GOD KNOWS NOBODY SAID THE AINT BAD ROADS IN LASGIDI! The Op must be a pro-buhari campaigner, because the are the type of people that went infront of bristish palamantarians to spew all sort of rubbish about Nigeria, without acknwolodging a single "good deed". To hell with the Op. Go and hug transformer, if u like, even in US AND India and china there are slumps and bad roads.

zaandrew: They still got a lot better asw sytems and traing than you. USA is not nato only one USN ship was part of the task force. That report(forum) it self is suspect the USN put a lot of effort in to ASW.
full ASW capabilities of the NATO NAVIES WERE NOT TO ANY EXTENT UTILISED. We are talking about a war game here, its may have been a live simulation bt it can never be downplayed to represent a vivid and true war scenario! In real war there might have been intillegence gathering that may have led to posible disruptions, there might have amphibious patrols, there might have been more war toys in use to defense the attacked marine zones. Its just basically like a minister of defense sitting down in his/her office and dictating commands and giving orders to infantries in the war front! He might think he is fighting the enemy bt he doesnt have the slightest mind picture of how the infantry men are doing in RED ZONES. I actualy honestly recognise the sA NAVY 4 "possibly sinking the Nato ships". Kudos to them! Bt truth be told in a real war scenario, even a small ship with ASW Capabilities can pose a gargantous treat to any submarine, given real time intelligence as well as stategic patrol and communication abilities. Anything is posible in a war time! Even almghty US DRONES WERE Hijacked by SMALL IRAN, and missiles redirected, Highly trained Us soldiers with "war games" experience were anhiliated in dozens by rag tags in aghan and iraq. BEWARE EVEN MEND COULD pose a gargantous threat to SANDF
PoliticsRe: Reps Want Perimeter Fencing Of Nigerian Borders by Capnd143(m): 11:40am On Apr 26, 2013
Joeblis: am sorry i think you hapend to be the illitrate here cause even the USA has something similar to this in their border with mexico..the fence is just for security
if isreal had not fence their border with Gaza sucide bombers could have leveled them by now...nigeria borders are just to open, fencing them will help alot.
So the move is a good one causa most of this boroharam jihadist are not nigerians.
you seem to be the only person with brain around here, the rest are just bunch of retards! The just keep critisizing everything the govt do, be it good or bad, all the do is paint the already black nation blacker! Even develop countries employ these methods, so i dnt see why nigeria shouldnt, given the rate or level to which our porous borders are infitrated by miscreants and islamist! Fencing the damn nation is a good move since Nigeria is not technologically ready at the moment to deploy aeroSpace technology, satellite technology and drone survillance to protect our borders! Nigerian Drones are stil in development stages, and deploying them down will be grossly counter-productive if not adversely ineffective. Untill we are ready technology wise, i will vote with 10 fingers any referandum that envisages fencing our dear Nation Nigeria

WWhat is it with US nw? Nigeria go sniz, them go comment, nigeria go cough, them go shout, nigeria go say hi, them go refute! It seems there is definetly something going on between these two nations! Nigeria does nt suppress/oppress the press 1% like Saudi arabia, midle east, egypt, china etc yet Us dont shout wolf! The always tend to over exagerate anything nigeria! With words/phrases like most corrupt,Most poor, poorest,Most babaric, very uncontrolled population, Extremely underdeveloped. Relatively scarce building, very poor infrastructure etc yet there are other countries that are in worst situation bt never get exagerated. GO TO HELL WITH THE US

DictatorZAR: Really a country that's smaller then SA in land mass by 25% yet it has a populations over 3times larger I really doubt that, even though there might still be allot of untapped minerals.

SA on the other hand still has allot of un mined mineral wealth with even coal deposits in the region of 80-100 years of supply, we have over 80% of the known platinum deposits in the world.
the last i checked! NIgeria has large URANIUM DEPOSITS IN AKS state. So why the hoax? Nigeria has lead, iron ore, gold, uranium, oil, etc etc.

patriot4: Quit the lie, provide credible link. So now you are saying you people killed 1000. I don't want to insult you but you are really not verry intelligent. Now you have increased the number of your attackers from the 1000 you claimed to 8000. I'm fed up, you are a dreamer without logics or you are part of the SA propaganda team. Your army clearrly and swiftly got beaten by a bunch of children. They ran back home and you are there trying to change numbers, while SELEKA is cruising your vehicles (by the way your flags are still on most of those (you claimed earlier that your flags were not on those vehicles):
http://www.timeslive.co.za/thetimes/2013/04/02/cruising-sa-style-in-coup-capital
"Rebel soldiers who overthrew the government of the Central African Republic are cruising the streets of the capital, Bangui, in captured South African military vehicles."
I know SELEKA is better than sandf, but that doesn't qualifie them as a real army, therefor they are not compareable to NA. Your army is a sham, it comprises undisciplined and uneducated lazy cowards. You are a big liar. Go and beg SELEKA to train your army.
13 dead and 27 wounded my black As.s! When french forces and witneses say the say more then 53 body bags loaded with dead bodies and more coming in! I guess those dead guys must have been zumas cousins because acording to SA LIES ONLY 13 DIED! Lol

