Hardaysheenar: ...All these without discipline is Futile and fruitless...teenagers are easier to control than full grown men...I will rather advise dt Nigeria sud concentrate on ds under 17 world cup competition than oda senior competitions! The truth is ,once exposure is gotten through the U17 games, the next agenda is to look for a club and make some money to help out their families....so much poverty in the land ,and football happens to be the quickest way out,for opportuned ones. |

TheGoodJoe: 27years? Kanu? Then you missed the rumour. Some said he was at least 31 in the Japan '93 U17. Yet he played for over seventeen years later.
I met a man who is a good friend of Wilson Oruma and he was in final year Geology in 2004 at Calabar. He was quite young and playing football for the University.
I was puzzled. I told him that someone told me that Oruma was thirty at the U17. The person told me he attended Oruma's birthday and the young man laughed.
He said it was not true. The man said he was even older than Oruma when they played ball at Benin. People lie to put footballers down and mock Nigerians achievement in the U17.
At 2004, this man was about 28-29. When I did my maths, Oruma must have been 16-17 in 1993. The only thing that keeps us united is football, yet some demonic people will come here talking about age this and age that.... athletes, looks older than their ages ,due to the need to stay fit....Take Ronaldo da lima, once he retired ,dude bloated like a balloon......Bruv,abeg bone those mofos.....when am scolding my 15yrs old nephew,i dey do am with love, cos the dude is as tall as me and well built. |

erekoshe: Intellectuals argue on topics, you insult one side of the debate, where do you belong. Bring out facts and defend them Its so difficult to comprehend some peeps mind set..so don't waste your time with them....If ones child fail an exam, the parent keeps telling the child he is the best, thereby encouraging him to do better, and eventually he will get better.Take cech republic for example,my nephew schools there and told me point blank its better than living in western Europe, but my thought about the country has always been of a country of lawlessness after their separation. The president needs to be making positive comments about the nation anytime he travels out. |

charlzchudi: In 24, we saw how corruption West Nations are but their leaders sweep their mess under the carpet. Not even their citizens know abt for National security reason. I support PDP on this. All this is because Nigerians are peaceful.....such utterances in a developed western country would have thrown the country into panic mood. |
