I saw this in the telegram group that I am in. For those asking if they can remove the POF after printing out statement to apply for visa.

It doesn't mean anything. It is that way because you did Walk in. Mine is like that too. I did walk in with my dependants. So no need to be worried. Just Paitently wait for your visa�

I heard they don't give CAS to Nigerian students, they do the visa application themselves through the rep.

Well I don't know how true this claim is but all I know is that once you upload all your required documents on the CAS shield page it automatically shows 25%, on the 5th day it reaches 100% and within 24-48hours CAS will be issued.

Maybe someone who has experienced what you just said will be able to shed more light.

There is no way to speed it up. It's automatic and it will take 5days for it to get to 100% and your CAS will be issued within 24 -48hours. Just go and start preparing your money to pay IHS and visa fee.

Why are you worrying yourself? It's not even 3weeks yet. You should only be worried if after 3weeks you don't hear from them then you can send a paid mail. I did mine on the 22nd of July and I am waiting for 3weeks before I start contacting them if I don't get feedback. Guy abeg go and sleep. Good night.

Earlier today someone told us they only allow family members with same surname to do walk-in together and l am still using my maiden name. Please how true is this? Plus we have marriage certificate to show proof of our marriage.

This is not a problem. All you need to do is go with your marriage certificate to show at the gate since you ar still using your maiden name.

Yes you can do walk in with your husband at the vi tls centre and you will have to pay ₦42,000 for it. I did walk in at the VI tls centre with my dependants on Friday.

Yes. I got August 1st for vi tls centre. I booked on Friday evening.

Check if you will get a date for assisted services but please note that you will pay for assisted services. If you don't get then you keep checking to see if you will be lucky to find a date.

Do you have dependants? If you do try booking for your dependants and choose any available date for yourself then you do walk in on the day if your dependant's appointment. I was able to get a closer date in July for my dependants and August for the myself.

No, just tell the security at the gate that you want to change information on your certificate. Also them your payment receipt. They will direct you to the place where you will be attended to.

‘Reason’ with a top officer in that command and you ‘d be amazed what can happen otherwise, you miss out on the CAS shield thing

For correction on your TB certificate. Pay 8,500 naira into IOM account, take the receipt to IOM centre to effect the correction on your certificate.

Get to immigration office and do all you can to get your new passport ASAP, otherwise, you might not meet up with CAS shield deadline, as the link is usually opened for a short timeframe

Immigration said they can't do anything that I should come back in a month's time since I just captured last month. I am just sad ☹️

Good morning gurus in the house. Please I need an advise on this. I have submitted all the required documents on my CAS shield. The problem now is that the page is requesting for a new passport as my passport with expire January 2023. The message on the page is that my passport will expire less than 6months before the start of my programme.

I already captured for a new passport but as usual no booklet. I am just so confused on what to do next now.

Please has anyone tried to use this tradesystems.gov.ng portal to pay fees? I'm trying to register, to receive OTP is wahala, been refreshing my mail for 30 minutes, no OTP.

Go to your bank to update your correct email on your BVN. I had the same issue too but was rectified by my back and was able to receive OTP.

N.B make sure you go to the bank branch of the bank where you registered for your BVN. All the best.

Hey guys so I calculated my Total cost of studies and living expenses for me and my dependent to be 24500pounds, this was after the 4000k scholarship and deposit was deducted… please i will like to ask if 13.5m will be sufficient for Proof of funds? i calculated using Oando xchange

To be on a safer side, when calculating your POF do not use the exact oanda rate because of fluctuations. You can calculate using 550 or 600

Go to Oyin Jolayemi street in VI. That's where the stuff is being done. They will handle it. Go there and quarrel with them.