Due to some south africans persistent and misguided negative perception of the might of the armed forces of nigeria, i decided to do a little quiet research on why the armed forces was secretive about their acquisitions and training ops as these was the main reason for SA perceived self superiority. I found out that is enacted in the military act that the armed forces are not allowed to made public any media files and non media files, printable or non printable documents of descriptions, firepower, number ,strength, payload, hardpoints and other weapon specification of the weapons of the armed forces as this considered a capital offense and is punishable under the military act on account of military espionage. Any armed personel commiting such offense maybe court martial or dishonourably discharged for leaking of military research, training and weaponry secrets. Am very much sure that the opposite is the case 4 the SA defense forces as the pictures, descriptions, hardpoints, modules, research info, application etc of their weapons are publicly paraded to incur a sense of military superiority!

The prestigueos nigerian navy special forces known as the SBS train with US NAVY SEALS AND BRITISH SBS as a preliminary basic training procedure and all the SBS troops pass through Us seals b4 british SBS Training b4 being called Nigerian SBS yet stil an SA "aclaimed naval personel" would claim tactical naval superiority over nigerian navy because we dnt go about shouting about it in the media, each time those boys graduate the get 2-6 US customised Special warfare craft-boat of which normaly never gets penciled down in inventories yet an SA NAVAL PERsonel wouldnt hesistate to claim SWC-boat superiority the next time he gets a window to do so

AwodwaGyanOniwe: To Sheyi my YORUBA friend Nigeria will still be behind to SA in many things. South Africa has the highest number of tarred roads in Africa(even low income areas are tarred with running water and electricity). While half of Nigerias population live in RURAL AREAS where water is still fetched from rivers and dams with no electricity.

WELL BEING OF ALL CITIZENS IS CELEBRATEDsmiley
Data published by the institute - an independent think-tank producing research, policy critiques and risk analysis on South Africa - shows that between 1996 and 2010:

The number of South African households living in formal houses increased from 5.8-million to 11-million or by 89.9%. Over the same period the proportion of all households living in a formal house increased from 64% to 76%.

The number of South African households with access to electricity increased from 5.2-million to 11.9-million or by 127.9%, while the proportion of all households with access to electricity increased from 58% to 83%.

The number of South African households with access to piped water increased from 7.2-million to 12.7-million or by 76.6%. The proportion with access to piped water increased from 80% to 89%.

"Increases of a similar magnitude are true for all 15 service delivery indicators tracked by the institute," Cronje said.

"These improvements are corroborated by Living Standard Measure [LSM] improvements, which show equally dramatic improvements in the number and proportion of people in higher living standard brackets.

"Together with increased access to social welfare, which now reaches over 15-million people, service delivery successes are responsible for the fact that the proportion of South Africans living on less than US$2/day has declined from 12% in 1994, and a peak of 17% in 2002, to just 5% today."

Regarding service delivery protests, Cronje said that there was "no contradiction between the successes we identify and the protests that are now commonplace around the country.

"These protests are not a function of the failure of delivery but rather of its success, in that this success has raised expectations that cannot be met because of shortcomings in the school system and the labour market."

Cronje said that while the ruling African National Congress (ANC) was not perfect, and while it could be debated whether state-led delivery was the best development model for a country to follow, "the data we have published is unambiguous that the ANC and the government it leads deserves considerably more credit for improving the living standards of poor and black South Africans than it has received."

DictatorZAR: SA has been doing this for years now with our own satellites for both civilian and military use. By the way even Egypt has a fully functional spy satellite.

Now I've just been proven right again though Nigeria sent 26 trainees to UK all of its satellites are built by foreign countries, and stop denying it even this very link supports my view.tongue
why cant you read between lines b4 commenting bro? Were in the article does it say that all nigerian sattelites were built by the UK? The 26 scientiest were only supervised mostly becaused the production yard was abroad! All the space engineers had a prior mechanical and technical requirement to build and deploy the satalite to space!! You woudnt tell me that you would give a nuclear reactor to a person to build an supervise the person even when the dude doesnt know shit about Atomic physics! Thats the technical correlation of what your perhaps ignorantly implying.

The armor on the NNS Thunder is well known including its limitations, we've been through this before. If the Hamilton Class ship was so good why did the USN decommissioned it in 1980's already and gave it to the US Coast Guardhuh
