I noticed it too. Van Nistelrooy was the reason I started supporting man united, but when Fergie benched him with saha and subsequently chased him away, even though he is our top scorer that season. I simple wished he succeeded at madrid, because I too like the guy. But United remained my team thorough and thorough, I never bashed fergie or wished we failed or hated saha just to justify Ruud's sale. Infact I adored Saha.

People can never be satisfied, that's how they will heap pressure on the 18 year old, and tommorow is he fail to score in few matches, they will start destroying him with senseless criticism. Rashford was lucky he started scoring and assisting, they have started asking him already to learn from an 18 year old who just graduated from the academy.

Well i will leave Expert17 to speak for himself, but even i was getting tired of DDG allowing cheap goals to be scored against him week in week out, i don’t have an agenda against DDG.

There are other Man Utd fan sites were calls have been made for Henderson to be recalled to replace DDG. Making such a call does not have to be agenda driven.

A steady keeper is better than one that makes great saves and allows cheap goals.

I try not to harbour any agenda against any United player. Any United player who proves me wrong by improving and becoming a good/great player and helping the team win titles only brings joy to me.

The joy Man Utd’s victories give me is greater than any smugness or pride i can get by being right that a player is not good enough.

Maguire must get his routine bashing per match na. Eventhough he was bombing forward last match from defence, orchestrating and linking play. I wonder why people have not noticed that Maguire is one of the best ball playing defenders in the league. Last match he even made a crucial last ditch tackle to deny Zaha, coming from a slip up in the midfield, but nobody de see that one.

Pogba while he has been excellent since his return nearly cost us against aston villa, but someone here tried to put it on matic until I corrected him, against Southampton we were made to pay for the same pogba slip up. But Bruno who is even the reason why we are even too 4 discussion should keep it simple. Even with the bruno dropping performances he still orchestrated our 2 goals last match getting 1 assist. I admit that bruno performance dropped, but isn't it obvious that its because of the number of matches he has played in such a short period of time? People sef

My personal opinion is that they were wrong for attacking you on DDG. But in the same vein you are wrong to attack them on Bruno.

I would have to admit however that your DDG criticism was eminently more justified than the Bruno criticism.
David was dropping disaster class after disaster class and they were defending him because of what he had done in the past! What a penkelemes.

The overarching idea though is that no United player is above constructive criticism. We have won nothing yet for us to be having sacred cows.

We should learn to distinguish agenda from fair analysis.

God bless you doc, If DDG has been alive to his duties this season, we won't be doing permutations on how to enter top four, there is nothing further than the truth here. But for some people he is immune to criticism and must be pontificated for not moving to madrid and and signing a 375k/week contract with us.

Unless we are not watching the same games cos Bruno has been misplacing a lot of passes lately and it's only right fans no matter how we love him expect better from him... yes Bruno has won 2 epl player of the month and rightly so but you and I know his performance level has dropped and if he was performing like since restart he won't have won those awards... having said that, he's human same with Ddg and Martial and every other member of the team, collectively we are demanding more from the team not only from Bruno and when they put in good performances we praise them, but it seems DDg and Martial can do no good in your eyes...

Same way Maguire and co can do no good in majority of peoples eye, even when he has played every single match, due to lack of fitness of his counterparts.

There is nothing constructive in his Criticism of DDG, rather reflection of emotive Bias. DDG dropped Forms. He was called out by almost Everyone but fairly.

No one is shielding DDG from Criticisms. Martial FC ain't shielding their favorite from Criticisms as well. I guess few Weeks ago, Lana tore his Martial FC Membership Card on this Thread.

Patrickmuf and Gloryisaac, two known Martial FC Conveners have never shielded him from Criticisms like Expert17 is doing for Bruno.

Let's be factual here Doc. Expert17 has pure Agenda towards DDG, perhaps because he's a retired GK.

While, Expert17, use to be a little harsh on DDG, most of you guys, I dont want to mention are acutely and annoyingly bias towards DDG, he does no wrong in your eyes. DDG has directly cost us more points that every other player this season. If Maguire, Shaw or any other less "favourites" commit half of what DDG has done, there will be serious call for them to be offloaded. You can't deny that there is a clear bias towards some certain players, so dont pretend as if you dont know, you might not be among, but dont say nobody is shielding him, for sure he is being shielded from Criticism.

Mctomminay as young as he is ( yes he is still young considering when he graduated), was surprisingly torn into shreds just because he couldn't match Matics level in our last match, not that he put any foot wrong. Shaw has been unfairly criticised, even though he kept dropping spirited performances, that he was substituted was among the major reason we drew the Southampton game, Maguire who has played every single game this season, due to the fitness problem of our other CBs has been dragged into pieces for being dribbled on few occasions even when our defence is among the best in Europe, any good thing he does is waved away with scorn, for him to come from Liecester this season and be awarded captain by ole, then he must be some leader. Rashford who was out for up to almost half a year due to back operation has started getting unfair judgements, without being allowed to gain back his match fitness until now, thank God it has died down, because he has recovered his form. Fred is another person, pogba is the new bride who its obvious is far better than Fred, but it was the same Fred who was putting in virtuaso performances against City, Chelsea etc, when we had nobody.
Mind you I also personally criticize the above players, when need be, but you can't accuse expert117 of having an agenda on DDG when its vice versa on the others.
For some people, Martial, Lindelof and DDG does no wrong, someone was even wishing the team fail because Ole dared to sell Lukaku last season, Imagine! For me DDG and Martial are among my personal favourites but I dont miss the opportunity to tear into them when the misbehave. We know it can never be equal preference for every player but let's not do as if Expert117 is wrong for calling out DDG because every of his criticisms on him has been VERY SPOT ON. the only issue is that he (expert 117) does not acknowledge it when DDG does well like our last match. Likewise most of you when Maguire and shaw for example put in excellent performances.
The general idea is criticise constructively, and praise when appropriate. Expert my be guilty in parts for DDG, but he is not alone.

This is only his second full season as an EPL keeper. For a connoisseur of football knowledge, I’m surprised that you missed this.

I know all that, our former youth player Tommy Heaton was Burnley's first choice when they came up, Heaton was very very outstanding, but got injured, pope replaced him. when he returned, it was clear Pope is better than him. Why I said 3 years running is that all the time he is available he still maintained elite standard. Infact everytime he is available he is easily Burnley's best player, making saves after saves. He is a player I have followed very closely. Even Heaton himself went to Villa, and have been outstanding before his injury.

Leave na. Moreover I am not saying for sure that Pope is better than any of the keepers I have mentioned, But the guy is the real reason Burnley fights for European places every season. He makes unbelievable saves and rarely makes mistakes. It's not even a hidden fact. While it's about choice and perspective, for me on current form, Nick pope is the best keeper in EPL this season

Larride, you see what am telling u about DDG, in crucial games like this, he should stand out.

For eg, today, when it was 0-0 he kept us in the game, we scored he kept us in the game, even when it was 2-0 he saved from Zaha to kept it that way and avoid a nervy finish.

That's is what keepers of his calibre do, Oblak, Allison, Pope, Handanovic etc.
