Because telling a rich man to date only classy ladies or powerful or famous ladies that have something to lose as a way of avoiding blackmail is a waste of time sis, it won't happen. in as much as I would never expose a lover's picture (ex/current) on social media without their permission, especially when in such a vulnerable state, I would never allow any man, rich or poor or his aides, to search and dispossess me of my personal belongings in order for me to be in their company

I've never dated older men. I've always preferred my own age mates.
- Fights are always fair, I choose to let him win on my own accord, not because he's older, I've always respected older people.
- You get to act silly and be yourself, life is waaay more fun with your own age mate
- Its nice grow together, to watch life flower and unfold for the both of you rather than to meet someone who's 'already made', I don't see any fun in that.

I once was extremely attracted to this certain guy that I worked closely with on a certain project and we would see each other about 3 times a week on a one-on-one basis. We both knew the feeling was mutual but kept it professional, we wouldn't even shake hands due to the intensity of our attraction, I worked with him for a bout 7 months and the build-up was just too much.

Then one day, as I walked into one of our meetings, he greeted me with his arms wide open and we had an electrifying hug, I swear I have never once felt anything close to what I felt at that moment.

We did, towards the end of our project, have a one night stand.

She passed away so suddenly and left this huge void in my life that no one will ever be able to fill - my best friend.
I know my comment is a bit out in the context of this topic, but it did feel like betrayal...her leaving just like that. We had just started our careers after varsity and were looking foward to so much.

@Op thanks for opening the thread; Im eagerly awaiting advise/opinions. I am financially independent but haven't reached the level I thought I would have at this point ,marriage is on the cards for sometime next year, fiancé is all ok with where I am financially and career wise, yet my own family is not so supportive saying we should "hold on" a bit on getting married and I should focus on my career and financial growth

Let me advice every lady reading this.

I am not an advocate of men cheating on their wives but please, the moment you get married,expect that guy to cheat on you. 9 out of 10 guys will cheat on you even if you are the most sexy lady in the world. Hard to take but the truth is that a randy man will be a randy man and there is nada you can do about that and trust me, if you keep changing men from now till eternity, you are almost likely to experience same situation

The best bet is to tel him if you suspect anything to do it far away from your notice and that is the best way he can show respect to you and don't ever think of getting even because that shame will be yours and he can send you packing and that will be even a greater disgrace for you.
