This goal is clearly the fault of the number 3. He was out ran by Son, he failed to mark when he got in the box, then impeded Christensen for a clearance to allow Alli to score.

I mentioned this same thing on this thread about 2 or 3 years ago. First he has to arrange his legs to pass the ball and in the process wastes time, secondly he passes it to the foot or slightly behind the player thereby killing any advantage the overlapping full back has.

Smalling is a disaster waiting to happen. I haven't seen a united defender as useless as him in recent time. No wonder Southgate don't invite him for the national team. In every premier league team, you will at least name one defender better than him.
