The fact that Ndidi, Zaidu and Osayi-Samuel are played 90 minutes in this game. Shows we dont have a coach. Eric Chelle is a very very substandard coach. |

WarHammer2000: I think Iwobi is good at passing but poor at ball recovery. His weakness isn't showing in this game because the opponent is weak.
Best thing is to play Iwobi as a 10 and put two hustlers (Ndidi and Onyeka) behind him to do all the ball-winning while he concentrates on creating chances. Ndidi is not a hustler. |

I agree. I think it will come with time. With your point in mind, we can understand the need for direct play. However, Chelle needs to build on the midfield with time. [/color] With this midfield if we met teams like Senegal or Dr Congo or Ivorycoat who are good in the midfield, we might pay |

joelsteron: Sunday Olisey said the tanzanians have been playing very well, and i wondered whether he would have said that if he was a tanzanian? He also said they were dictating the way the game was going with their disciplined setup. When they conceeded he said their defensive game plan cost them. See commentator |

We are playing Chukwueze, Lookman and Iwobi yet. We dont have anyone hugging the wings. All our crossings in transition into the box has come from Osayi and Zaidu both who are not just good enough. This will be a long tournament for us. |

My First half thoughts.
- The defence was passive after we scored, a bigger team may capitalise. - Iwobi, Lookman and Chukwueze has been impressive in transition. - We need to find replacements for Osayi-Samuel, Zaidu and Ndidi. We can win any reasonable match with these 3 starting.
- Osihmen and Akor needs to step up their finishing, I watched the SA and the Egypt game, they finished better, this will be the difference in the later stages of the competition. |

When I see Salla-edine and Mazraoui for Morroco moving the ball with quality, then their Osayi and Zaidu for Nigeria. SMH. We need to do better |

minfelix: bros Madagascar don show us shege one time like that oo🤣🤣 Did they knock us out, we have already 6 points then and qualified. We later reached semifinal and narrowly lost to Algeria the eventual champions who beat Senegal wey most of una de like overhype. In that same tournament, Benin comot Morroco for R16, SouthAfrican knocked out Egypt the host also in the R16, nextvyear the same Egypt reach Final with almost the same team. If na we be host and lost in the R16, out ear go don full. |

You can criticise, but dont misinform us that other teams dont lose too. Like I said earlier nothing is to special about African football, Just get makr your players de play for high level and committrd to play for you finished |

but bro remember na Lesotho,Djibouti,Swaziland,Eritrea….why u dey carry am go Malawi and Mauritania na… We are not the only team thst has failed to qualify for Afcon. My points is that Minnows dont beat Super Eagles in AFcon and knock the out, even medium teams like Burkina, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, Angola ETC, havent really k ocked us out. |

I minfelix: bro calm down🤣🤣🤣 im sure those poor results were greeted with outrage from their fans, to sit their federation up….na wetin we sef dey do bayi…we are giants of africa so we should not be complacent when those things are now coming to us back to back
oga finally make i tell you…fear factor dey african football… ask Lesotho/Swaziland/South Sudan/Djibouti/Eritrea etc to choose whom to face in an away match if they were to be given opportunity to qualify for the world cup in a one legged match, between: Nigeria/Morocco/Algeria/Egypt
Dey know dey cant beat any of the above countries oo, but dey may wanna eye coming to face us in Uyo to shock us or run away with a draw…
dem no say if dem smell north african teams na 7-0 5-0 8-0 9-0 dem go chop go house Same North African Countries like Algeria and Tunisia that lost to Malawi and Muaritania in the last AFCON and crashed out of the group stages. Thos same Dr Congo that we are outraging today as if its doom and gloom knocked Egypt out in the last AFCON early, without their new and naturalised recruits like Tuanzebe, Sadiki, Wan bissaka, Mbuku etc. Morroco that has been a super power since time immemorial just the chop group stage and R16 exit back to back. I havent seen any medium class African team, knock out Nigeria in any AfCON. Since we won it in 1994. 2000- Cameroon, 2002- Senegal, 2004- Tunisia[host], 2006- Ivrocoast, 2008 and 2010- Ghana, 2019- Algeria, 2021- Tunisa, 2023- Ivorycoast. Even South Africa in this their current state is still afraid of Nigeria, i noticed it in our away game vs them. But all these other teams loses to lower team from A to Z. Infact in 2019, it was Benin that removed Morroco.,in 2012, Niger knocked out Senegal, i no wan talk about Ghana and the likes of Comoros and Mozambique. I know that the world cup loss pained everyone, but Even Italy failed to qualify for 2018 WC, bounced back and won Euros 2020, they again failed to qualify for 2022, this year they are still in the play offs. If not for expanded WC they would have missed this one too. Even they Senegal and co we are hailing, their Football association didnt do anything special, they just happen to possess plenty of quality talents playing in Europe at this time. So all this doom and gloom talk no de too bother me. |

minfelix: egypt still dey show minnows pepper na, and also still qualify back to back to worldcup na🤣🤣 Na lie, All the so called big teams do recieve beating on few occasions. There is nothing like fear factor in African football. Juat have few good players and a good coach you will be good to go. The Egypt you are talking about rarely qualifies for World cup and was knocked out in the R16 in the last AFCON Likewise Senegal, Ivory Coast was nearly knockedout in the Groupstages before they got their acts together to win, before that they havent done anything reasonable since 2015, that they won it, they also missed 2 world cups in a row. Morroco has not won AFCON since 1976, and only made the Semi in 2004 the only time for over 30 years. Ghana where knocked out of the AFCON group stage twice in a row, the other time it was round of 16, this year they failed to qualify altogether. SouthAfrica has been in the wilderness for years now. Tunisia own be say apart from 2004 that they hosted and used ojoro to win they have never done anything reasonable in Afruca football, always qualifying for World and ending up disgracing Africa. |

semid4lyfe: To be clear, the major thrust of NFF's petition is that DR Congo FA knowingly withheld relevant information (lying by omission) and misled FIFA into clearing those players. Spot and know the difference. Thats the key thing people are not noting. There is a portion in the nationality switch form where it was stated if they have dual nationality and if it denounciation is required. If these players fail to state it clearly, its deception |

Karlovich: None of the Malaysian players in question were born in Malaysia, lived in Malaysia for the minimum 5 years required by FIFA, or had a parent/grandparents that were born in Malaysia.
Are you aware that one can acquire legal citizenship of a country through marriage yet FIFA doesn't give a crap about it anymore.
Currently there are 2 Nigerians representing Armenia because they got their citizenship after meeting the 5 year residency requirement Ok. That means NFF are just Jokers, why dis they even send the petition since its watery. They have successfully disgraced us in public be that |

lovewins: This case isn't the same as DR Congo's though. Malaysia registered players fraudulently who had no ties to Malaysia but fasley claimed ancestry to the place. What Malaysia should have done instead was to give citizenship to said players via naturalization (assuming of course they'll follow the laid down rules for naturalization).
DR Congo's case is a different conversation all together. The heritage of the players concerned aren't in question. It's really about trying to take advantage of a technicality to our advantage. In the FIFA application documents, did they write it there that they have dual citizenship? |

Danielnino00: Are you sure you're a supporter? I've noticed that you emit this bad belle vibe most times.... You obviously defended South Africa and claimed they won't be punished by FIFA.... you also argued that the Eritrea factor won't be applied to enable us qualify as second best placed team.....I might be wrong, but you were also among those who defended Libya's maltreatment of our players in their country....
I seriously doubt if you're a supporter Forget the gaslighting he is nt a supporter. No same person will support Libya in that issue. His hate for Super Eagles is clear. Dont mind him |
