales on approximate (4k = profit, mean value) Now, we didn't include spoilt items and returned items. Let's say for every 100pcs bought you'll get like 5 or 7pcs faulty. Now if I have 6 watches successfully delivered a day... That is, 6 x 5 = 30pcs delivered in a week. 30pcs x 4k profits (mean value) = 120k gains weekly. 120k x 4 weeks = 480k monthly It sounds good on theory but then every business person knows theory is quite different from practical results. For example, the masses may decide to have a full blown 2 weeks of protest to End Bad Governance and shut down half the country. Or... Some shit you never anticipated will pop up. So last last you may end up with 300k in gains. Okay. By the time you minus personal expenses and upkeep. You'll have little left to top up and import more. Here's what I mean... Normally, you won't wait for the entire goods you imported to finish b4 you stock up abi? I mean if you run Facebook adverts and you target nationwide you'll know it's a recipe for disaster if you let your stocks run dry b4 ordering for more. Because if for example, you have stocks in Kano, Jos, Benue and Uyo. But is out of stock in the main states with highest purchasing power like Abuja, Lagos, Warri, Benin and PH then you will have lots of unfulfilled orders hence money lost as FB will charge you whether you fulfil your orders or not. Now, remember the 300 - 400k gains? it gets decimated here .. because you have to keep funding your ad account daily and have to stock up on inventory and fight against time to enable better turn over. Ok. To navigate that issue we try to redistribute stocks from states with goods to states that need them thereby attracting more expenses on logistics. By the end of the day, you'll have little left to buy more goods. On the next import you'll buy like 60pcs instead of 100. And we're not even considering the non-stop Naira decline against the dollar peg. ... Now, every seasoned business owner reading this already knows the solution to this: 1. Increase selling price 2. Change the product. I tried both. I increased the selling price but got a decline in number of daily orders. Which also meant the price per purchase crept up on Facebook. I tried switching to a more expensive model of the smart watch and didn't even get 1 order for it. I got burned as I didn't test run the product b4 stocking up. I kinda assumed it'll fly because the version I was already selling is hot-in-demand. So I'm stock with stocks worth almost 350k and not much sales going on. Along the line, all the other money you think you made it gone with the winds. ... I'm got tired of importing and tried sourcing for the goods locally so as to avoid importation wait time but the ones sourced in Nigeria is more expensive with about 3k on top. Doing business in Nigeria shouldn't be this hard. I may have to switch back to digital marketing and growing a list of audience cos I can't keep up with this shit. I should do just that. On a 2nd thought 🤔💭 I could source for cheap products that costs less than 3k and resell for as high as 25 +or 30k. Or sell a digital course. I gotta make moves. Attached is a picture of my annual ad spend on 1 of my Facebook business account...

Clean sheet Day 3 morning. Feeling quite low on motivation today. My Facebook ads aren't performing well. Almost 30k spent. Lots of dashboard conversion but no real time conversion. Money down the drain. Money wey I for use fix car chop up. No wams. I need to switch to a new product and focus on Lagos only as against the whole nation. Hmmm I pray God help me |
bigsyke:Lol Not really. It's just a bottle of beer and done sparingly... but then it's your life and your choices not mine |
Mossad bad sha. . Tbh them bad esp with the collabo with the US marines ... na die. Imagine say them use drone target Hezbollah man for middle of traffic and na only him vehicle them hit. Zero civilian casualty. |
Cesarr1:Lol. Guy abeg ![]() I no wan laff Day 2. Still keeping my clean record. But had to down a bottle or 2 of Trophy with my home boys after service. Let's keep it going. Na 19 days remain. I don't like the feeling of not being in control of my addiction |
