igwefivestar: so what did momodu said above that is nonsense to you sir? I me he is saying the truth, the Era of an eye for an eye politics has gone. Nigeria can't move forward without forgiveness, peace and unity you've said it all...we will never move forward without, forgiveness, peace and unity. It hurts me so bad that the sambisa forest, gwoza (where mopols are trained) used to be one of the most beautiful natural scenery in borno state. I wish baba could follow Mandela's example. |

Queenext: If DM could backtrack, with all the support he gave to PMB,then it shows PMB is a dismally failure.
I hope he listens, but he who the gods want to kill, they first make him mad. Honestly, the best thing for PMB right now is to follow the Mandela route of genuine truth, forgiveness and reconciliation,no leader in Nigerian history will surpass him,for that. |

Politics › Re: This Is How To Make Nigeria A Great Nation From Your Part by caprini1: 7:05am On Aug 01, 2018 |
My own suggestions to make Nigeria great is very simple ,the government should pick 6 states out the geo- political zones we have ,fixed them to perfection ,as in every infra structure is working 100%,like electricity ,roads, hospitals , airports, etc.
This will serve as a starting point for total development and migration for citizens .
Government trying to do everything , every where at the same time, and at the end nothing seems to work is not the answer.
Every where can not be Lagos or Abuja, some states could be the hub for agriculture, while some will be for industries, and some for oil exploration etc etc.Every one will be useful.
my humble opinion. |

Silly pastor, in your next life you will make the people your darling rather than ask for their sympathy for you when they themselves are in pains and crying for basic necessities like salary, food, education, road, water, security and truth while their governor is busy trying to seat idle for 4 years.
Now you cannot genuinely turn to the ordinary people.
Go and continue acting as an ATM to godfathers. Insensitive, insecure liar drenched in ineptitude. Exactly my thoughts....I have no single iota of pity for any politician, that did nothing for the masses ,and when he is in trouble,he is looking at the masses for help, may God punish all of them.Ordinary electricity we don't have. |

chronique: 2019 is not the year to vote for people like this man. the presidency has been zoned to the north in the two major political parties and any candidate who isn't from the north isn't going to win. we need to be smart in the south and stop all these yamayama. all hands must be on deck to remove buhari in 2019 an any vote for people like kingsley moghalu, sowore, fela durotoye and the rest, would just be a total waste and would make it harder to unseat buhari. kingsley moghalu should contest or senate and go and build his political network and alliance there. nigerian politics is different from that in the western world. you need to be grounded in these things before you come and to say you are contesting for presidency. the battle is going to be up north and for kingsley moghalu to get the required 25% o the votes casted in each northern state,is highly impossible. he isn't even popular in the south, not to talk of the north where their emirs and immams are the ones who tell them who to vote for. sowore, moghalu, durotoye and co are unserious clowns who do not know what it takes to be the president of nigeria, politically and such people would only waste our votes in 2019. politics is about structures in nigeria and theese guys are even contesting under parties without political structures in grassroot areas. they should remember it isn't only the elite and enlightened folks, that would vote in 2019. how do you explain to a man in the rural parts of borno, nasarawa, adamawa, sokoto, maiduguri, taraba, niger, zamfara, benue, plateau, kano, kaduna, and several other places that they should vote for kingsley moghalu, fela durotoye or omoyemi sowore? these guys are not as popular as they think and cant get votes in such areas if pitted against buhari. the 3 of them should just go and sit down somewhere if they are not ready to take the right steps, politically. you dont just jump out up of nowhere and start vying to be president of a difficult country like nigeria. . The biggest clown ,is one SKC ogbonnia. |

dopeJemi: Stop calling people liars because you have not experienced what others have experienced, it is uncultured. Are you saying we are making things up? For what reason exactly? Please just because you haven't been harassed by them doesn't give you the right to call us That have been harassed liars, Can I also call you a liar? Because you claim to have not been harassed and your opinion is different from mine, can I call you a liar?
Has anyone here claimed they harass every single Nigerian? We stated our own personal experiences and you are here calling us liars, why? Because you were there with us when it happened? Oga my work takes me through about 5 west African countries for the past 12 years and the only time some of my employees got arrested by gendarme's was because they went partying at jon k without their passports, and I went to bail them with just 4000 CFA each accompanied with their passports and I simply explained that they work for a shipping company with proofs.T hey were let go same night...If you don't have valid ID,s in cotonou, thats an attraction to arrests. |

LeoThaGreat: It's been almost a year since I left there. I slept at the Akpapka police station three years ago cuz we were having a loud house party way into the midnight. It's almost a daily routine for me & my neighbours to stroll from Gabahon to Mama Emma or to play snooker at Apple Store, and not once did we encounter police gbege before 12am.
About going into people's houses, it's got to be that they're smoking weed or playing loud music, and it's the Beninoise around them that will call the police.
About the old stop-and-search, you should know they're only looking for students with expired lesse-passe (or school I.D )
All I've said isn't to defend them, but from my personal experience Don't mind all these liars ,whipping up sentiments......you only get arrested ,when you don't have a passport with stamped entry.I move anytime in cotonou, police stops me,demands my ID,once they check my passport ,I'm free to go. |
