J Amedino99: you are the first person to allude to their northern status btw. Im sure people were only complaining because they are northerners and not because salim plays for a little known club out of croatia and usman muhammed plays in second tier isreal. Definitely because of tribalism. Usman Mohammed plays for Ironi Tiberias, iwgich is in the Isreali First division. Get your facts right. I am frim the Southeast but I have seen people here repeatedly talk down on players because they are from the north. I can pull out posts here that are clearly condescending and teibalistic, stop trying to gaslight us to live in denial. All these nonsense we do in Nigerian politics, we are not supposed to bring it into the National team. We have 28 man team but we are hammering for days about Usman Mohammed as if his presence or absence will matter. In 2004 we came with 23 players, 3 players were sent packing after the first match due to indicsipline, we nearly made the finals. If Osihmen, Chukwueze, Akor, Lookman, Simon , Iwobi and co cant make us win, then we are not ready. Tochukwu Nnadi has never played for the Super Eagles before, I didnt see any backlash, But na Fago and Usman invitation una dick go rise. Meanwhile the highest goal scorer for Super Eagles in the World Cup is a Northerner Ahmed Musa. |

Sadiqali24: There are about 6 to 7 midfielders but na Muhammad Usman that wouldn't make us win . There are about 6 attackers but na fago wouldn't make us score.. Hmmm I am surprised ooo, Normally the list is supposed to even be 23. But na the 5 extra wey CAF give us de cause wahala. If Osihmen, Akor, Lookman, Chuwkwueze and co cannot score then we are not ready |

semid4lyfe: Happy Paul Onuachu is in the squad. He deserves to be rewarded for his form.
Have mixed feelings about Dessers . I dont think he's cut for the physicality of african football. Would have preferred a Rafiu Durosinmi.
Chrisantus should have made the list based on his Getafe reputation and performances over Salim Fargo due to his versatility and ability to play as a CDM. CAM and SS. Eff Crystal Palace. There's no way Chrisantus wouldn't have made the list were he still in Getafe and playing regularly.
31 years old Mohammed Usman? No words. Sometimes players are brought to the tournament for Penalty shoutouts . What if Cyril is good with Penalties? The number is 28. So adding extra 5 for special purposes is not bad. We need to get dedicated people that can play penalties for us and get them somehow on the pitch before the shoutout. Egypt got to AFCON finals with penalty prowess of Gabaski |

Why is availability a problem for Osihmen? I know he might be injured. But man can’t just be available for save his life. Look at Haaland for example he plays all matches. Salah and Mane in their prime plays all matches. |

Joebie: We have a higher chance of getting the Swiss young international, Zachary Athekame (20), of AC Milan than Michael Kayode. The latter indicated early this year is that his dream is to achieve big things for Italy senior national team. Lets try and get both of them, also Honest Ahanor of Atalanta. If teams like Dr Congo and Senegal can convince top players to commit to them, we can too. We just need to lay out a detailed plan of making the team better and stronger. We needed to get as much quality players as possible. |

ChrisKels: Keep Osayi far away from this team. That boy is crap.
In our next match, don't break up the combo of Bassey and Benji to feature error prone Ajayi, rather play Awaziem as a right back. Very good. We need aerial presence at the back. Dr Congo are good at Set Piece. Infact thats their only hope of scoring. |

Cocony: Wetin you understand or misunderstand? Akinsanmiro is an average if not below average player for now playing for a hapless team albeit loaned out to a hapless bottom placed team. I will rather make a case for including a GIFT ORBAN in attack than an Ebenezer Akinsanmiro in our midfield based on all Serie A matches both have played. Conclusively some recommendations seen and supported here bear some undertone of ethnicity. Same with not calling out Ademola Lookman's flaws just because of an APOTY award. I am an igbo, I want Lookman to start the next match. And I want Akinsamiro to be invited. And another thing. i want Kayode to be convinced to join the SE. So dead this your agenda |

Eric Chelle must use this lineup agaisnt Gabon for Solidity. When Ajayi returns he replaces Awaziem.
Second half bring in Moses Simon and Frank Onyeka to shore up the team. And may be Akor for Lookman in the dying minutes
